Dempseys Grille

This is a cute little place with great customer service and even better food. Never had a Ruben and it has set the bar very high for any one I have after. I am a bit of a cinnamon roll snob and I will say that the owners take was made with a unique batter that keeps the rolls moist. The typical frosting was made with a caramel sauce that did not harden, leaving a nice ooey gooey (that’s the name 😁) sweet layer on top that melts into the roll. I look forward to making the trip again!

Pancakes are massive and delicious.
Sunday is busy here, suggest coming early. Plan on a little wait, but it's worth it. 10/10.

5 Stars! What a great meal and Carla our server was so nice! The Reuben and the corn fritters w powdered sugar...awesome! Also the pumpkin cheesecake was perfection! Can't wait to go back!

We had lunch today at Dempsey's and it was absolutely excellent. Three of us had the fish sandwich (two with delicious beef vegetable soup) and one of us had the chicken BLT with avocado. Everything was great! The place was hopping and our server was very attentive to our table. We highly recommend this lovely small-town restaurant.

We came here for breakfast one morning. We sat at the bar because the place was packed, and for good reason--the food was great, as was the atmosphere. We'll definitely come back to try some other menu options in the future.

Out of this world food, service, price, and overall experience! The kitchen is a well oiled machine and everyone works hard to give you the best experience possible.

The restaurant is located in a beautiful historic town. They have a nice selection of comfort food. They are very busy but gave my kids some food to snack on for the long wait. If you don't mind waiting a bit this is a good casual place to eat. My dinner was $15 and came with two sides. We visited on a Wednesday so the kids got to eat chicken nuggets from the chicken man. The waitress, cooks, and manager were all very nice.

When my sister and I haven’t seen one another for quite sometime we decided to have breakfast here and they welcomed us by saying, welcome home! This place is so cozy and the service is fantastic! Can’t believe it took us this long to find this place! Oh and bonus, gluten free bread and the coffee is amazing!!!

I decided to dine-in at Dempseys Grille on a rainy Sunday morning, and as expected, their hearty homestyle breakfast & their wonderful customer service provided a ray of sunshine! I enjoyed their Belgian waffle with a side of bacon, and a side of home fries covered in sausage gravy. Everything was absolutely delicious! I was equally impressed with how well the servers worked together to provide excellent customer service to everyone who set foot into the establishment. Shout out to Carly, Nani, Skyla, Maddex and the rest of the gang. Keep up the good work. I will definitely dine-in more often.

Great casual dining. Staff is exceptional, food is good. Very comfortable friendly place. Repeat customers and we will keep coming back.

We discovered this little gem because we decided to go on a hike today - Nearby in the foot of the Appalachian hills. We had brunch, and the food was outstanding! Hats off to the cooks here at Dempseys.

The experience was a comforting combo of delicious food and friendly service! In honor of my Mom on her birthday, I enjoyed Dempsey's delicious French toast, a side of crispy bacon, and coffee! 😋

Had breakfast there last week. It seems smaller than the picture online...but that makes it quaint I think. ;) Breakfast was very good and the staff were super friendly.

The spinach artichoke soup was absolutely phenomenal! Greatest cold weather soup in Frederick county. Hands down!

What a classic all American place!!! I had a delicious classic breakfast of 2 eggs, bacon, grits, homwfries and toast. We will be going back!

I love Dempseys. It's been my family's breakfast spot since we moved to the area. The food is always great and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. We have a toddler and a baby, so meals are usually a bit chaotic now and we can't get there too often anymore, but I'm happy every time.

Looking for that little Mom and Pop dinner, this place has been there for years and there is a couple of reasons. Great food, great prices, and a great meal. I went there with my family growing up, and I take my family there now.
