Cute little pond for fishing, very short walk from the parking lot. Can catch the bigger fish with the right bait/hooks, our 3 young kids were each able to catch the little ones with worms. Thankfully nobody left disappointed. There are also trails for walking/biking.

This is a beautiful little pond. There's a $5 parking fee to be cognizant of and a short walk to pond if you're into fishing or just enjoying the scenery. I only caught black crappie and a turtle but I'm guessing there's probably a few bass and bluegill in there as well. You don't have great access to fishing this pond other than from the dock from what I could see walking around the pond. Highly recommended

Incredible vision and fish

This pond is absolutely incredible!! It has a million turtles and some snapping turtles, blunthead minnows, shiners, tadpoles, largemouth bass, spotted bass, bluegill, crappie, and ive actually seen a 2 foot carp also (ive never seen catfish or pumpkinseed but rumor has it that there are some.) when the sun shines and is not behind clouds, you can see 15 feet out in the water!! But it is only about 4 feet deep. Every time i go to sibley pond ive seen this 28 foot largemouth bass!!! Also fish here are very smart and wont bite at your bait UNLESS (and this is only for the bass) you give them live minnows. Hook them in their chest and drop them right by a bass, and the minnow will swim and the bass will eat it and get hooked!!

Overall i give this a 6/5 rating😏😉

The pond is clear and there is small fish and plant life you can see. There are also extended hiking trails, bike and no-bike paths in the park.

Lots of trails nearby and a great place to go hiking, biking or on a walk with your dog. It also connects to the trails around the Chattahoochee and there is ample amounts of shade from the sun. The trails are all pretty easy with little incline, so very great for beginners or someone wanting to get out and enjoy the day without having to put forth too much effort. Only downside is if you park in the parking lot, the lot is fee-based and they have an outdated way of collecting money - they want you to use cash and put it in a box. Who carries cash anymore besides people up to illegal things? There is plenty of parking in neighborhoods nearby to circumvent the impossible parking situation in the main lot.

Sibley Pond is a beautiful pond surrounded mostly by trees the images of which can reflect very beautifully on the pond water service. It is not very far from parking lot of Sope Creek Unit of Chattahoochee River National Recreational Area and is part of it. Few trails passes by this pond.
