Amazing!!! What a gem! Nothing like it around. Drinks are creative and very good. The ruban egg rolls app is amazing. My favorite thing is the homemade potato dill salad. So good. Oh and the homemade Guinness ketchup! Pricing is great too. Very affordable. Second time there and it lived up to the expectations.If you haven't been you are missing out! Get over there and check it out.

Madden’s Irish Pub is hands down a true gem in Elroy! The atmosphere and great vibes from the owners made my wife and I feel welcomed and right at home, especially their stories about the history of their building to that of the surrounding area. Great selection of regional and Irish beers to choose from, along with everything from basic drinks to specialty cocktails. And I must say their Reuben sandwich was scrumptious and will for sure lure me back for more, along with the special secret sauce for dipping fries and chips—yum! A nice game room compliments the pub. We will for sure be stopping back in every time we pass through town. I highly recommend Madden’s to locals and travelers alike. Thanks for the hospitality!

My sister and I were first timers yesterday! We struggled to decide what to order as everything sounded so good. We settled on the Rueben egg rolls and a burger…. Gosh I wish I could remember the name of it. Either way both dishes were delicious! The side of dill potato salad was to phenomenal. We scanned the drink menu and found an Irish mule, what a refreshing experience. Can’t wait to go back and try their other food and drink options.

This was my 2nd time here. I had Irish Egg Rolls and Bill's beans. Both were good, but the egg rolls were especially delicious! Others in our group had fish and chips, and one had a reuben.
My previous time here, I had the Emerald Isle Poutine, which was also fantastic. I very much enjoy conversations with the owner when he has time.

Always looking for new places for Friday fish diner. 2 weeks ago we found Maddens. It was the Best. The owner asked us how we heard about the place & seemed very interested. We have plans to head down tomorrow night with 2 other couples,because they heard us bragging up the place. I hope you can accommodate the 6 of us. By the way, we were bragging up your food,not the drinks. I am very saddened from what I am reading and you are acknowledging. A lot of Friday nights it's papa with his grandson. Too bad he will not be able to enjoy your great food. I still give you full 5 stars & hope you make can make some wise decisions about your future patrons. Wishing you the Best.

Madden's Irish Pub is a gem just off Main Street! From cloth napkins, beautiful lighting, fantastic drinks and phenominal food you will not be disappointed! The history of the building and surrounding area was a fun bonus while talking to Chris the owner. Anna, his wife and amazing chef, gave us a tour of the gorgeous outside seating, quaint inside area with fireplace where they host live musicians and second bar area where overflow can spread out and relax. Hands down some of the best drinks and corned beef we have had in a long time. Our night ended with homemade bailey's cheesecake and a promise to return with friends! Amazing food, fun live music, yummy brews, good vibes!! I've been to many an Irish pub and this one is really something special! I can't say enough about the incredible, mouthwateringly delicious noms! You can't got wrong with legit anything! Unique brews AND live music?! We'll definitely be coming back! Great owners opening a nice local place in the area. Nice selection of drinks and food... even offering non-alcoholic options! Highly recommended.

I can't say enough great things about this spot. My girl and I came to town to ride our bikes down the Elroy Sparta trail. After riding for 76 miles we were starving. Luckily we found that this place was still serving food. First off, the service was outstanding. The server and cook were very kind and hospitable. The food was excellent and the cheese curds mouth watering. The cold Guiness on tap truly hit the spot. Do yourself a favor, if you're in town and looking for some savory food in a relaxed atmosphere, stop by this place. You won't regret it.

We were looking for a place for dinner and I was surprised to find an Irish Pub in Elroy, WI - it was such a wonderful meal! My husband built his own burger with fresh tomato and lettuce and I had the island burger (fish sandwich) with coleslaw that was crisp and seasoned just right. Highly recommend and we will be back for sure! Friendly staff too, very nice place to get a beer and a great dinner!

Wonderful pub! Good people, good food, and Guinness on tap! You can't go wrong. So far my favorite sandwich is their Paddy Melt. Certainly worth a visit (or several)!

Great food and drinks Quick service, home-made food and deserts. Corn beef ruben and egg rolls are delicious. Very personable owners. Highly recommend. We will be back often I hope.

Friday night fish and chips are fantastic. Great service and the cheese cake is to die for. Thank you for a great dinner.

As locals we try to patronize the businesses in the area. Tonight we went to Maddens for supper. We were not sure what to expect and thought we’d end up only getting drinks and have to go somewhere else to have supper. We ended up eating supper: corned beef, garlic mashed red potatoes, carrots. Plus we had appetizers. It was unexpected and very good. The menu is limited, but that didn’t matter to us. We will definitely go back.

I had some delicious corned beef with mashed potatoes and glazed carrots that were absolutely delicious! Washed down with a freshly tapped Guinness and finished with some live Irish music!

One of my absolute favorite places in the Driftless Area. A true local gem reborn through generations. I love this place.

Absolutely great experience all around. Friendly people and really great food and drinks. A diamond in the rough in Elroy!!

Ate there a couple weeks ago. Atmosphere was great and food was even better. Stopping again this week.
