Los Verdes Golf Course

This is a review for the event services at Los Verdes, not the golf course.

Our wedding at Los Verdes, nestled on a stunning golf course with breathtaking ocean views, surpassed all our expectations. The ceremony site offered exactly what we were looking for: a picturesque backdrop of the ocean that made our vows even more meaningful. The reception and cocktail hour areas were beautifully designed, striking the perfect balance between elegance and relaxation, which our guests truly appreciated.

Los Verdes impressed us not only with its scenic beauty but also with its exceptional service and flexibility. They were accommodating about outside food and allowed us to bring in an outside dessert vendor, which made it easier for us to personalize our wedding day. The food provided by Los Verdes was outstanding and received glowing reviews from all our guests. The bar service was excellent, with skilled bartenders who ensured everyone's glasses were full throughout the evening.

During the planning process, Greg was our main point of contact and he was instrumental in making our vision come to life. However, we faced a minor hiccup when Greg left and there was a temporary communication lapse during the transition to a new representative. While this was a bit stressful in the month leading up to our wedding, Los Verdes ultimately resolved the issue and ensured everything was in place for our special day.

One of the highlights of our wedding day was the golden hour photo session at Los Verdes. The views were unparalleled, providing us with some of the most stunning and cherished photos of our entire wedding album.

Despite the initial challenge, we are immensely grateful to Los Verdes for providing us with such a beautiful venue and an unforgettable experience. Our wedding day was everything we hoped for and more, thanks to the venue's breathtaking location, impeccable service, flexibility, and dedication to making our day truly special.

We looked far and wide, and this was by far the best deal in the PV peninsula.

If you're a bride looking to get married at Los Verdes we 100% say go for it. As wedding photographers who have worked here we can honestly say the whole day is an absolute dream from start to finish. Not only does the venue have beautiful, well manicured grounds, but it's incredibly functional and convenient for everyone involved with your wedding.

Some of our favorite features of this venue are their unique ceremony site and newly renovated reception space. The club closes off the nearest fairway to allow couples to get married directly on the grass with a spectacular view of the sunset off the coast. On top of that, their newly renovated reception space is clean, bright and functional. Everything at this venue runs like clockwork!

The staff, location, and grounds make this one of our favorite venues to photograph at and we can't wait to shoot here again!

This is a great public course with 180 degree views of the pacific ocean. Since covid they split the tee off times by 10 minutes and only allow foursomes. The weather is always a balmy 72 degrees so be prepared. The two story range is nice but fills up in the afternoon.

Dubbed “poor man’s pebble” by one of our playing partners, this course really is incredible. Low pressure, muni course that really offers some of the most beautiful views I’ve seen.

Ended up playing here kind of last minute while spending a weekend in LA. Was very pleased with the course, greens were true and quick, views were incredible (especially on the back 9), and of course, weather was perfect.

I’ve seen some complaints about pace; they’re valid. We went off at 15:00 in a group of 5 and were held up approaching on most of the front 9 holes. It sped up on the back through 14, then slowed again and we only played through 16 due to darkness.

If you're looking for a venue with amazing views, Los Verdes Golf Course is the place. As a DJ, this venue was very easy to load in and out of. Event staff and coordinators were easy to work with. I look forward to djing here again.

It's a beautiful golf course but it is not easy to find the tee time. Be patient. Totally worth it.

Don't play this course please, it's way too popular already and the locals have a lock on the good tee times in the morning.

Beautiful views from this public course. It was foggy the morning we played, but still had good views. The course was straightforward and enjoyable.

Great views, tough course but beatiful views. Lots of dog legs and elevation changes, greens run toward the ocean. Nice place to play.

I got my $500 range finder back. Thank you 🤗. I left my range finder with the magnet strip on the golf cart AGAIN. And got it back.
The scenery is beautiful, the course condition is very nice. They have very nice professionals from the starters to cart persons to the proshop employees running the show. Two tiered hitting bays, chipping area with buncker and two large practice putting greens are conveniently located near eachother.

Great value for golf. Beautiful course with amazing views. Excellent practice facility.

Best ocean front course around for under $50...

You wont be disappointed by this golf course. Extremely scenic and great value for the price.

Los Verdes was a beautiful place to have our wedding. The venue coordinated everything very well. Our ceremony was picturesque with an ocean view and the photos that not only we took during sunset, but also that our guests took during the sunset cocktail hour were absolutely breathtaking. We received nothing but compliments from our guests about how beautiful of a location this venue was.

I went there for an evening wedding and reception. View of the Pacific was awesome. Even the surrounding golfers (no kidding), didn't distract from the beautiful outdoor splendor. The sun setting over the wedding party added quite a romantic touch to a beautiful venue.
