I recently purchased a boat from Jims Marine in MD and everyone there was very helpful every step of the way. I drove 1.5 hours from South Jersey with my family to see the boat and meet everyone. I could tell right away they were family owned and very knowledgeable and courteous. And their goal was to ensure the buyer was satisfied. Very clean and organized property and service and sales area. Sea trial was great and very informative. Id recommend Jims to anyone looking to purchase a boat new or used. And be sure to stop at Twinnys place around the corner for breakfast or lunch. All around good experience.

JUST WOW !
Drove over two hours to buy our boat from Jim's Marine instead of a closer local Tidewater dealer. Their pricing on the same boat was better by far. What I didn't know or expect was the Truly AMAZING experience Jamie made this boat purchase. Every part was pleasurable and she was so excited for us it was contagious. They are a family business in every way. Jim the captain (also family) took over three hours on the water going over the boat and with over thirty years of being a boat owner I learned many things! Even Mom was helpful and excited for us.
My wife is right, I really don't know everything:)
I wished they also owned a Auto Dealership, I would buy a truck from them cause this is a big boat!!

At the Timonium Boat Show in January we met Jaime, Tammy and Jake from Jim’s Marine. We loved that they were a family business, and everyone was knowledgeable and helpful. They had some beautiful boats that offered everything we wanted – fishing, cruising, and a head!
We put a deposit on a 220 CC… During the next few months, we BOMBARDED Jaime with a million questions, being new boat owners – we had a LOT – every question was answered, advice was given and we never felt we were bothering anyone by asking. Jim’s Marine really knows their stuff!
Part of their service is a sea trial on the new boat - ( which was a rainy, windy and cold day ) but Jake took his time, and patiently answered everything we asked, and went over every aspect of the controls, the engine, gave helpful hints on trailering in/out of the water, in hindsight, I’m glad it wasn’t a perfect day- I got to really see and control what the boat can do in rougher conditions.
Usually a large purchase – boat, car, house, can be incredibly stressful, but not so with this company– Everyone was helpful and truly happy for us with our new purchase!
I highly recommend Jim’s Marine if you are interested in a boat!

My wife and I have nothing but good things to say about our experience at Jim’s Marine. We were looking for a new Tidewater center console, but we were getting snubbed by the Tidewater dealer only 5 minutes away from our home so we put an inquiry in at Jim’s and Jaime promptly called us back the next morning. Purchasing a boat from Jim's Marine is a no brainer. Due to the high demand, my process was a 6 month one. From the day I walked into the shop "just looking", through all the emails and calls, to the day I took delivery, the process was smooth and painless. Jimmy was awesome! No high pressure sales, very responsive, and went above and beyond with my questions, requests, changes, etc. during the wait. Tami was very thorough with the paper work and explained everything. I was a little unsure at first whether or not I wanted to drive over an hour away for this particular purchase based on my previous experiences with OTHER dealers. But, I must say I am so happy that I did!

The staff, customer service and quality of the vessel I purchased from Jim, Tami and Jimmy (who was my initial contact) were so fantastic I honestly can't say enough good about them or my experience without sounding like a "paid for" endorsement.

After shopping around at several dealerships, we picked Jim's. We thought Tidewater was a good value, but the determining factor for us were the knowledgeable and friendly staff at Jim's.

Working with Jim’s marine to purchase our boat has been a great experience. From our initial visit to the sea trial and signing the papers, Jimmy and Tami were awesome to work with. Jimmy was able to give us a realistic expectation of cost and what to expect and was super helpful along the way with all the questions I was throwing at him.
