The food here is absolutely fantastic! The burgers are filling, not greasy, super fresh ingredients. The French fry seasoning is out of this world! Cannot wait to try the tacos! I can't decide if the food or service was better :). Thanks for making our dinner!

The birria tacos are delicious. Fries have a unique seasoning that makes your mouth water. Definitely worth stopping for if you are passing by. Kinda in the middle of nowhere, but really good food! Updating to 5 stars cause their birria set the bar so high.

Perfect lil road side joint! Giant (we had to share) pork tenderloin was delish... Food was fresh and hot, service was friendly and quick and if you're a fan of blackberry please get the purple shake!

The best fish fry I've tasted! Friendly service and loved outdoor dining. Did I mention they have the best French fries? Highly recommend.

The location is not far off of I-4 and has a great country feel. There are three picnic tables out front but it looks like most folks swing by for take out. The food was fine and the shakes were tasty. Currently with inflation eating out is expensive and I found the prices put a damper on the experience. If we had done without the milkshakes it would have been better they are quite expensive for the serving size. The service was fast and friendly. Overall a great pitstop for our travels between Tampa and Orlando.

We were so happy when The Purple Pit Stop opened up. They offer a variety of great food options that we’ve never had in our small town. The tacos are my absolute favorite and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Now they serve breakfast too! 🙌 If you haven’t tried it yet l, you need to. Oh and did I mention they make their own ranch 🙄. That’s my jam.

One of our family favorites in Polk City! The food is amazing for both breakfast and lunch. The price is worth it, you get a pile of their yummy homemade food! They keep it clean inside and out!! But, the best part, it’s the people!!! They are friendly, always busy to get orders out on time, they know us by name and treat us like family! I recommend them to everyone I know, not just because of their food, but because they are good people who will always do what is right to provide the best customer experience.

It was popping on Friday night! Got the purple shake and the fish sandwich for a celebration dinner. It was delicious. Will be coming back

This place is amazing!!! The food was awesome, and the service was fantastic. Everyone (even the people in line) was so friendly and really enjoyed just slowing down and enjoying time together. 100% recommend getting anything from here. Everything we had was great.

So we pass this place every day just about and finally decided to stop by and give it a try. We had the beef tacos and the chicken tacos. We also did an order for popcorn shrimp and the bacon bbq fire burger. Each meal comes with fries and let's just say we have enough for dinner. We also ordered a root beer shake and Pina colada shake amazing it's something different. The sauce was placed on the side and the young lady gave us a heads up on the sauce being very spicy and having ghost pepper in it. Lucky for me I love spicy. We will be back for more. I have no complaints I would suggest when u do sauce on the side a half of cup will be enough (sorry I hate to waste)

Visited the Purple Pit Stop for the first time and had the shrimp and fries. Food was made to order, hot, crispy. Yummy loved the hot food. My daughter had the bacon burger and milkshake, truly enjoyed it. The burger was big, fresh and delicious as well. Will definitely visit again, highly recommended.

OMG everything about this place is amazing!! Found it cutting through the central part of Florida.. we will definitely detour and make a special trip back through here just to get everything we got again!! The flavor of all the food was amazing and so tasty!! That purple shake was sooooo yummy!! 😋

Wow!!!! Verrrrrry good tacos!!! Alway past this place going to and from work and decided to try it out today. I was shocked/pleasantly surprised when I opened the plate and saw my food. Presentation and portion sizes were great right off the top! Alot of places load you up to compensate for the flavor of the food but the flavors in this stuff were great!! I'll definitely be back. Staff was great , very hospitable and attentive. Prices are fair so be sure to tip these guys. Not many small places with good service left to eat at these days. 10/10 for this place.

Tried the famois Birria Tacos for the first time, and I've never had a better taco in my whole life, hands down. The tacos, fries, and mac n cheese bites were great. I'm so glad I found this little hole in the wall. DEFINITELY will be coming back with friends and family.

Very nice and polite. Food was off the charts. You can tell they care. Everyone is right about the fries. They should sell the seasoning as french fry seasoning and I bet people would line up to buy it out of the window. Great place....

Best burgers and shakes hands down! Have known Gina and Mike for years and trust me, their food is worth the wait! Don't forget a brownie.

We stopped by on the way to the butcher and all the reviews were so right! The tacos were amazing and so was the burger! Wish I lived closer I was to full to try a shake!

The sweetest staff ever, food is absolutely worth the price (for the comments saying that they might be overpriced, they aren’t) and they are fast with their orders. Discovered them in 2016 as a food truck, I expected to see them at the Food Truck Rally in lakeland this year but when I didn’t see them I actually drove all the way to Polk City to come see them again. Worth every bit!
