Vision Tech Optometry Center

What a pleasant and wonderful experience dealing with Vision Tech Optometry has been. From making the appointment to 'setting' for the glasses. Dr. Rodammer and his assistants took a great deal of time to test my vision, and just as long to explain to me what was found; being able to look at images of my retina as they explained what was found was quite helpful. The examination I received today was far more comprehensive that the previous three examinations from a local, but large optometry group. Working with Lori for the measurements for new lenses was an excellent experience. She took plenty of time to explain everything to me and to take correct measurements. The office was clean, everyone was punctual and polite. Five stars to Vision Tech Optometry Center, they have earned it, and my future business.

Katelyn was wonderful. And Dr Davis was professional, kind and explained to me in detail all the results of my tests. She also discussed my concerns in a manner I could understand. She also was very nice and personable. Can't say enough great things about Vision tech.

I wish I could remember names. Of course Dr Davis was right there explaining and sharing the test results. Very professional and caring at the same time. The young lady that did the test was also very professional and caring at the same time. Explaining what each test was for. Listened to my concerns. Assuring all my needs would be addressed and taken care of. I told Dr Davis she was a ray of sunshine in my day. Said she would pass my feelings along. Just a very enjoyable visit.

I moved from Richmond and needed to find a new eye care provider. I couldn’t be more pleased with everyone at Vision Tech and the quality of help they provided! Everyone was friendly and welcoming, made it a very easy & relaxing experience going into a new place. Caitlin has amazing energy and guided me through the pre exam making it very comfortable. Dr Davis is marvelous, incredibly knowledgeable and gave me more information on the condition of my eyes than I have ever previously received. All of this while being understaffed that day due to circumstances beyond their control. I’m very happy I chose Vision Tech!

This entire office is fabulous...from the friendly reception desk to the engaging tech to the knowledgeable, caring Dr. Davis. Dr. Davis took more than 30 minutes to walk thru each of my tests results and explain everything thoroughly. The personal service at Vision Tech is excellent. I will be coming back year after year!

Dr. Davis always takes the time to explain things and wants only the best for my son. She has been so helpful! The staff are also super friendly and nice to me and my children. And we can’t forget Bunni. She is the best optician!

I have been going to Vision Tech even before Dr Davis was there. She and the whole staff are fantastic. After moving almost 2 hrs away I still go to her. Her knowledge and concern for her patients cannot be beat. I highly recommend Vision Tech.

As always, I received a comprehensive eye exam, including a peripheral vision exam, glaucoma screening, visual acuity tests, and a discussion and review of my contact lenses. Test results are always shared with me, including graphs of any changes over a given period of time. I always leave knowing what was done, what the goals are for future visits, and given the assurance that I can call if I should experience any unexpected vision changes between now and my next appointment.

July 23rd appointment: Kaitlyn did my tests today and she is so personable and professional while doing my glaucoma test and doing my scans. Dr Davis did the rest of my exam and she always explains things to me. Next month I go back for a regular exam. I highly recommend this practice.
Update: 10/21/23 Dr Davis did my follow up exam from my surgeries a few weeks ago. Once again a thorough exam and I am so glad she had me do these surgeries.
Dr. Davis is wonderful and very patient and knowledgeable. She always makes sure you understand what is happening and what changes you have with your eyes. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. Carrie who does a lot of my testing is great and is extremely helpful and patient, too. Very thorough exam.

Such a great place for an eye exam and such friendly staff! The technician was friendly and carefully explained every machine she was using. Dr. Davis was so attentive and explained everything to me in an understandable way. The optician helped me pick out frames that fit my face well and was so helpful! HIGHLY recommend!

I was very concerned when after cataract surgery, my eye became clouded. Dr. Rodammer worked me in quickly to ensure my eyesight was not jeopardized. What I have is treatable and I can now rest easier. Such a fine facility, with all the latest technology. Thank you all for helping me! This is my eye doctor.

I love DR. MARK D. RODAMMER​​​​​​​! He is the kindest man and takes his time explaining everything to you! The whole practice has the nicest people and I am so blessed to have found this practice! I have full faith in Dr Rodammer and his staff!!

I have been to the big box eyewear factory. They do an semi-adequate job but I always felt like I was just another number in an assembly line with the non-smiling employees who seemed pressured to produce. So when I was told I had to wait 6 weeks for an appt, it was time to make a change.
I happily had the opposite care from Vision Tech. Not only did I receive a thorough lens fitting, I received a very comprehensive eye exam, including eye photos as well as an exclamation of the condition of my eyes. This part was covered by Medicare. At my age it is important to check for several hidden eyes problems (something that was only briefly done by One Eye). The employees were wonderful. They seem like a happy lot too. The quality of my treatment from exam to purchase was worth the extra bit of money . Please see them! Your eyes will thank you!!

Very professional and even more thorough in her exam. Did not seem in a hurry to rush to the next patient which has not been the case for me in the past. Dr. Davis is very professional with a very pleasing personable personality.
