Charlie's Restaurant

It is always a wonderful experience at Charlies. The waitstaff work so well together; making the atmosphere friendly and inviting. We have especially had a great experience with both Gina and Diana as waitresses- both remember every detail and create such a family atmosphere!!

I loved the atmosphere, service, and food. I definitely will be going back.

Lemon rice and dill pickle soup are my faves.
Their chicken Caesar salad big enough to feed 2-3 people.

Parking lot was packed but sat right away and every time great service and food!

The prices are reasonable and the portions are plentiful.
I was walking out the door I saw the beautiful dessert display. Sorry I didn't get a picture but I tell you, it's worth it just to go there and have a dessert. I heard they're gonna be so much. Is enough for 2 to 3 meals.

All in all the experience.
Was great.The only problem I had was my hash.Browns were not cooked completely all the way through.They were still a little starchy. But our waiter was amazing The food is a little high.I'm pri would recommend it for small.Get together as far as having a party here.I don't recommend that there's not enough service or enough room.

This is a great family restaurant, with awesome food! Our server Morgan was very kind, and knowledgeable about the menu items. She took great care of us. The food quality is spectacular, and the prices are very reasonable. Their homemade soups are divine.

This was the second time we had visited the restaurant and they did not disappoint. We were pleasantly greeted by Trisha. Warm and friendly personality with a great smile and attitude. Paid attention to detail. Never ever had to ask for anything. She anticipated everything.

I didn't know if she was a new server or a manager covering four tables in the restaurant.

Either way she was fantastic and highly recommended asking for her.

The atmosphere was buzzing with people enjoying their meals and company.

If one had never been here before you have to give Charlie's Place a try you will not be disappointed.

Plenty of parking. Entrance on the Northside of the building. Can enter the parking off of Harper or the south side street.

Meals and drinks are fairly priced from moderate to little bit higher.

I was surprised by how much I liked the food in here, I had the strawberry chicken salad (🍓 🐔 🥗) and it was wonderful, like seriously it was so good and fresh that I'll be certainly getting it again 🤤🤤
The crew was very attentive and the place was a good spot for conversation, lunch, etc.
Overall it was a very good option for the brunch type of thing.

Charlie's always delivers! They have a huge menu and everything is always hot fresh and delicious. The wait staff are always friendly and the atmosphere is very family like and cozy!

Food is the best of any restaurant I have been to in many years.
The pot pie is so good I would come back just for that. The lentils soup was so good I took a pint home with me.
Service was outstanding . We sat near the entrance and that was not a good place to sit. Too much traffic and wind.
Otherwise it was an enjoyable experience

I stop in here to eat when I work out this way. Place is usually pretty busy but you never have to wait. Has great corned beef sandwiches. Definitely recommend. It's a great spot.

Simply the best diner around even more so now that they have a full bar basically. Gina is on point, and her Bloody Mary is on point. Don't miss out. Had a waffle with a side of bacon and a broccoli with cheese omelette and hash browns that came out exactly how I ordered them.

It has been a while since I've last visited this restaurant but what I recall is the food was delicious and did not disappoint! My mother chose to eat here as a small mother-daughter date and she recommended it! I had never heard of this restaurant before and boy, do I wish I did!! Wonderful service and staff, very kind and delicious food. Definitely is a family restaurant and I highly recommend trying this place out if you haven't heard of it!!!😁

Everything was good, they are very friendly and there lemon rice soup was delicious.
I had shrimp kabobs and they tasted great.

We showed up fairly late in the day, about an hour before closing. We had the nicest server and the food was amazing. Large portions. Their cup of soup is actually a small bowl. Veggie soup was really good, not salty at all even at the end of the day. Wing ding dinner was SO GOOD! Prices are low for the amount of food you get. We'll be back for sure. Thank you to the amazing staff!

This is a go to place in the Grosse Pointe / St Clair Shores area. Portions are huge and you have so many choices on the menu to choose from. Personal favorites are the salads and wraps but also very much enjoy breakfast at Charlie's if your looking for good food with a ton of options this is the place to go.

Affordable priced dinners. Had the Lasagna and my guest had the Michigan Cherry Salad (large size). Oh my goodness!! Huge portions...over the top large!!

Very good food. Very clean.

This place is packed for lunch. I ordered a bowl of soup, friend ordered breakfast and the other potato skins. EVERYTHING was really Good.
