They are nice! Great deal, and they squeezed us in after hours without an extra fee because we had a baby.

They fixed our AC when it was going to be about 100⁰ that day, so that was very sweet. Love them and will go to them again if need be <3

My AC stopped blowing cold air on a 90 degree Saturday. I called Affordable and spoke to the answering service. Within a short time, Brandon called to let me know he would arrive shortly as long as I understood that it would be overtime charges. He did a temporary fix and quoted me an exact price before proceeding. He was very polite, respectful and efficient. He put in a parts order and told me to expect a call during weekday hours to set up a time for a permanent fix. I look forward to working with Affordable in the near future. Highly recommend!!

I don’t usually put reviews out there but the service I receive from Affordable Heating and Cooling was excellent. Just moved to a new house and still familiarizing myself to the heating system in our house. I had trouble getting my heating system staying warm one day so, I ended up calling them. He came in right away to check my furnace and it was such a relief when he assured me everything is working and showed me how to reset my thermostat. He even checked my furnace two days after his service to see if everything is good and never charged me. Thank you so much

Matt & Cody arrived right on time and installed our new air conditioner unit. The install looks neat and well done, and they cleaned up all the debris from removing the old one. They were very considerate of our property and made sure to close the gate for our dog. I have always been impressed with Affordable Heating and Cooling, it's not hard to get an appointment, they come when they say they will and I get great work at a great price.

Very competent service call at a reasonable price. Nick had the required parts with him to make the repairs, and discussed options with us prior to doing the work. He trained us on the operation of the new device and answered all our questions before leaving. This will be our first call if we need future repairs.

My old a/c was dying a slow death. I asked Affordable to quote new a/c and furnace unit and have a service tech check out my old a/c (18 years old). Affordable quoted 2 options for new units and explained the difference. The service tech thoroughly checked out the old unit and explained costs and risks of repairing the old unit. I then had all info needed to make an educated decision. I went with the new units and everything went like clockwork! Installers were terrific and fully explained the new units. I might add that within the last year I had 5 Star Plumbing install a new water heater and I purchased 6 appliances from Iowa Appliance. Those sister companies were equally great to work with!

Let me step you through my experience here, because I'm still surprised how well everything went;

The day is a Friday and I have scheduled to meet with a technician on my options for replacing my furnace and AC. I get email and text reminders of our scheduled appointment and who I am meeting with. A man by the name of Brad comes out, dressed professionally with a very friendly demeanor. I walk him through what I have existing in my house and he gives me his honest opinions and professional insight on my options. He fills me in on the facts; what my current system's efficiency level is at, how much time it might likely have left, and which parts would be on the "next-to-fail" list. Having not wanting to have an emergency repair during the dead of winter when it may take weeks to get something fixed or installed, I decided to go the route of a new system.

I was fully expecting to spend an arm and a leg on the new system, but was actually able to get it for SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS UNDER my expected cost!! Not only did they offer one of the better brands on the market, but they also took care of the rebates from the utility companies, and even a rebate from the manufacturer which brought the cost down by several hundred dollars! I was looking to get everything installed by the end of Fall, but with such reasonable costs, I was able to schedule them out 5 days later!

Wednesday comes rolling around. We have them scheduled to start at 7:30am. I again get a concise detailed email and text that my technician is on his way, and even a link to real-time tracking of their vehicle and their ETA (similar to UBER). Their technician by the name of Steven and his co-technician make it to the house 15 min earlier than expected (so quite punctual). After their friendly introduction, they immediately began working and even put up with my inquisitive watching and excited comments on their processes. They were very proud of their work and were happy to see me so excited about the new system! After the install was complete, they cleaned up the space well and walked me through my new system and how everything works and operates.

I’m very happy with my new system and the great customer service and professional installation I had gotten! Truly couldn’t have gone any better for me!

Overall all of them were well organized and prepared ever since I called them to ask about their services in replacing my ac and heating system. They came in early in the morning today and spent time installing our new unit and giving me updates about it along the way. They were really nice! This older gentleman showed me how to use our new thermostat and informed me on ways to make sure our unit stays in good shape for years to come.

They installed a new Lennox AC and Furnace, replaced our old one from 1987. Great customer service! We got over 6 quotes from other nearby installers and they beat everyone else's. I'll update after a month or two to let you know about our new system. ;)

We had an issue with our furnace not kicking on last week. We had it inspected last Friday, and the technician found that there were no issues. For some reason, it finally crapped out this week and we had to call a technician after-hours (about 5:30pm on Monday). The answering service got us in touch with a service technician very quickly. They were able to come out just a few hours after I called. We found out that the control panel was actually bad. They were able to get the part today (Tuesday) and came out about 9:30pm to get it installed. We have heat!!! Thank you, Affordable Heating & Cooling.

I called Affordable H&C due to a furnace issue. They communicated with me well regarding arrival times and gave me a call ahead of time when the technician was on the way. Nick was very nice and helpful, and even put my new Nest thermostat in last minute! Thank you!! I would definitely recommend Affordable H&C.

From the very first call my wife made just to find information everyone we have dealt with has been very professional and respectful. The secretary my wife talked to was very knowledgeable about what could be wrong and the price to fix it. When I called to set up the appointment the gentleman I talked to updated my information from the previous owner, was very upfront about times and prices. I felt very respected when he asked me about approving overtime if they couldn't make it before 5. Before Chris, the tech, came out he called and showed up when he said he would be there and I got a text confirming the time and had a picture of him so I would know who to look for, once again felt very respected. When Chris was here he worked very efficiently and professionally. He received a couple of calls and before answering he ASKED me if he could take it. He didn't say excuse me I have to take this, He ASKED me if he could. Made me feel like I was the most important person to him at that time, felt very respected. Would highly recommend this company and already planning to have them do our yearly inspections in the fall.

Craig and nelson were amazing! Knowledgeable and efficient! Craig diagnosed the problem quickly on the service call. Craig and nelson completed the repair in a very timely manner. The call ahead notification is great and allowed me to time my appointment with work which was very convenient. Would highly recommend affordable heating and cooling.

Nick, did an excellent job servicing my Air Conditioner!

Affordable heating and air is a lifesaver!! Our air conditioner went out the week of memorial day weekend. We had a guy planning on coming out that Wednesday, but then no called no showed leaving us with 2 days to find someone before the weekend. Along with it being memorial day weekend, it was a ridiculous hot week and my wife was scheduled to go to the hospital to give birth that Friday as well. I called several places and explained my unusual situation with no one willing to help. We called Affordable and after explaining our situation to lady that answers the phone, she spoke to the owner who went above and beyond to squeeze us in and make sure we had A/C as soon as possible. They came out the next day and replaced our unit and worked and got everything done while we were in the hospital. So by the time we got back home with our newborn our home was nice and cool. I cannot express how thankful and satisfied I am by using affordable heating and air. On top the amazing service it was a very reasonable price for a new unit and install as well. It's been a year since and had zero issue with our new unit. I will never use another heating and cooling company again. They gained a customer for life!!

This is the second time we have used Affordable Heating and Cooling in less then a year. Both total system replacements. I could have not been happier with the quote to the install and follow up service. Will definitely use them again for any Heating or Air Conditioning issues. I have called twice and they have been in less then an hour! It’s nots just about the equipment but importantly the install and follow up service! We also had there sister company clean our duct work before new install and I give a 5 star also. Thank you Brad in sales, Nick in scheduling and Steven for the great install !
