Saltwater Café

The Saltwater Café is a quaint little gem only a few feet away from the ocean. There is lots of outside patio seating, ample street parking, and is still very affordable by today’s standards. For breakfast we had eggs Benedict, 3 fresh bacon n’ egg breakfast bagels, and all complimented with tasty iced Americanos.

What separates this café from most, is the owner ( Tamra ) and her amazing , friendly and very kind staff.

We will definitely be back and comes highly recommended ! 😊

It's a great spot for some great food. Everything looked amazing on the menu, and the restaurant smelled amazing. The restaurant was cozy, and there was lots of outdoor seating, too. Ordered the ceaser salad it was the best ceaser I've had in a long time. Great portions, too! The homemade sourdough was heavenly. Point Roberts gem!!!

I'm pretty stoked about this place because I flew out here, and it's a pretty interesting place to visit without coming through Canada. So any food would probably taste better because of that, but I'm pretty sure my eggs Benedict we're still great. And I had a brownie that was so dense, it was almost fudge, but in a good way.

Super cool and out of the way, a block from the beach you’ll find the quaint little gem. As soon as you walk in. You feel like this is the cool spot I’ve been looking for. Everything about the place is decorated perfectly. For what it is. It feels like your mom is cooking. There’s cocktails, wine, coffee, and everything else you would expect. I had this BLT sandwich. On focaccia bread normally focaccia bread sandwiches suck. But this one. Let me tell you was delicious. The bread was moist. It wasn’t too crispy. it didn’t crumble all over you. it was fresh. Really fresh. Next time you’re in point Roberts. Stop for lunch here. It’s worth it.

Absolutely loved everything about this cafe! I ordered the Cuban Panini twice, and they have a rotating special of the day, which always looks and smells amazing! Location is absolutely adorable, and I loved sitting out on the back patio where I was able to interact with not only the bees a caterpillar, and some of the local crows. This is one of the only locations other than the tavern open most of the year, and watching the owner, she knew everyone's name that stepped inside. Absolutely love the vibe here!! Major variety of different breakfast pastries as well as loaves of bread available for take away, an assortment of coffees and great menu. Looking forward to returning!!

This is a very cozy little place. The bread they serve with their clam chowder is FABULOUS! They sandwiches and bakery items are also quite good. If you're in Point Roberts, definitely pay them a visit.

This little cafe in Point Roberts is charming and rustic. The Avocado Toast was excellent and beautifully presented. Kudos to the young chef! Coffee was hot and tasted really, really good.
Our dining experience there was complimented by pleasant staff and we enjoyed everything. Thank you!

Cute little cafe with excellent food! We had a grilled cheese sandwich and clam chowder soup. The sandwich had sautéed onion and mushrooms in it and tasted so good. It was flavoured perfectly. The soup was very tasty, too. We also had coffee and a cookie and they were excellent. We saw other people having other stuff and they all looked good. Would love to come back next time in town!

Wonderful laid back cafe in Pt Roberts. They had gluten-free bread and the food was very good. Lots of outside seating.

Provided water bowl for my dog. Amazing food, delicious coffee. Excellent customer service. Make some mean drinks there as well. Ceasar is bomb

Great place for a coffee, lunch, and house made baked treats. One of our favourite stops on the Point. Occasionally they have gluten free and dairy free options too.

This amazing Cafe is truly a gem, very cozy and full of seasonal surprises! Was having a winter wonderland treat during my latest visit. Featured here is the Chicken pot pie and Tomato basil soup with Mocha. If you are ever in the Point Roberts area it is a must.

Awesome Panini Club! It's so good to see a good restaurant in Point Roberts open. If you haven't been here this is a worthwhile stop. Nice patio. Staff super friendly.

The food was really good. Huge amount for us, I couldn't finish the Panini and I had with side salad. And I was super hungry! The Cuban Panini is really amazing!!! The place is ok, the staff was nice.

Excellent service, the staff is super friendly and welcoming fair prices, the place is very cosy and beautiful. The food is delicious, 100% recommended! We will visit soon!!!

The Saltwater Cafe is a great restaurant in Point Roberts. I love the clam chowder soup. I just ordered the cup but will be getting the bowl next time because it is that good specially on a cold winter day. Their sandwiches are great. We ordered the Cuban panini and was very happy we did. It is a nice big size and very tasty. We will try the other sandwiches on our next visit.
