YES! They understood the assignment. Very happy with our visit to Joseph's tonight. Cecilia was amazing and attentive, very friendly. The food was excellent. They had a ribeye special that wasn't on the menu, so I ordered that, and was not disappointed. The mashed potatoes came out with a pool of delicious butter. YUM!! One of the BEST Bloody Mary's I've ever had!! The prices are very reasonable. Very comfortable and clean. We will be back. Highly recommended!

Joseph's offers great home-cooked food at very reasonable prices. I got a cheese, mushroom and onion omelet, hash browns and two small pancakes - all delicious! My husband got steak and eggs, toast and fresh fruit - for under $16.99!! The steak was prepared exactly as ordered and was also yummy;

The food was good. I ordered pancakes with eggs. I wasn’t a big fan of the eggs, but the pancakes was delicious. My family and I came in town to visit our family in Star Prairie. A Very lovely restaurant! I highly recommend!

Had an amazing skillet breakfast this morning with a Bloody Mary. The bloody was on point and the skillet was top notch! I don’t eat a lot of bread but the sourdough was excellent. On top of all that, our waitress was a delight. Perfect visit. Thank you!

Been going here for the better part of 10 years and they consistently have great food and service. Good specials and even of you don't like those the regular menu is extensive and everything is great. One of the best breakfast places around. 2023 update: some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. Must try.

I had a wonderful experience, a family friend took us here after my boys won a district championship for hockey. There were 7 of us. The waitress was very nice, attentive, kept our glasses filled and our food came out pretty quick. We ordered cheese curds and French fries to start. The fries were crunchy and delicious and the cheese curds were good. A lot of us ordered the broasted chicken dinner, i loved the mashed potatoes and the chicken had good seasonings, moist and juicy. The Canadian Walleye meal wasn't greasy, very crisp and flakey, very delicious.. My son ordered a Belgian waffle and it was big, it came with eggs and bacon plus some strawberry preserves. We ended with some banana cream pie that was one of the best I had. Overall we were all full and satisfied, definitely a place I will visit again.

You must get the corn cob smoked bacon. May sound weird, but this is delicious and you can't find it hardly anywhere anymore. Breakfast all day, great burgers. I got the black bean burger without a bun and added bacon. (I'm not a vegetarian) and their type of black bean burger is pretty good, but not awesome. But really...I could order a plate of bacon and some hashbrowns and be happy. Note: the fries have batter on them, which some like and some dont - but I know there are strong feelings on this. My husband got the lumberjack burger. Hand patty burger, good quality meat, and cooked perfect. Good bun. And save room for pie!

Phenomenal food I had the raspberry fritter french toast . My girlfriend had a burger perfectly cooked and her fries were amazing !!!! Highly recommend this place and we will be going back.

Good food and good service. The place was crazy busy but our server still made time to talk to us. Manager came by a couple times to see how we were doing since the wait was long. Will go there again when in the area next year for the snow sculpting contest.

When we're in Rice Lake we always go for breakfast, fast service, very friendly waitresses and always good food

My wife ordered carry out while out camping at the Apple River. Service was friendly and on top of our needs(extra salt since ours got wet, extra sauces that were all in separate little containers, which is nice while eating on a picnic table). The breasted fried chicken was juicy and flavorful.
My hamburger was cooked perfectly, even after driving 15 minutes back to the site. The garlic mashed potatoes were good, I was expecting a little more after my wife said she read many reviews taking about them(maybe it's just that the other food was that good ;). We will be going back when we are in Stillwater.
