Elvira's Cakes

I ordered a custom tres leches cake for my birthday. Absolutely beautiful and tasted amazing!! Will definitely be coming back here and I’ve recommended to my friends/family as well.

This bakery is marvelous. The delightful treats are colorful and spectacular to the eyes. It is a fun place to visit. They have a few tables to sit down and eat. I love that you get to view and pick out the pastries you want. I would recommend that people come here when they have a special occasion to celebrate. Your guests will be jealous with envy when they see the cake you have brought for your event. I suggest that you come by and do some brainstorming for your future parties.

Great selection of cakes pinatas along with food selections, tamales, burritos and tacos. They also do ice cream, coffee and Mexican bread. Parking can be a little tricky on busy days. Best time to go is during the weekdays. They have large pinatas that are $35 for the big ones and $18 for smaller one's and plenty to choose from. Definitely is a great place to grab a bite to eat or do a little bit of birthday shopping for cakes pinatas. They do have tables and chairs to dine in.

Best Mexican pastries in the northeast area. Food is delicious too. Small parking lot. I hate the shady people lingering around the front of the store.

Food is ALWAYS delicious but today fell short on the avocado slices. If they look this bad, please do not add them to an order. Just saying. Lol

My favorite cake is a Tres Leche and my partner searched and searched to find me one for my 40th birthday.
He finally found Elvira's and I couldn't have been happier. The cake was absolutely perfect. The icing was amazing it tasted almost like a mousse. Thank you Elvira's for the amazing birthday present.

Authentic Chicken tamales were delicious! Elvira's has so much to offer! From the beautiful pastries to cakes & flan! And let's not forget the smoothies & coffees! Prices are very affordable! We'll definitely be back!

Got a beautiful and delicious tres leches cake for my mothers birthday. I love that they’re readily available in so many options. We went with vanilla.

Elvira’s cakes surpassed our expectations in so many ways! We had a custom two tiered cake done for my daughter’s first bday that we provided a photo for them to copy. The cake not only tasted incredible but all the fondant decor was made from scratch but looked professional! While we were waiting to pay for the cake we picked ups some breakfast there also. It was some of the best tamales and quesadillas I’ve had since I lived in Texas! Thank you for exceeding our imagination!

I’ve been getting all my kids’ birthday cakes from here for 3 years. It’s always delicious and fresh. I’ve not had 1 bad experience. They also have a variety of pastries as well.

I hadn’t been in the Northeast KC area in several years. My stepdaughter started a new job in the area and we tried Elvira’s Cakes on Saturday, September 2nd. I bought several kinds of cookies which were all delicious! The Empanadas de Piña were amazing…we loved them. We can hardly wait to go back for more of their delicious high quality products. The prices are very reasonable also. Great place!!!

Best tamales I've ever had hands down and I've had allot. Something they do with the masa. It's so flavorful. They serve other hot and delicious looking items like burritos and sandwiches but i can't stop eating the tamales. Fresh bakery with beautiful artisan style cheesecake and cakes. And the taste is on point! Check it out

I can't say enough good things about this bakery. My sisters introduced me to Elviras. Prior to it, I've never really had any Hispanic dessert or cakes (besides churros) and I was blown away by how great this was! I always stop by when I'm in town and have much respect for small business. I hope they continue to do well and thrive! Great place!

Above and Beyond- If You Can Think It, They Can Create It. My friend ordered a cake for my birthday and they clutched up big time over night. Needless to say, this is now my go to spot for cakes and other delicacies. Just Wow!!!
