Diablo Dog

We've been utilizing services for 2 years now: dog walking, grooming, and have had our dog Cooper boarded several times while away on vacation and have always had a great experience. The service is reliable, communication is good and there is consistency with walkers. The other dogs are managed well and are group compatible. Cooper is always very excited when his 'people' show up and the amount of exercise he receives is super helpful for us as a busy family. 5 ⭐for sure! Happy dog days for us!

We are so thrilled to have found Diablo Dog Walking! We love that our dog gets a full workout at the open space and off leash, her favorite spot. They are very responsive to all requests, prompt with pickups and very affordable. Their staff is absolutely amazing. It is very clear they all love what they do. Our pups have been hiking 3 days a week with Diablo Dog Walking & Training for 6 months now and we love them! All walkers and staff are friendly, even-tempered and knowledgeable. Stella and Dexter are happier and have made many pup friends.

We have been with Diablo Dog for not quite 6 years. Our dog loves his walks and looks forward to them each week. Each week there are photos sent to me of him on his walk. The ability to board with Diablo Dogs when needed is huge as I don't worry about how he is doing. I know he loves his walkers.

Took our doodle in for grooming today with Sydney. We moved to the area recently and were looking for a groomer for our very overgrown boy, and glad we found Diablo Dog. They are very communicative, easy to schedule, and even provided a report card after grooming with the cutest photos! Chewy was done in only two hours, came home with a bandana, and looks fresh for summer. Already booked his next grooming appointment. Thanks Sydney! 🐾

My dog is super-excited about her pack walks with DDW! She comes home happy and tired. I love seeing pictures of her with her doggie-friends. I can tell her dog-walker (usually Tara) really cares about her, and she always wipes her down when she comes home muddy. Two thumbs up!

My dog waits by the door for his walker to pick him up, which currently is two times a week. He knows which days he is coming to go on a hike. My dog is a young energetic terrier that requires a lot of activity, which Diablo delivers. What a difference, happier, loss of weight and increased muscle tone. Finally, he gets to hike with 5 other dogs!

Fantastic company, services, and prices. My dog is a nervous wreck when being handled by anyone else except for Tara. The first meeting tara approached my dog calmly with a softer voice. Sadie wagged her nervous tail and slowly warmed up but was still hesitant. Since the initial meeting sadie is excited to see tara when its time to be picked up. After the services sadie is very calm and relaxed. And i even get a report with photos and you can clearly see sadie soo happy on her excursions. I would give more stars if i could! this is one dope company!!!!

Diablo Dog Walking is amazing. We’ve been doing hikes, boarding, and now grooming for 2 years. The staff is super professional and kind. They send updates, photos, and messages regularly. Everyone in this organization is knowledgeable. My dog was a pup when they started taking him for hikes, and I owe DDW many compliments for teaching him to hike off-leash and training him in other ways as well. Now I can take him anywhere and he’s well-adjusted and well-behaved. My favorite thing is the sense of humor about it all! I get poop, energy level, and eating reports. After his grooming session, I received a whole series of photos, some with adorable backgrounds. The superb customer service makes me feel very comfortable sending my dog for services because I know he’s happy and properly cared for.

We have been using Diablo Dogs for dog hikes and boarding for more than a year and we could not recommend them more. Amazingly dedicated dog walkers take our dog to the nearby trails to go offleash and have fun with other dogs. Our dog gets so excited when she hears the dog walkers pull up to the house. She bounds out to them.

We’ve been with Diablo Dog for over 10 years, with our puppy then (she’s 11 now) and our current puppy (8 months). We have high-energy dogs and they need a lot of exercise, so Diablo Dog Walking has been a godsend to help get energy out. The dog behavior is so much better when they get plenty of exercise and have fun. Highly recommend Matt and his team. We’ve also used them for boarding when we’re away which is super convenient.

Love this Dog Walking company. My mini sheepadoodle really enjoys her off-leash hikes. Before being let off leash for these, she needed to demonstrate good recall. The walkers trained her to consistently return when called. We have benefited as well, as she responds to the 'come' command from us so much better than before she started the hikes. Diablo Dog Walking was the solution to my well-meaning but high energy dog. With their expertise he has overcome car riding anxiety, off leash unpredictably, and spazzing when he saw other dogs. He looks forward to his hikes and waits by the door. Diablo is communicative, responsible, easy to work with and cares about your dog. Their boarding is great too and so easy with pick ups and drop offs. They also facilitate rattlesnake clinics which are necessary for frequent hikers. Thanks Diablo team

Diablo Dog Walking is the best! They do a great job communicating about what they are out doing with the dogs, reporting back anything relevant about my dog, and very accommodating for request. We also love the rattlesnake aversion clinics they put on. I have a lively German Shepard and he would be lost without Matt and Bonnie!

Our 8 year old golden doodle has been hiking 4 days a week with Diablo (Bonni, Matt J., Carlos) for years and we could not be happier. Jackson gets great exercise and loves the hikers and they all do a great job of communicating with me and making sure he is taken care of. Highly recommend!

Diablo Dog Walkers are THE BEST!! i feel lucky to be a client of theirs. The dogs walkers are amazing and my two golden retrievers are always super happy when they return home from an adventure. Also, super easy to use App for communication. 5 stars is not enough!

Our pups always have a great time hiking with John at Diablo Dog! I love getting the photos and detailed updates after the hikes as well.

There aren't many places that do group hikes with pick up and drop off, especially in my area, so I'm super glad I found Diablo Dog! The pups get to socialize while I'm at the office.

Our dog absolutely loves his regular walker, John, and gets so excited when he shows up. John will text us when he has other dogs booked that he knows our dog loves to try to make sure they can walk during the same window. He also buys his own dog coats for the dogs to wear when it’s raining out.

We trust John completely with our dog - he treats our dog like he’s his own. Diablo Dog came super highly recommended from some friends and we are so glad we heard about them.
