Chateau De Notre Dame Community Care Center

I'm very satisfied with Chateau my Mom gets great care on memory care unit the nurses the aides and housekeeper are very friendly and helpful and its very clean and it never smells bad like some nursing facilities. I'm so glad I can visit with Mom in her room.

Great experience with the Chateau De Notre Dame; first on the assisted living side, and now on the nursing home side. Exceptional.

The independent living section and Pavillion section of nursing home are nice. Senior staff are very helpful. Most staff aides are very good, but some are indifferent or neglectful towards the residents.

Neglect neglect neglect

Can't wait to get my parent out of here. They are considered a fall risk(getting in/out of bed walking. Today we walk in and my parent is half way on the floor. After taking a few pictures and 30 minutes of trying to get them back into bed a nurse finally showed....and told us that this was the position my parent wanted to be in.

I had to fix the wheelchair that was in their room. Most of the bolts were lose and one of the brakes didn't work. The bed has wheels on them and they were on the floor. I brought this to the attention of the nurse and she said that she doesn't handle maintenance. So I decided to bring it to the front desk and tell them this came off of the bed in our room. One nurse came outer of the room and said that 'those wheels have not baring on how the bed works'. I explained that perception is reality and if things like the wheelchair and the bed aren't getting done (that's in the public eye) what else isn't getting done.

There was also an incident on the night my parent arrived which showed me how unprofessional this place is.

Oh yeah dinner was 'shrimp scampi' which was some angel hair pasta and frozen shrimp.

My clients is staying at this place and the staff is rude they disappear off the floor while working. Takes them forever to get me anything I need for her .its a nice place very fancy and the rehab is working for her but the staff is horrible.
