Glynn County Police Department

I just want to say thank you officers and staff in your constant diligence for making Glynn county a safer place to visit and possibly live. I sat in a parking lot today coming from Virginia trying to relax and unwind from all the traffic on the highway and I must say I saw those officers out there doing their patrols in a manner that I felt safe where I was sitting in my vehicle. I saw these officers quite frequently and I must say in most counties you don't see a police officer very often. This is a good Police department and I would hope that the community understands that. Thank you officers and God bless you and happy New Year

Hats off to your team. Honestly, I don't know how to thank them. From the moment I called 911 until the officer came to assist my family. We knew we we're in good hands.. yall made us feel like we we're at home in Clearwater Florida. The officer was tall, and had a dark beard very professional and so detailed. WOW we.

We were traveling from West Virginia to Florida the day after Thanksgiving and had a tire blowout on I-95 near Brunswick at mile marker 44 and an officer (did not get a name) was so helpful and stayed with us until Triple-A arrived. Just by being there kept the traffic away from our car. We were very thankful he was there and would like to thank him and your department for monitoring the interstate and taking car of issues like this that come up from time to time. Again thanks so much.

I was stopped last night for lights out on the back of my truck (I didn't know) by officer Mario Nichols #144. Officer Nichols was very professional and courteous. A reminder we should all check our lights on a regular basis.

My mother is 74 and is deteriorating both mentally and physically. The family was aware of this, but we did not realize the severity of it.
My mother got lost on her way to a doctor's appointment yesterday. I called her because she was late getting home. She read some street signs to me but she was unable to find a place to pull over. I ended up calling the police non emergency number and explained the situation. They located her within 15 minutes. They were cordial and reassuring. They prevented a potentially hazardous and fatal situation from happening. The police responded and they had EMS check her out. Then they were kind enough to bring her back to the fire station to wait the two hours for me to get there.
From the time my call was answered until I arrived at Fire Station Glynn County they're were 100% professional, keeping me in the know and taking care if my mother. There could have been a horrible ending to this situation. I cannot thank all involved enough.

Last night, January 12, 2018, My wife called the Glynn County Police Department after my daughter caught someone hiding under our garage when she drove into our driveway. The response was very quick, within 3 minutes, the officers were very professional and did a fantastic job canvassing our neighborhood! Several officers responded and searched the neighborhood for about 30 minutes! Thank you Glynn County for hiring such dedicated and professional police officers! Our whole neighborhood in Belle Point thanks you!!

Excellent Chief working diligently to investigate & correct internal issues from his predecessor. Growing Dept, with improved pay, and more career options. Prompt, courteous assistance from all the dedicated officers .

Good group trying to better themselves for the benefit of the community. It will take years to remove the Good Ol' Boy problem from law enforcement throughout all 3 of the county's law enforcement agencies, but GCPD has taken active steps to start the process where others have not necessarily done the same.
