Memorial Park

We were recently in Okoboji for a family vacation and the last couple years we have always been sure to make a stop at this splash pad! It is set up well for kids of all ages and is situated between two jungle gyms, so there are great options! The splash pad itself is accessible for those of all abilities, but the playgrounds are not. More shade would also be great for grandparents and parents watching their kids, but we love coming here and will definitely be back!

Memorial Park is a great friends or family destination to cool off with the Splash Pad being the place to be. Overlooking East Lake Okoboji with 2 shelters, playground equipment, picnic tables and the centerpiece Splash Pad!
Our grandson had a great time and found new friends. He especially liked the rotating bucket drop on a hot summer's day!

This park is amazing! There are two playgrounds for the kids and it has a good set of swings The playgrounds are surrounding a small little water playground that has plenty of fun features that spray water in a lot of fun different directions

Super nice park with lake access. There are shelter houses and playground equipment which make it really nice for family gatherings. Grills are on site also. Fountains at the playground to cool off make it really nice for the kiddos. Check it out!

My daughter loved this park. It was fun and it was a great idea to have two separate play sets. One for younger kids and one for older kids.

A great park for the little ones. Slides, swings, climbing and more plus a large, interactive splash pad.

No pics but this park is amazing. It has almost everything you are looking for in a community park...toddler and older kids play areas, covered pavillion, great splash pad, and fabulous views of East Lake Okoboji. Could use a picnic table or two and benches in the shade otherwise you can make a full day of it here.

This is a great park with plenty mix of sun and shade, plus views of the lake right from the covered picnic area with unlocked bathrooms!!. It has two sets of playground equipment, one set for older kids and the other for younger kids. Really enjoyed stopping here to let the kids burn off some energy from the long car ride.

Fantastic playground and splash pad! This is the best splash pad we have ever been to. It has a lot of features, all on at the same time & for a lengthy amount of time before starting it again.

The playground equipment looks brand new. There are two areas of age appropriate equipment with multiple slides, climbing walls, ladders and more.

great shelter house and kids splash pad

The splash pad if every kids favorite place to go in the summer. The playgrounds are in excellent shape. The whole park is kept very clean. Right next to the lake makes for wonderful views.Great shelter house with very nice bathrooms perfect outdoor birthday party location for the kids or family reunions.

My boys (aged 2 and 4) loved the 2 different play systems! The splash pad wasn't running yet (off season when we went) but there was more than enough for them to do even without that) Views were great and they have a spacious and handsome covered picnic area!

This park is a great place to take children. They have great water playground and regular playground equipment. Our children loved it. They have a public use grill and a covered sitting area for getting together with friends and family.

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite places in town. One can sit still on a bench overlooking the lake, take your kids to the splash pad or playground, have a picnic, or simply enjoy the well placed aesthetically pleasing surroundings.

My kids would pick this park every time if they could. They love the playground equipment, swings, and splash pad. I love that you can see the lake and they have clean bathrooms! Win win for all of us!

A great playground, splash pad and green space as well as shelters for picnicking!! With lots of shade trees as well. Definitely worth a stop when in the okaboji/spirit lake area!!!
