The Best Veterinary Clinic in Central Alabama! The fees are reasonable, even surgery. The staff is very professional and the doctors are fantastic. I'll never take my critters anywhere else!

If I could give this place a million stars I definitely would. The whole time I had my girl Vee they did everything they could to keep her going. Constantly checked up on her and went through every effort they could to make sure she was comfortable, I was happy, and she could keep going. She had a laundry list of problems when I first brought her but they took her in no question. After she passed they sent me a heartfelt card signed with individual notes from the whole staff. I truly trust them with any animal I have and now my friends/family have swapped to them! Could not be happier with their services!!

Dr. Parker has taken care of all 4 of our cats with care, and has always been available when I have to email him about my cat's cruddy eyes. He is very sweet, as are the staff members there. They also have some of the best prices around, and I would highly recommend their work. They saved the life of one of my cats a few years back, and I hope they know how much that meant to me. They truly are the best around!

First time client of MAC Animal Hospital. I brought my girl Clementine (7 year old terrier mix) here for a teeth cleaning and unexpected broken tooth extraction. The staff of MAC did a great job of explaining the process, walking me through the charges, and kept me updated after her surgery. They provided me meds, complete copies of her records, and detailed instructions on aftercare. It was very affordable and I never felt like I was being pushed to purchase any unnecessary products or services.

Kudos to the reception team and vet staff for handling such a high volume of clients with ease and attention to detail. Thank you for taking excellent care of my girl! We will be back.

It was my first visit with my fur baby. The lady was nice that I talked to on the phone and also the lady that was at the desk. And my dog had to stay there and two nights due to my husband and I out of town for a short while. And when I picked her up she was ready to go and she seemed like she was fine and the staff told me that she was a good. I will definitely take her back when needed.

Brought my sick dog in, only waited 10+minutes to be called back. Staff was attentive and patient. The vet explained options and clearly explained blood results to me, even adding handwritten notes for clarification. Cost was appropriate and acceptable for services. Will definitely come back with our other dogs, as needed.

Wonderful place. It was like a UAB or Cleveland Clinic for dogs. The entire team loved my dog who had surgery there two weeks ago. We drove from Hoover because our dog's breeder recommended them and now we do too!

This animal hospital is the best there is. I took my little boy kitten in with the thought that there was no hope due to him being very sick and they helped him tremendously. I appreciate every person who works here 💕

MAC Animal Hospital is THE best. We brought our best buddy Jack into the clinic last week for an issue that turned out to be life threatening. Dr. Parker, Dr. Bruhn and all the staff took GREAT care of Jack and saved his life. I appreciate all they have done and the customer service is awesome! They treat these pets if they were their own. Highly recommend this animal clinic with your fur babies!! They truly do care!

We have been using The Mac Calera since 2022. The doctors are good, the vet techs are ok but the real shining stars and the entire reason we love and trust The Mac are because of the front office Queens......

We LOVE Jocelyn, Samanta and Estefani!!!!! Always so kind, great at their job, go above and beyond every single time. They all three run the show. No matter how busy they are everything is handled with speed, grace and a smile on their faces. Ive seen them handle some crazy rude people with a level of patience I cant imagine. My husband loves them almost more then me. And he hates everyone so that says a lot.

The are the face of your business . I hope they get the recognition they deserve! I just wanted to add that they deserve something special. Its a struggle to find good help right now and here you have 3 of the best!!

The doctors, techs, and reception staff are always kind, helpful and patient. They make us feel like family, and like they love our dogs like their own. They are fair with billing, and always go the extra mile. Yesterday I brought in my four week old litter of ten puppies. The tech staff took time and effort to take pics to post on their site and Facebook. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I lost my cat about six months ago and one of your staff members, Saragrace brought me another kitten from the clinic and he is the perfect addition into our family. That was so sweet and I love the compassion. I see such passion in her work. She truly loves animals and people.

MAC has the best staff. They truly care for our fur babies. I was very impressed that Dr. Melissa Morris called me herself to give me a progress report about my 7th month old kitten after being neutered. This is Houston Flyboy Jackson rest after I got him home from his surgery last Tuesday.

If I could give 1,000,000 stars, I absolutely would. My family and I were traveling through Alabama and our dog (Olive) was very ill. The hospital was just 1 1/2 miles off of the exit we just happened to take. There is so much more detail to this story. Just know this, there are actual angels working at MAC Animal Hospital. I cannot recommend them enough. From the time we called to the time we left, every person was so kind. We will never forget their kindness, compassion, and knowledge!!!

I was very happy with my experience here today. It was very affordable for me and I have been struggling since my boyfriend became disabled. Everyone was friendly. The only thing they could improve on is getting rid of the uncomfortable benches.

I came in with my dog a couple weeks ago and I just wanted to say ms. Hailey was absolutely amazing with her she was very gentle and welcoming with my dog and my dog is typically very shy so she was really helpful in calming her down and making the vet experience a lot less stressful.
