Only place in SETX that truly reminds me of NY, NJ Chinese food! It's more authentic then any other place I highly recommend!

China Inn has had excellent selections, flavors and service for several decades. They are definitely the top choice in the Port Arthur, and Mid County area.

Fresh Chinese. Staffs friendly. Really is the best around and they seem to have gotten their portions under control. It’s a lot more vegetables than meat in some dishes but I can’t blame this one restaurant for what the country is going through.

We always order through take out and they always get our order right. Food is always nice and hot. For those complaining about prices going up, it’s not their fault. Prices have gone up for food so of course they’re going to raise their prices. They are still a good price in my opinion especially since everything is made fresh.

We have dined in person and take out for years. We order at least once a month if not more often. The food is high quality and generous. Over the years I have tried nearly every dish they offer. I have never been disappointed. I highly recommend this China Inn (Sam's) to everyone.

Still the best egg rolls in the area. The food is always great dining in or carrying out. The service is usually pretty good and they have great lunch specials.

Best Chinese food in the area... Twice cook pork and China inn chow mein... Egg rolls are top notch as well... Everything they have is perfect...

This is, by far, the best Chinese food we've ever had. We ordered combination fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, chicken and broccoli and beef and broccoli. All were amazing. Seasonings were perfect and the rice was so good. Not greasy! The staff was kind and served us quickly. We will be visiting again next time we are in town.

Today I wanted to some Chinese food so I ordered from Sam's China Inn and if I could give them an 11 star rating I would. The dumplings are fantastic. The sweet & sour chicken is wonderful. The wonton soup is simply divine. The black pepper trio is heavenly. I don't care how much I have to pay in delivery fees for this. Thank you. Thank you so very much. This place is a must. 11/10 will be dining from here again.

Today I ordered from Sam's again & I'm delighted to say the quality is still fantastic. The mushu pork is wonderful & I enjoyed their special wonton soup. 12/10. Will keep ordering from there.

I order from Sam's every two weeks now and I have to say their consistency is amazing. I order my favorite menu items which are the pan-fried dumplings and the special wonton soup every time. Then I try to get a different menu item for myself. I like to try new things. So far, Sam's has never let me down. 12/10. Thank you.

Sam's China Inn remains delightful as ever. They've never given me bland, bad, or under season food. I have and continue to be fan of this fantastic restaurant. Hats off for consistency. If you ever go, I strongly recommend the pinapple chicken, sesame chicken, and the special wonton soup. 14/10.

The place looks nice and clean. Friendly service. Good food. Decent prices. Been here several times good portions all your favorite dishes.

Excellent service as always. Quite a few diners in tonight but still quiet The restaurant is never noisy matter how crowded it gets. Ordered the Pan Fried Dumplings as an appetizer. They were very overdone compared to normal, but surprisingly just as good, in that the dumplings were very crispy almost to the point of crunchy texturally, but the flavor was spot on with loads of filling as well. I may start ordering them that way. Main course was one of my standards...General Tso's Chicken. Done perfectly as usual. You can't go wrong with the General's chicken. I've tried nearly every item on their menu over the years, and with the exception of one bad experience of everything ordered being bland and very under seasoned, this place is consistently good. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a good, quiet sit down meal and excellent service.

My order was taken at the register and we were seated with social distancing . All the food was as ordered and packed in quality to go containers. When you were through you put on your container lids packed up and left. It was great and well thought out.

I don't normally eat lo mein but theirs is awesome and I eat it on a regular now definitely recommend this restaurant customer service is good wait time it's not too bad if you don't want to wait call it in and drive up to grab it.
