Cook Out

Staff is on point. I barely have to check my food here because I know it will be correct. Always a good meal. Sometimes, staff can be a little blunt and to the point, but I don't mind. For ex, my fiance said he wanted a chicken wrap, and the lady replied, "A ranch wrap?" He said no, I want a chicken wrap, and she just goes. "Same thing" in a kind of blunt tone. I thought it was kind of funny, to be honest, and it makes the line move faster.

Stopped by to try this place I noticed was in the old A&W/Long John Silvers building. I was pleasantly surprised by the offerings the had. I opted for the double burger with a side of hush puppies. The hush puppies weren't traditional style, they were more like corn dog batter without the dog. Not bad at all. And for $1 you get a good amount of them. The burger taste just like someone pulled it off the grill at home. Great taste, though a bit small so you might need two if you're hungry. Over all seems like a good place and will revisit again.

Not the most high quality food but good amount for the price and fast service. Would get again.

Burger's are awesome. Real meat doesn't taste like processed food.

Been here a few times, no problem. Grabbed dinner tonight and they accidentally left off the bacon and onion for one of my sandwiches, and forgot to put my hushpuppies in the bag. I went back through to grab a few strips of bacon, and they replaced the entire sandwich, extras and all! Everyone I've interacted with has been so nice. 5 stars!

Their trays are AMAZING! Not to mention they fill u all the way up. And it stays with u for HOURS. The food tastes so good. The milkshakes are pretty great as well. But if they could mix them a little more, they would be so much better. Especially the banana pudding. So yummy. And u can not beat their prices!!

Burgers, done up in several signature ways. Hot dog's, corn dog's, chicken nuggets, fries, onion rings.

Oh, did I mention milkshakes? No? Well, they got them too!

Think college food. Adequate. Gourmet? Naah. Tasty? Absolutely!

The first time I had Cook Out was absolutely phenomenal! So much food for $10!! It's quick and delicious!

The drive through line was quick. The person taking order and money was very nice and asked if I needed any sauce for my corn dogs... That alone created a wonderful experience. Then when I did get to a spot to eat my food... It was so fresh and hot I had to give a review and compliment this place! All too often I have complaints... I'm a very hard person to please!! Hands down this was a great experience! I hope this team gets the recognition it deserves! Corporate don't lose these guys!

The place is open til 4AM. The food could actually suck and it wouldn't matter. BUT IT DOESN'T AND THE PEOPLE ARE HAPPY HELPFUL AND BELIEVE IT OR NOT LOOK LIKE THEY ARE ENJOYING WHAT THEY ARE DOING. My wife is away, and I've eaten there 4 times this week. I might even make it 5. The last two times, the service was horrible, it's partially an Alabama thing. Fast food in this state is all but fast. People are just slow. They got everything wrong, and took forever to do it

Great prices that are retro to Pre-covid. Wonderful food. Try the BLT with extra bacon. One of my favorite dishes. Shakes are real ice cream! Nothing fake in this place. Great customer service too.

Best fast food, jalepeno fries was the best

Went thru the drive thru around 1am on a weekend and they had cars lined up to the road! I assumed it would be a 20+ min wait but to my surprise they cleared the line in under 15 minutes. The food I got was piping hot and fresh made. The drive thru staff had a great attitude, especially considering the rush they were going thru. Kudos to Cookout for exceeding my expectations.

Can't always understand drive thru workers. But they definitely keep the drive thru running smoothly. Milkshakes are my favorite over any other place.

It was really late at night when we ordered and we had a sort of big order too but these people here got everything right and got our food done super quick! Never been to a bad cookout! (P.S. their sweet tea and fries are such a good combo for a sweet and heat treat)

Great food all the time When I go there

After waiting at sonic for 45 minutes and receiving no service, I went to Cook Out. This place is always spot on. Today I tried their watermelon milkshake and it is the bomb! Whoever was working the drive through was so incredibly polite and kind. Every time I go here I have a good experience and they’re fast (like they’re SUPPOSED to be lol!). Definitely recommend. 😎😎😎

This is a seriously delicious burger! Service was super fast! The restaurant is clean and has music playing on speakers at a good level. The three employees that I interacted with with all as nice as can be.

The burger is a good size, very fresh, hot, and juicy! No cheap frozen patties obviously. The fries were hot and sort of steak fry type.

I will definitely be eating here again soon!

If you want a variety of great food, at a great price, then this is the place to go. I always get the tray with a double burger, a bacon wrap, and a quesadilla, and a milkshake. And it’s only like $7 for all that food, and good portion sizes. I come here often for supper break, and their drive through service is always pretty quick.
