This is not only one of the coolest record stores on Magazine, but this place is also on the historic register. This old Woolworth building has ties to the civil rights movement here in New Orleans, such a great history. You can find music here to feed your soul (as Momma Peaches puts it) great books, gifts, and so much more. They have such amazing record collections of music artists as well. Please check them out, and say Hi to Momma Peaches, she is a gem in this city.

I can’t even begin to say how amazing this place is and how much Ms Peaches has helped so many musicians and artists in the community. Some would not even have made it mainstream without Peaches promotions.

I love the experience and the history, the prices are just right for a local small business. So many options to choose from. Peaches will always be my go to for vinyls, trinkets, gifts and memorabilia! So much history it’s like a museum so sometimes I just go in there to vibe. Plus I love supporting women owned small business it makes me feel that I am doing my part keeping mom and pop shops afloat. That is what New Orleans is built on!

If you're only expecting records, this place is a little bit more! They also sell retro music, t-shirts, record players and high-end speakers and other cool gifts.

What an eclectic and funky record shop! Staff was super friendly and easy to converse with. The shop, very east to navigate and just sooooo many cool things to look at. Their vinyl game is on point for sure. Definitely recommend.

You need not like vinyl to appreciate this store, but it sure does help!

If you enjoy the thrill of digging deep into crates, or simply want to find the latest pressing of your favourite artist, then this is a must visit.

Times are strange now, but the right safety protocols (gloves, physical distancing) are in place.

I’m happy to see Peaches be the store where my son bought his first vinyl records.

The crew are friendly, and outgoing - a perfect combination.

Visit. Enjoy.

The service here is unmatched. They didn’t have the record we wanted in stock, but they let us purchase it knowing it was being delivered later that day with no pressure to come back - if we couldn’t make it in time, they were going to ship it to us for free. Luckily, we were still nearby when it got there so we just popped back in. So friendly and kind.

Peaches is the epitome of a classic, longstanding record store: large selection, rare finds section, knowledgeable staff, and excellent merch. I knew a favorite band’s album was released a few months ago and casually asked if they had any. They’d sold through all they had but knew they had a truck coming in soon that had at least one in the shipment. They went above and beyond to make sure I didn’t leave NOLA without that record knowing how tough it would be to get one. Thank you all for such great customer service.

This is a fantastic record store. They have a great selection of records, CD’s, T-shirts, and novelties. The prices were excellent on hard to find items. Speaking with the owners, their love of music and their customers is infectious. I would make a pilgrimage here every time I travel to New Orleans. I highly recommend a visit for anyone that loves cool record stores and music.

This place has a huge selection of music on vinyl, CD, cassette. They also have a lot of cute tshirts, gifts, stationary, pins and stickers. Staff were also friendly.

They require masks and gloves, which they provide so you can flip through the music vinyls/CDs.

Great selection of new and gently used vinyl, CDs, and printed media (posters, etc.). They can order almost anything that is still in stock but not in the store.

No backpacks allowed inside.

Like a musical candy land! I met Ms. Peaches personally and she is beyond sweet, knowledgeable and thoughtful. Great selection of music but also a wide range of quirky books, accessories and memorabilia. Love this place!

Another record store that my son loves. Great selection of everything. Albums, clothing, systems to play your music on, etc. The owner & her daughter are very well versed in the stereo equipment they sell. I had a great experience at Peaches. You can tell the store was converted from an old ice cream/soda shop. Cool history.

This place was so much more than a record store!! Staff was amazing, we spent over an hour in there and racked up a good bill. Will be back next time in NOLA!

Pretty good selection, some things I was looking for they didn't have especially preowned but plenty to look through otherwise. The people that worked there were friendly and I think prices were about par if you compared to other retail stores, you could probably get cheaper online but not by much. Good place to kill a little time and buy a record or two you didn't know you really, really needed.

Holy cow...what a unique place! Extra couple that it was obviously located in an old Woolworths. The counter is still there. And the cheesy knick knacks toys and such add to the atmosphere.
