Very impressed with the staff. I was greeted at the door. Everyone was very professional and attentive to my family member and the person sharing the room with her. Upon my departure I was asked if there was anything my family member required. Also loved the tight security and that staff has to let you out when you leave. I think it’s very safe for the patients as well.

i have been employed here for 25 years and can honestly say that I love my job and I love it here. We strive to provide excellent service to our Residents and think that our team does a great job. If your loved one needs short term or long term placement Marrero Healthcare is definitely the place to be. We are family and treat the residents like they are as well.

The staff is very friendly but when we go to see my grandma, 80, her TV is routinely unplugged and the brand new blanket we gave her two weeks ago wasn’t on her bed and was still folded just how we left it, only it was stored in the closet. She was using a thin hospital blanket and was complaining of the cold at night and that her TV wasn’t on and she’s always bored the whole time we were there visiting her. She has dementia so she forgets what she is saying in the middle of her sentences and is very easily distracted and engaged. She does not know anything about technology anymore and was just staring at a wall when in the hallway when we arrived. The staff is wonderful and I realize understaffing is a problem at most homes like this, but I expect my grandma to at least have her TV on and a blanket on her bed when I come to visit. Thank you.

Update: My concerns were addressed and now my grandmother is so much happier. She was given a new roommate who she is a much better match with and the staff goes to great lengths to make sure she feels safe and comfortable. Now I don’t need to worry constantly if she’s calm and taken care of and it’s a big relief. Thank you for taking my concerns seriously and addressing them. I really appreciate it and if my grandma could tell you herself I’m sure she would!

Excellent care takers extremely clean environment

The workers were very nice and welcoming.

All the staff at this clinic are so very nice and friendly, they made me feel so comfortable and safe . The Doctors were also was so knowledgeable and friendly . And when I say service with a smile, that’s exactly what I received. I am so very happy with the staff that I wish all the doctors visits at Oschner’s will be the same.

Really only took the tour so far but the facility was well cared for and so seemed the residents. Miss Sheila the director was very curtious and knowledgeable. She was not pushy and answered all my questions and eased my mind .

I appreciate everything that Marrero Healthcare did for the Housekeeping staff when we were evacuated at Many, La. This is a very nice place to work at. I recommend that you bring your loved ones here as well.

The facility was clean.
Patients were enthused to see us. Participants in song's and prayer.

Nurses and aide help us get into building and leaving.

Great place to work i have been here for 35 years. Dietary works hard to provide home cooked meals to our Residents. I take pride in my meals to make sure the residents recieve proper nutritional intake. Marrero healthcare-s dietary staff ROCKS!!!!

It’s the one place that I’ve never felt so welcome. Come in and go on the care they give is unbelievable very unique to each individual. Great group of people working together.

Marrero Healthcare is located on the West bank. If you are looking for long term care and / or rehab, then this is the hidden gem, on a long list of nursing home providers. Yes... you can ask what makes them any different than any other facility that you have inquired about?? What??? I'll tell you...compassion. Staff are passionate about the care of your loved one from all departments, Administration to Laundry / Housekeeping - will go above and beyond to provide quality of care on an exemplary level to all residents. Sounds too good to be true...it is. Feel the love. Call for a tour...this is the facility for your special person....hands down...come see for yourself.

Marrero Healthcare strives to provide the highest guality of life for the residents that live there. The facility is clean and does not look or smell like an institution. The staff makes it fun for the residents so they are not just “put there and forgotten”. The facility administration is continuously providing educational opportunities for the staff to provide the best care possible for the residents.

I have been here for several years and it is now my home. The staff is great and helpful and more like family. Would definitely recommend to any one who needs long time assistance.
