Willow Grove Farm

Anna and Louise were fantastic!! We arrived without reservations but that didn't matter to them...they got right to work getting the horses ready to ride!! It was an awesome experience of a lifetime!! Thanks again Anna and Louise🏇

My niece & I did the horse riding experience for her 16th birthday yesterday and it was everything we could have wanted and more! The horses were absolutely beautiful and truly gentle giants! Our guide, Kelsea, was amazing and answered all the questions about horses I could think of along the ride. We were even able to feed the horses carrots that we brought (with permission) after the ride. We also got to see all the other horses after our ride was over. Wish we had saved some carrots for the rest of them! Wonderful experience and would highly recommend. Also beautiful scenery along the way!

Lovely farm!! This is a must try for all who pass thru Northern NJ. This Clydesdale farm is very well-kept and the horses look healthy and happy. They can accommodate larger riders as these are draft horses. My son took a lesson with one of the trainers (Anna) and he really loved the experience. They’re knowledgeable, kind and accommodating. He really did learn a lot with his lesson and then was taken in a complimentary tour of the farm 🥰😍what a wonderful place and a lovely drive as well on the way.

So much fun - a really great unique experience! These horses are gentle giants. Many with us were begginer riders and all had a great time. The farm is so beautiful and owners are great hosts. It's a must do.

This is the best barn on the planet! I have ridden at many many barns, but nobody takes as good care of her horses as Morghen. She truly understands what these guys need to be happy and healthy, and puts the safety of everyone involved first. They have wonderful staff and regardless of your experience level you will have a wonderful time here.

I just purchased my horse from Willow Grove . Morghan was amazing, the horse was EXACTLY what I was looking for and 100% what she described to me before I made the drive to NJ. Very knowledgeable and Honest which isn’t always easy to find . Luna , now known as Athena will be loved . Thank you !

What a great time my wife and I had. The horses are cared for and healthy. The people are kind and generous with conversation. I'm a novice rider and I felt safe at all times. I highly recommend Willow Grove Farm.

Fantastic stables! Took a trail ride there last weekend and had an excellent time with a great group of riders, rode Benny who was a young 4yr old horse but very quick on commands and a joy to ride. I will most definitely return again!

Wow! I do not have enough nice things to say about my experience with Willow Grove Farm. My fiancee and I wanted to have a clydesdale horse at our wedding. We contacted Win, the owner and set up a time to come and meet the horses. He was so lovely, kind, and knowledgable. After we went, we coordinated with his daughter, Morgan. We went a second time and picked out the beautiful boy, Remus. Win and Morgan were top notch and incredibly accommodating to all of our needs!! When it came time for the wedding, they were nothing but professional and kind. They arrived early to set up and make sure everything went according to plan. Remus was wonderful, we got to take pictures with him then had him set up at the ceremony space where he was able to greet our guests. Lets just say he was the highlight of the day! I HIGHLY recommend Willow Grove Farm. Not only are the knowledgable and professional, but its evident that they care about their horses. We can't wait to go back and visit!!!! I travel from Suffolk County, Long Island multiple times to ride the fabulous Clydesdales with a most talented trainer/owner, Morghan. This is a very special barn and offers trail riding, lessons and carriage rides in scenic Long Valley, NJ.. Beyond happy to have found this amazing draft horse farm along the Raritan River and I can't wait for my next adventure there.

Great place to take a trail ride on a Clydesdale. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

The horses are WELL cared for. Facility is clean and even the porta potty was clean. Our tour guide was excellent and so friendly and loved hearing her accent. I absolutely will come back here again and again! Worth my hour drive! Saddles were super comfortable as well. 10/10!

Definitely booking my next ride soon and possibly will take dressage lessons here.

What a great day! We did Christmas with the Clydesdales and the entire family enjoyed every minute. Owners could not have been more welcoming and the girls that lead the ring could not have been any more patient and helpful. On top of that, all the horses were obviously very well cared for! Definitely worth going to visit!

My husband and I went yesterday for a trail ride and to discuss taking a team driving lesson. Meghan took us out for an hour trail ride, it was great. The area was beautiful with the leaves turning and the river in view. Both my husband and I are riders and had horses. These horses are truly “Gentle Giants”. Their movement is graceful, they are in excellent condition, groomed before and after riding. As previous horse owners we know what to look for and believe me, these horses are cared for. We are going back for another trail ride soon. If your looking for an incredible adventure, or just an hour spent with these beautiful horses, Willow Grove is the place to go. This stable is amazing, everyone is extremely friendly and makes you feel comfortable upon arrival. The horses are gorgeous gentle giants. The staff makes you feel as if you have been there riding for years.The trainers are very knowledgeable and amazing instructors. Adult classes are welcome. Would recommend this place for anyone to visit/lesson/trail ride from children all the way to adults! In love!!

Very quaint and fun outdoor experience. I noticed the farm is mostly ran by women, I think that’s pretty awesome. They have very beautiful horses, very friendly ones too. It’s worth the trip, and the vistas are cinematic!

Christmas with the clydesdales was so much fun! Beautiful setting and the cutest reindeer I ever saw!
