So we stopped here about a year ago and it was really nice

The whole place feels so cozy … Kinda like walking in to Grandmas house on a cold day, know what I mean?

The Chicken Tenders and Waffle Fries are absolutely mouth watering

The employees here was super awesome sauce as well

This family-owned, American restaurant is a welcoming and family-friendly place to visit in this village town of Henniker. The remarkable front of house staff are the ones who work hard on their own feet to make the customers feel welcomed, both general areas at the wooden booths and the high-seated tables. The driven back of house staff are the ones who give their own culinary skills to craft such wonderfully made and inspired meals for each customer to experience and provide an enjoyable meal. May you find the needed inspiration to your next well-liked meal as you read over their daily menu and include their own weekly food specials.

Additionally, the owners have been working hard to host weekly social events. I encourage you to ask the helpful staff to help you explore your options of entertainment, to be encouraged to round up your friends and family, and to schedule a night of excitement and fun. If you so happen to be a traveler or a regular local person in the surrounding area, I encourage you to walk inside for a hearty meal and/or for a fizzy drink at the bar with a silver screen.

Including my 10 year old grandson, there were 6 of us for dinner and no duplicate orders. We all raved at how good the food is. Service was spot on! The restaurant is appropriately named because it is definitely rustic. The dining room and bathrooms, as well as the entryway, were spotlessly clean. Prices are quite reasonable and the staff is quite congenial. I can't wait to go back!

This restaurant has been a welcome addition to the small town restaurant scene. With great wait staff, low prices, and delicious food this has quickly become a weekly spot for me. I'm sure that as they get more exposure the increase of customers may have and impact on wait times but for now I've never had a problem getting a table or my food! I love the specials that include food from all over the world! Try their hand breaded chicken tenders! They are the best I've ever had!

We made reservations easily for a larger group of people, we we seated immediately with a great setup table and waters. Waitress was extremely attentive and on point with drinks. Food came very fast all at once with everything correct! The food was incredible and portions big. Love the atmosphere and everything here! Great thing they have going. A must see and try place with family and friends ❤

Ordered the fish tacos and sadly didn't like the look, but the first bite and made me freakishly want to do cartwheels. Very unique taste that is completely different than anywhere in the country. I am so shocked and surprised how great this small town bar and grill is compared to some dumb big city restaurants. Awesome place!!!

Great food, great atmosphere, great people and great service! I had the Cuban - it was DELICIOUS! Husband had the BLT, which was also wonderful. We both also really enjoyed the waffle fries.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Rustic Rose Tavern for a meal recently, and I have to say, it was an absolute delight. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt right at home thanks to the cozy and rustic decor that created a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Of course, the real highlight of my visit was the Reuben sandwich that I ordered - it was simply outstanding. The corned beef was tender and full of flavor, and it paired perfectly with the tangy sauerkraut and melty Swiss cheese. The bread was toasted to perfection, adding a satisfying crunch to every bite. I also ordered a side of fries, which were crispy and delicious.

But it wasn't just the food that made my visit so enjoyable - the staff at the Rustic Rose Tavern were also incredibly friendly and attentive. They went out of their way to ensure that my experience was enjoyable from start to finish, and I really appreciated their excellent service.

Not sure on food as I didn't have any but service was great and cute place. Easy to get to plenty of parking. Nice bar set up and plenty of seating otherwise.

The food here is delicious. My metric on new restaurants is how they treat their chicken and the chicken tenders here are flat out amazing. They have a snappy coating and are delivered by real, kind, human beings. Plus, the sauces 🤤. I can’t wait to try everything this restaurant is offering. Very nice people - an awesome stop.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

This place is home away from home, they even have hot dogs on the menu.

Out with the family and made a last minute decision to stop in for lunch. The food was good, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was casual and relaxing. We all enjoyed the experience. We’ll be back for more.

Food is great though service exceeded expectations; word is they'd not yet held a grand opening that seems contingent on an external condition not under their control. Hence, a pure delight in service and atmosphere directed fully at customer experience while ramping up.

The waitress is very nice the food was very good and the prices were reasonable.

Just went and had breakfast for the first time. Food was delicious, enjoyed the environment, and prices were reasonable. We will be back for sure!
