River’s Edge

River’s Edge is a fantastic restaurant, recently renovated with a wonderful team that's doing an excellent job. The food is incredibly delicious, and the prices are surprisingly affordable. While the drink experience might vary depending on the bartender, overall, I highly recommend this place for a delightful dining experience.

The food was absolutely delicious and portions were huge! Everything tasted super fresh. The waitress informed us that the veggies came from a local farmer’s market! The service was good despite haven visited during a busy lunch-rush. The restaurant had lovely decor, fresh plants all over and was immaculate. My family and I will certainly be returning!

The food is wonderful! Drinks are excellent! overall atmosphere and decor are beautiful…. The service can be spotty and I’ve never yet been offered a glass of water once!! even though I’ve been there more than a dozen times! but the food is good and as long as you don’t expect too much of the service you’re going to be fine.

We were so pleased to see all the renovations that had taken place since our last visit. The food choices were great. We had lobster rolls. Such a pleasant surprise, they were delicious 😋 Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive, as was her helper. Prices were fair. We will be back soon and bringing our friends. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Amazing food, cocktails, and service. Highly recommend the fried chicken, burger, crab cakes, and wings. The atmosphere is relaxing and chic. So happy we stopped in!

I used to go to the Carriage House, but I hadn’t been to River’s Edge since the new owners took it over. The place looks amazing, and the food was fantastic! I had the lobster roll and it was delicious! The best part was sitting at the bar and being served by Olivia, who is the funniest, friendliest, and most amazing bartender around! I highly recommend this place!

Love the renovation here. Good mix of keeping the old and bringing in the new. Olivia and Joel were wonderful conversationalists at the bar and made delicious drinks. The chicken schnitzel was divine. Caesar dressing was a bit too heavy on the mayo and personally I prefer crispy fries in my poutine but the flavor was excellent. Will certainly be back.

Good food, attentive staff, and casual atmosphere.
The menu offers a nice selection of dining options. A little pricey $$$, just my opinion. I would recommend that you give the River's Edge a try..

We actually were looking to eat at another place. Luckily for us the place we were trying to eat at was closed. We had probably one of the best meals ever at the Rivers Edge. Alexandra, hopefully spelt right was great. We had the shrimp and grits, excellent, and the steak sandwich, also excellent. Rarely do I use excellent, but have to. I can't wait to eat there again. Finally got a chance to stop by. Lovely decor and menus look great. Only had drinks so can’t say anything about food. But Olivia, bartender was very informative and fun. So happy to have a new option in the hood. I look forward to trying the food next opportunity. Note: they’ll be doing dinners 7/7 a week after Fourth (tbc).

The decor, the team, music, the food everything is perfect. Delicious food, the poutine of the River’s edge is my new addiction. We all loved the menu and the price are really reasonable, huge portion, we all left with left over boxes. It was time to have a place like that around here. Long life to the River’s edge!!!!

The 3 of us had dinner last evening and the entire experience was exceptional. From the appetizers to the entrees to dessert, everything was expertly and creatively prepared to perfection. Kudos to the new owners, you've really hit a home run my friends.

Amazing craft cocktails, pork chop was one of the best I've ever had. Great vibe and really nice people.

We've come multiple times and every experience had been outstanding. The oysters are fresh, every cocktail tastes fantastic, and we have not been disappointed by any entrees or apps. The duck confit, fried zucchini, and shrimp are stand-outs for appetizers. Cacio e pepper, the steak frites, porkchop (prepared medium), are amazing! I don't think you can go wrong when it comes to ordering here. Would give it 6 stars! It definitely is the jewel of the Delaware. Brunch is great too!

Fantastic new restaurant in Barryville. We Loved the vibe and the food, esp. the chicken schnitzel! The portions are generous, too.

Service was on the slower side — they just opened so probably working some things out.

Wow, this place is wonderful! So happy it opened. The burrata, cheeseburger and chicken schnitzel were absolutely perfect. Service was great, everyone was lovely, and the interior has a great vibe. Can’t wait to go back!

Stopped in for a drink before the Christmas Tree lighting across the street. Best wine selection in the area.

It was an after ski party for the elementary school kids. The food was amazing
