Arthur Treacher's Fish & Chips

So for mothers day I decided to give my mom a trip down memory lane. Everything was as wonderful as we remembered it from the 1970's. Food, service and atmosphere all 5 stars. She and I loved every minute. Thank you! We need more of these restaurants.

Far better than Long John Silver's and I wish they were closer to southwestern pennsylvania. It seems like better quality ingredients and less greasy overall.

I'm not an owner, nor do I have any personal financial gain from Arthur Teacher"s. I grew up with this franchise! I'm also US Navy Retired and have been all over the British coast in search of the best, authentic, Fish and Chips. However, none compare. My favorite "Chippy" has always been Arthur! Cuyahoga Falls, is one of possibly two of these beautiful venues near me (Brunswick, Ohio). This venue was clean, both inside and out. Clean restrooms! Awesome personnel! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted, engaged and thanked. The staff definitely takes pride in their food, service and cleanliness. The price of everything we ordered, was less expensive than we thought it would be and had enough to bring home for the air fryer! We will definitely go back!👍👍

My husband and I were going to the Irish Fest and could barely believe our eyes that there was an Arthur Treacher's in Cuyahoga Falls! Being that it was a Friday, and we are old-school practicing Byzantine Catholics, this was just the thing we needed. Ryan, who I imagine is the team leader, almost single-handedly ran the entire location, and with a smile and sense of customer service. We were so impressed! The food was great, and my husband especially liked the "plank" fries. Everything was cooked perfectly and we left full. I sure wish there were more locations, but I am thankful we had the opportunity to eat at this one in Cuyahoga Falls.

Always great fried fish and chips. Staff and management Always seems to go the extra mile unlike some other fast food type restaurants. We stop by a couple times anytime we're traveling through because it was always one of my favorite restaurant. Now they're the last still resembling the old chain as far as I can tell. Keep em alive people of Ohio!

Arthur Treacher's was one of our favorites. In Pittsburgh Pennsylvania many years ago. We traveled from Beaver Pa to indulge in fish and chips. It was well worth the 2 hr drive 🩷💜🩷🌹🫶🏾

We have been talking about going here for a long time. I finally made the trek and am glad that I did. From the moment that we walked in to the time that we left, the employees were outstanding! I ordered so much food, and they were trying to get us the best deals possible. And when I say I ordered a lot, my total was $140. 😳 But it was definitely worth it!

While we were waiting for our food to get cooked and boxed up, my son noticed these paper ships and wanted one. I went to the counter and asked if he could have one or if I could purchase one for him. The employee told me that they were free and that he could have a couple of them. The employee also said that they don't have toys like other fast food restaurants, but they had stuffed animals that he could pick from. He found a Thor stuffy, and he was so excited!

After our food was boxed up, one of the employees offered to help me out to my car. It was lightly raining and I really appreciated the help. Because there was a lot! On our ride back home, my son was living his best life naming his ships. It has been three days and he's still playing with them!

Bought the Lenten special 5 for 10.95 was not disappointed.
Surprisingly delicious chicken.

I recently read a column in the Akron Beacon where are some of the writers listed their favorite places to eat. One of the places mentioned was Arthur Treacher on State Road. I had totally forgot that this was even there, so I decided to try it, and of course the food was amazing as I had remembered, but the reason for this review is for the young man working the front register. His name was Cole. He was so friendly, he even inquired as to how my day was and you don’t find this much in customer service anymore especially with young people. He was full of knowledge about the company and you could tell he enjoyed being there & helping his customers. The one thing that really stood out as far as the young man goes is that he was very knowledgeable about the company as well and it was fun to kind of reminisce about some of the history of Arthur Treacher’s why we waited for our food to be prepared. Had never specifically been inside the location before and they have a very nice dining area that I was unaware of so if you’re in the mood for fish or a little Arthur Treachers history I would recommend stopping in this location. Thank you Cole for the great service, we will definitely be back!

We were excited to be able to experience the authentic Arthur Teacher's food again! When we go to the area, we make sure to visit. If you like Arthur Teacher's Fish and Chips, u won't be disappointed! 🐠

This is my first time at this location. For those who are interested, you should know that this location is the last free-standing Arthur Treacher's in America! If you're like me and you grew up with Arthur Treacher's then you must check this place out. The restaurant is clean and the food was great! I even had the chance to speak with the owner and learn a little history about the restaurant. He's wondering when it if he's going to retire but I hope he stays around. If you're looking for Nostalgia and some good ol fashioned tasty fish and chips then you have to go here.

Food tasted exactly as we remembered. The Arthur Treacher's restaurants all closed around where we live, so we were so happy to find this one. Enjoyed everything so much! The restaurant was spotless. Will definitely go back. It was well worth the drive from Mentor.

Have been going to Arthur Treachers since I was a kid. Unfortunately, this is the last one open so please don't ever close! lol We both ordered fish dinners, came with chips & hush puppies. All of it was good, and I mean all of it! It was fresh, hot and had very good flavor. The inside is open now, so you can dine in and get your own drinks, etc...The staff is always friendly and is efficient. I've had their chicken before too which is equally tasty. I highly recommend!

This is the last Arthur Treacher's in the country. I drove an hour to get there. It was fantastic, and the chicken, fries, and hush puppy's were just like I remembered. If you have a chance to go their you won't be sorry.

The best thing I ever got at a Wendy’s location was Arthur Treacher ‘s. Over a decade ago Arthur Treacher‘s moved into an old Wendy’s location in Cuyahoga Falls Ohio and they’re still going strong. One of only two locations that I know of locally walking into the restaurants like going back in time. Their fish taste like it’s 1972 but fresh their french fries are perfectly crispy And their hush puppies are “hush puppies” In all their breaded goodness.

The employees here are the mot pleasant, kind and enjoyable. I challenge you to find hush puppies better than this place. Fries are excellent and the hand pies, perfect. We love our Arthur Treachers

I was happy to finally see Arthur Treacher’s fish and chips again after last, seeing it in Kent, Ohio, 40 years ago! the food taste the same, but there did not appear to be very many people there enjoying any food. It might’ve been a bad time of the day.

It’s so awesome that the local community has supported this last Arthur Treacher’s location and helped it survive all these years. We drove up from Cincinnati to give it a shot and both the food and the service were great! I’m so glad we made the stop!

I hate that there are only two restaurants left. I grew up with Arthur Treacher’s original fish and chips! Best in the world for taste, service and excellence. I now live in South Carolina so sadly I will probably never be able to visit the last two restaurants but I can almost tastes it right now! My mouth is watering just thinking about it! Thank you to the last two remaining restaurants for keeping the torch burning! And PLEASE, PLEASE open one near Georgetown South Carolina! I’m 64 now but I would be a 17 year old kid again in your restaurants!❤❤❤

The food was good small dining room as in the past. Quite expensive for fried saturated food….It was $14.92 for a drink, 3 piece chicken tenders, fries and a side of popcorn shrimp..Like one of the last ones left near Cleveland/Akron. Awesome we drove from Cleveland to eat here we used to have an Arthur Treatures on W 140th St in Cleveland and various locations.
