Fair price. Breakfest was the best for me with the country fried steak. Also the pot roast is good. Always the spot to eat a lot at a low price.

Very reliable, and you can’t beat the price at lunchtime. It doesn’t come with a beverage, but you should be drinking more water anyway. Especially if you’re going to eat your heart out out of a buffet. About $12.50 for excellent vegetables, quality meats, fresh salad, bar, and a dessert. And nobody rushes you. Really appreciate it. Sometimes the roles are kind of anemic looking, but this was it today.

My son and I went here and it was a great experience.

I love to cook and do so every night at home.

This is only the second time in his 9 years that we have been to a restaurant and his first time at a buffet.

There was a great selection of food between main dishes, side dishes, some fruits and desserts.

The restaurant was very clean and the bathroom was very clean as well.

The staff were amazingly friendly as well and they were so great when interacting with children.

My son really loved it here and we have already decided to come back.

It is conveniently located right across the street from the Maplewood Mall and located right next to Hobby Lobby.

Great food, great time, my little dude smashed on some food. Minus the crazy people up front saying they were going to make a scene. (Lucky they didn't, it wouldn't have been a good day for them) Overall they handled them clowns fine. Thanks 👍🏻

Best taste freshly grilled buffet steaks and other quality food. I've tried at some fine diners that offer aged and 5x more expensive steaks, I still prefer golden corral's at any second. Not too overly buttery or too plain. Worth every penny for driving 2 hours a month each way to eat at this Maplewood, MN location.

Great salad bar / love the taters and gravy / fried fish / sweet potato w/ marshmallows on top / the desert bar is well stocked and big variety of pies. Soda tastes bubbly and fresh. I'm always Happy to come here and they always deliver in spades on value and variety !

If you want to be waited on hand and foot this isn't the place for you. We read all the reviews before coming and it's seems like the people who had something negative to say were just entitled honestly.

Much nicer and cleaner than any of the reviews showed, of course there's going to be messes made that may take half a second to clean since this is a family friendly buffet. You serve yourself, meaning you get your own drinks and food. The only thing the staff does is clear your table. If you don't like that go somewhere else!

If you don't like kids don't come! I saw a lot of reviews about kids running around and it being crowded, it's a family friend buffet there's going to be kids and there's going to be a lot of people. Don't come if you don't like that.

Most of the staff are very nice, the cooks are definitely tired but it's extremely hot in there and they're humans too be kind to the people who make your food.

The bathrooms didn't smell for us but the changing table is a little broken which is inconvenient but not the end of the world.

The food is basic bland food if you want something more cultural look else where but for unlimited food this is good. We got there at the perfect time and all of the food was being brought out fresh.

I am amazed at how Golden Coral hits home runs in quality, presentation and deliciousness with their home-style cooking ; fairly constantly and by the boat loads.
A "kinda kickedback and casual" feeling for all who attend...even when fitted in "Sundays best".
Thanks for a great time. We loved our friendly (and only politely engaging) server. Besides indulging in nearly endless food selections to our hearts and bellies content; the friendly and prompt service turn what was at first an mildly intimidating food adventure into a relaxed and entertaining meal.

First time ever eating here. Can't wait to go again. Great selection. So much to choose from.

Always delicious as normal. But I mostly eat chicken, fish, potatoes, and desserts. But I try all versions of each thing. Because they do have a good assortment on everything. Oh can't forget the sweet buttered buns, they are to die for.

For what you are paying to eat here it is pretty good food. Cuts of beef are decent but still have some grizzle or silver skin. The grill master knows what they are doing. The deals bar has variety. They have something for everyone.

I was pleasantly surprised! The food was very very good! My favorite was the bourbon chicken. My boyfriend really liked the meatloaf too. He said it's just like mom used to make. It was fantastic! The selection of food was very good. Prices are very very reasonable. Very quiet atmosphere. Family style eating. Just can't say enough good things about it. I would highly recommended!

It's a buffet with so many options. A cool hack is combining foods from different sections, like the Asian chicken with the peppers and onions from the fajitas section.

Took my mom and grandpa here for mother's day.

I am a contractor that at one point I had 7 states to remodel Golden corral, with that being said this place is Hands down the best one I've been to, food is different than other locations not all but they have different options, is very well laid out and thr weekend staff is great and friendly!

Took my fiance on a date there yesterday and the food was delicious. It was 17 dollars per person, plus 4 dollars for our drinks each. So it came out to around 43 dollars in total.

Considering it's at an Old location that as a young kid I looked forward to going to it was the only time I got to think very highly of my family and the indifference we and most families are awarded with we seem to enjoy a meaningful meal together usually after church typically followed by an outing so I can say Golden corral has Big shoes to fill in replacing an old staple such as Old Country buffet I hope to see more locations much needed in today's society considering buffet style is a rarity in need of remembering

This was a deja Vu,, the old school qualities of family,, strong roots,,was present in the entire atmosphere of the experience,, the food was just an add bonus,, I'll be going there every Sunday after service,,**, so be it

This place never disappoints! There is always something for everyone, and they always have my favorites (bourbon chicken, chili, seafood salad, pot roast and salads!)

The 2 of us couldn't have thought of a better place for lunch.

I wish I could afford this place more often, it is so good and well worth it.

I loved the selection of foods here. Nice and friendly waiters too. I loved the dinner rolls most as they are fresh and fluffy. All the meals tasted great.

I had a lovely leisurely lunch with my niece and great niece. Although there were many customers there getting our food was quick. I wanted the ham, my favorite, the person cutting it had stepped away to get something and although I waited only a few moments he was very apologetic. He was pleasant and quickly did the cutting. In fact all the employees had smiles on their faces and very helpful. As always the food was delicious. Golden Corral is one of our favorite places to dine. The food is good, employees very nice and we are never rushed to get out.
