Safeway

I came in this Safeway location for the first time because it is like only around 3 minutes away from Planet Fitness where I work out. This maket is always one of my favorites; and just like other locations, this one is spacious, clean, well-organized and provides lots of great products. Their food and fruits and vegetables are fresh. Some of their items are a little bit more expensive than other stores but if you take an advantage of using the app and all the deals available in there, you'll be surprised of how much you are able to save and get high quality food almost every weeks. This time the app offered Starbucks deal, only $2 for a grande handcrafted drink and a free Organics popcorn bag (Dont forget to check Special deal and Saturday sampler every Saturday and clip the deals right away, otherwise it's going to disappear the next day).

Staffs are well-trained and able to help me when I needed it. So far so good!

It is very nice and clean supermarket plus Well Fargo Bank, Starbucks, Hoard' sandwich, Pharmacy, flower shop. One stop for many stores. Highly recommended supermarket

The night crew is super friendly and helpful - I usually shop pretty late - and they are open until 2am. They have a wide variety of 50% off items in the back (they do at every Safeway, but this one has a ton of face/body products, vitamins, supplements, otc medicine, snacks and more).

The best Safeway...!! They had lots and lots of varieties of veggies and fruits, they are so fresh..!! Good customer service but the only drawback is long billing lines in peak times. Arranged the items quite neatly. They had instore Starbucks, and Wells Fargo. They even had their own safe way pharmacy. Over all pretty good store.

Had some hot foods available for a late dinner and appears safer to shop at night. I prefer this location when in the neighborhood.

Surprisingly affordable now, with frequent sales. I'm comparing to bigger brands that sell in bulk. Inflated prices everywhere! The food sector is great, 💝 also the pharmacy too! Self checkout for a quick exit. Amazing bakery.
OK, this is news I heard. There's this huge merger happening and prices are going to go up - they're already up. Last trip here, the bill made me wince. 😑

Employees are friendly and there's never a huge crowd. The Safeway at Hamilton Avenue is closer to my house but I'd rather drive further and enjoy my shopping experience.

First time here in a while. Shopping here since Safeway on Almaden and Cherry has terrible service.

Was very impressed the front end check out process. The manager even bagged my 2 shopping carts.

Come here often for their flowers. Super fresh and new ones are put out every morning. My girlfriend loves them!

The young fellow working at the sea food counter was very helpful and friendly. He even showed customers how to download Safeway App to get a digital discount.

One of the best Safeway's across Bay Area for sure. Extremely courteous and helpful folks, who happen to work there. I actually look forward to my grocery haul trip, which I do every Sunday purchasing my weekly items from this store. They have very nicely stacked and fresh vegetables, always properly stacked isles and it's easy to locate what you are after ( snacks , deserts, cooking oil , eggs etc etc) . Definite recommendation for your grocery trips!!!

Had good prices...although many grocery items have gone up everywhere because of our economy. Clean store, helpful friendly people who went out of their way to provide good service.

I personally prefer Safeway over all grocery stores. There's just a good vibe, it's modern but low key, always well stocked, great variety from fruit/vegetables, meats, breads, bakery, flowers and everything in between, not to mention ancillary services. It's a great one stop and never disappoints. Their staff are friendly and accommodating, store is clean, what more could you ask for?

Purchased a balloon bouquet at this location for my daughters birthday. The lady at the counter was so nice and did such a great job. I'd 100% recommend this store to anyone.

Wonderful grocery store. Staff are quiet while putting away load at night. Store has an amazing selection, including over the counter skin and hair care products normally only stocked at pharmacies.

I think this is one of the best safeways in san jose. Some of the other nearby locations have unsafe staff. But not this one!

Great store for essentials. Salad, chocolate, fruits! Very sweet people too. They will come and help you out if you don’t find what you want. Has a Starbucks inside it so you can shop with a coffee in hand! Nice selection, bakery is good too

Great staff. Very kind and thoughtful..they actually saved boxes for my move...their Starbucks inside is off the hook wonderful. Has everything I need. Great place. Hard to find a cart tho sometimes...

I love this store. Great customer service. The employees are awesome and friendly. The store is always clean and the food is always fresh. The deli has fresh and delicious sushi and the bakery has freshly baked goodies made often.

The staff is always very friendly. They don't always have the items I frequently purchase in stock but it's on my way home from work so it's okay. I order online also

For those of you who don't know Daniel James abstract artist has changed locations I am over buy Camden area and this is my new Safeway and I love everybody there for the younger old are willing to help you out and see something you can't find I strongly suggest you go to the deli and have a fresh sandwich fried cheese it's called your Allsburg the miles white cheese but it leaves the distinctive flavor in your mouth Daniel James abstract artists have a great day
