El Aguila Dorada

My family came here after having a nice Sunday mass. The food was delicious and so fulfilling! They bring chips and salsa to start off with for free and the chips tasted so fresh and crispy. The Jamaica I ordered was also one of the best Jamaicas I’ve ever ordered. I also ordered the carnitas tostadas and they were very tasty! Definitely recommend and the prices were also very reasonable for the amount of food you get!

Delicious food. Good portions and strong fire drinks. Always slaps whether you order takeout or dine in. Prices are unbeatable too. Only thing is the chips and salsa is mid. The chips def on the stale side.

I order from here often and I always enjoy their food! They always get my order right and include the right sauces. They’re always friendly over the phone and most importantly, they are consistent! You know what to expect because it’s the same every time. Always delicious! Inside always looks clean when I pick up too, huge plus!

Such a great spot been going for years. Dine in or take out you can’t go wrong. Today I ordered chicken fajitas, fish tacos, Avacado salad and a side of fries to go. All very good. Ticket # 514

Yummmy!!! Hubs and I went to dinner here. Drinks were delish and food was goods. We really enjoyed the service and the atmosphere. Cute place for a local date night.

My wife and I were looking for a New Mexican restaurant and Google is full of them. We decided on El Aquila Dorado. First of all the service was excellent and our server was very attentive. The food was the bomb.

I recommend the chicken nachos to start, they were piled high and full of perfectly grilled pieces of chicken. By the time my tacos and my wife flautas came to the table we were already full. The steak tacos were packed with delicious grilled meat and after one I had to get the rest to go. The same could be said for the flautas.

It’s safe to say we have found our new go to spot for Mexican food. The margaritas weren’t bad either. I recommend this place to anyone looking for good food in a nice bar like setting. The bill was about $50 and it’s worth every penny.

Food was delicious and fresh. The platters were a good size for the price. Would definitely order these dishes again.

This is the spot for quality Mexican food. Large and delicious portions, the house Chilaquiles were so good. Will be looking forward to trying other things on the menu.

You'd never guess from when you walk in based on looks alone you'd be served up such a beautiful and delicious meal! The smell is infectious and the food does not disappoint. Service is extremely attentive, friendly and quick! Great recommendations from the staff. They have Wi-Fi for anyone interested in that and a small bar. I can't wait to come back with friends and family to try more of the menu. Everything I ate was so authentic, fresh and full of flavor.

We always get the chicken fajitas. We've had other dishes which are very good but the fajitas are great The red sangria is a great deal. The servers help each other out.

The best Mexican place I have ever been to. I have been coming to this place back when it was a small hole in the wall and watched it grow over time into a fantastic spot.

The food is priced fine and the portions are big. Their steak fajitas is literally a slice of steak cut into pieces and served instead of steak bits and piece like you would get at other restaurants. It's fantastic and I can't recommend it and this place enough.

I do not go frequently to restaurants but I got to know El Aguila Dorada through some friends that loved the place. I like their food and the treatment. I do not miss a chance to take the occasional friends that comes to visit to get a great mexican meal.

The calamari from the appetizer is a must-have.

Sirloin here is top notched. Wow. Just blown away with the food. The the restaurant is just warm and festive. Horchata drink is by far the best one I have ever tasted in NJ. Highly recommended.

Now I've been to both locations the food is really good and authentic ! Definitely will be back ! And you won't be disappointed.

Bayonne’s best new restaurant! Avocado salad with shrimp is the best. Steak fajitas amazing, chicken quesadillas and Hawaiian burger are soooo good! The atmosphere is just what Bayonne has needed for years! So happy someone has figured this out. Shhh don’t tell anyone though.

If you’re looking for a great Mexican place, this is it! Very good food, cocktails are big, service was great, definitely worth a visit!
