HakkaChow - Asian Eats

We eat here frequently because it’s always consistently good. The food is always hot and fresh. You can tell the ingredients are super fresh. Large portions for the money. We always have leftovers and they are always great later. This is a must try if you’re in Winston Salem.

The food was amazing. All of our four orders and two appetizers had superb taste. Our server made the evening memorabile. Definitely will go back.

Maybe 1 in 20 restaurants deserve a rating of five. Very few actual deliver excellence in all three of food quality, service & atmosphere.

The texture and quality of the vegetables was awesome in the mouth. The onions well perportioned and not used as filler.

The sauce left a delicious back hint of spice but not so overwhelming to have fire breath.

Always consistently great food. Their lettuce wraps are out of this world. They also have an amazing selection of mojito options.

Stopped in for dinner and enjoyed my time here. Food came out hot, was tasty, and the service was great. Highly recommend!

Went in for beef bulgogi rice bowl and it was delicious! We started out with hot and sour soup, chicken on lettuce leaves, and sushi rolls. We decided to go for the lunch size and oh, are we glad we did!

The portions are massive! Everything looked and tasted so good! We still had to ask for takeout boxes!

The service is very good and the prices are reasonable. Never a bad dish!

They never disappoint. Honestly, I’ve never tried any of the hot plates other than the chicken lettuce wraps bc I come here for the sushi. And the sushi is absolutely delicious. I always eat at the bar and service is stellar and occasionally the manager/owner comes around to ensure you are happy with your meal and service. See photo, sushi is a work of art.

Great spot! My wife and I went on a Friday night with no wait. Prices were pretty standard, and the dollar off beers made it a great value! Definitely feels like a higher end spot without the high prices.
We got sushi and sides, and the rainbow rolls were fantastic. The fried rice left a bit to be desired but it was only $3.50 so I call that a win.
Other than that, the atmosphere was very elegant and we'll definitely return!

The food is magnificent! Real crab in the Crab Rangoon. The Calamari is always a winner. My 5 year old gets it for her main course every time. The Coconut Soup...🤌🏾 Literally everything I've had is a 10/10. To top it off, the owner comes out to check in how everything was. This place is awesome. Allergy friendly. And kid friendly too

Had a fantastic meal! Didn’t have a thing that wasn’t spectacular, our server was very attentive and the different flavors went so well together

The food was pretty good. We loved the mojitos! Our wait staff was super friendly and prompt. We had a 30 minute wait during the dinner rush at 7pm, but the food came out quick and hot.
Be wary of nut allergies. There are quite a few menu items with peanuts and walnuts in them.

We came here for a birthday celebration.  First, they have lunch specials everyday until 3pm. So,  we all capitalized on that fact.  The birthday girl ordered the chicken lettuce wrap for an appetizer. It's was a large portion and very good.

I ordered the green curry with chicken. The portion size again was great and it came with a good amount of vegetables. I have already been back.

My first visit to HakkaChow was a success in my eyes. After being referred here a few times by friends I decided to give it a try. Atmosphere is great and the restaurant is clean. The food is good and the staff were pleasant. I would recommend giving them a try. Im a huge sushi guy but the Mongolian Beef was probably the best out of the meal. I will be back for a return visit.

This was our first time here, and it was excellent. The food was very fresh and delicious. Service was attentive in the atmosphere was just right. We will definitely come back when we are visiting the area again. We got the poke bowls, but don’t remember the name of them.

My girlfriend loved the food, atmosphere, and service. It's a step up for Winston-Salem. I particularly loved the traditional cheesecake!

My first experience at HakkaChow was amazing, I had some of the best Asian dishes during my dine in. The steamed dumplings were cooked to perfection, and my curry was some of the best I've had.

The only complaint I have was that it took a while for our waiter to take back our dirty dishes. We barely had any room on our table and had to ask them if they could clean them off.

Other than that, we had a fantastic experience at HakkaChow and would come back again in a heartbeat.

The very best Asian food in the area. If you people even knew what this family puts into each and every dish. I've been a Chef for over 23+ years and this is some of the best Chow your likely to find. It's conservative, traditional, yet casual and always delicious. With excellent prices and portions. One of my favorite places to have worked and to eat.

My daughter and I had the pleasure of lunch today and met the most wonderful Server, Joy. Her name matched her spirit and the pleasantries she genuinely exhibited. The food was excellent but the service will be well remembered. Thank You Joy!

Service was excellent! I do recommend reservations tho! They are very busy! Food was fantastic!! Everything we had was fresh, hot & delicious!! Plus the portions are huge!!!! Definitely the best Asian cuisine I have had on a long time!!

There's not Anything negative that I can say about this restaurant! The food is AWESOME Every time and the service is just as good. You get plenty to eat, and I love that they have a shellfish allergy menu! They care about the safety of their customers and assured me that it was safe to eat there! I liked that since my allergy is anaphylaxis! I give this restaurant 5 stars, and I'd give more if there was an option for that!
