Spanky's Pizza

Spanky's definitely lives up to all the other reviews. What a hidden gem; it's like stepping back in time with the nostalgia of the place, the game room downstairs and the friendliness of the service. The pizza is out of this world, a delicious thin crust, perfectly melted cheese without a ton of grease, just the right amount of tomato sauce, and fresh toppings, in this case chicken and mushrooms. Great prices too!

This was a super good pizza place! We had stopped by when we were heading through town, and I'm glad we did. The pizza had a really nice crust, and was cooked perfectly. The ambience and customer service of this restaurant is really nice too, even though I wasn't in there for too long. Loved it.

Idk their names but the lady and the guy working on March 5th were so incredibly kind. They offered free water to my friend. Ice cup for my drink and was overall very friendly, not to mention how delicious the pizza is, im currently eating leftovers right now. But I 100% recommend this place to anyone

We used to come along time ago. Then we would go to sprint car races. But we reconnected with friends up there. So for my birthday we went to spanky's pizza then sprint car races. Is was a wonderful evening.

This place was amazing!!! The pizza they made was absolutely delicious.

The staff were very kind, and told us the story of why they named their restaurant Spanky's. Based off the character in Little Rascals.

I can't wait to come back here again!

Stopped in today with the family on our way through. We were greeted with friendly smiles and great service. We ordered a large everything pizza. WOW! Hours later, we are still talking about our wonderful experience.

Top notch pies. Local business. Way better than any chain. The large is substantial and the pizza is done just right, nice and crispy but not burnt. I especially hate gooey undercooked dough. Check them out.

My family and I found this little place and it was a great experience, the pizza and the cheese burger were absolutely delicious 😋 and the staff so friendly! The place is original vintage and they even have a Rock-ola with great music 🎶

Absolutely fantastic pizza. Red sauce is good, crust has a great flavor and is not overly chewy, and everything is very well priced. I recommend pastrami as a topping. If you're looking to feed the whole family on pizza night, this is an economical and delicious option.

Best pizza in Placerville. I almost hate to review this place because I don't want anything to change. Quality seems to go down when to many people know about these hidden spots. I've been coming here since the 70s and it is still a favorite pizza place.

Best pizza in Northern California!! Pool tables and jukebox music and the old building give it a feel like the pizza parlors I grew up with!
One dollar per rack in pool. That's like 1960's prices! There's a bar connected to the pizza parlor, but it's laid-back, and they have multiple screens for watching sporting events. I don't drink but I have sat in and watched a few from time to time. The owners and the employees are very cool! I highly recommend whether it's dine-in or takeout, again, emphasis on this is the best tasting pizza around!!

Pizza here is second to none!! The atmosphere is like I remember pizza parlors growing up back in the 60's and 70's. The staff are friendly, and they have a Jukebox in the main dining area with lots of really great classic rock, country and more! Downstairs they have two pool tables for $1.00 per rack. Can't beat it!! Highly recommend!

Every visit has been pleasant. Friendly staff and really, really good pizza. It's also not overly greasy.
Old fashioned inside, with the old arcade still intact. (Also working jukebox)

I used to come here a lot and remember the pizza as being delicious. I was visiting family, and we decided to see if it was as good as we remembered. It was!! The pizza is so good and the service is great.

Best pizza around, for now on we will be ordering Spankys. Real authentic pizza. It was not grease like some of the franchise competitors , fresh ingredients and an all around good vibes and environment. We will definitely be placing more orders soon👍💯

Best tasting Pizza!! Very nostalgic atmosphere. Reminds me of childhood pizza parlors back in the 60's and 70's. Juke box in main dining area, and downstairs has 2 pool tables, $1.00 per rack, and a few old school video games. Music from juke box plays downstairs as well. .25 cents per song. Love this place! Management and staff are very cool!!

Local Hot Spot for excellent tacos and burgers. The bar has a “ Cheers” like feel comfortable, friendly and where everyone knows your name. Great beer and wine bar. My favorite place to eat lunch!

Little hole in the wall place with amazing food! Staff is very outgoing and friendly. Love the little rascals pictures in the restaurant and all the old sports posters in the bar. Great place to go to relax, have a good conversation and eat really great food.
