Retro arcade game systems are available for use while the food is being made. I liked the tempura vegetables but would prefer to have more variety with them. I also got the combo teriyaki, and it was simply amazing! I love the variety of food choices here, and I will be back for more. The owners also let us have some lemon blueberry scones

Very fresh and tasty dishes here. The service is awesome and the owners are very passionate about their work. We ordered the chicken katsu, kappa maki, Polynesian wings, and the loco moco. Excited to go back and try the Hawaiian BBQ plate and more! Free dessert for the review (pineapple cheesecake). Parking available in the shopping center parking lot.

The staff are very friendly and the food is excellent. I'm not a fan of fish, but their sushi rolls are for landlubbers like me. I tried Kai's Loaded fries, which is a fusion sort of dish and was a bit of a gamble. It paid off! A hint of sweet from the sauce on the meat and the right balance of salty and savory. The atmosphere is neat with free video games including some vintage Nintendo games and the place clearly has some love for Nintendo with authentic games and magazine articles and adds all over the walls. My family really enjoyed our visit.

This place is so great. Video games while you wait. Awesome memorabilia and decorations s all over. Rotation of specialty desserts and baked goods. The Kyokos curry special with katsu is my favorite. The Spam musubi is great and flavorful even without the sauce. Loved the lightness of the sauce with the Polynesian wings. The couple that run this place are AWESOME, as well. One of my absolute favorite places to eat!

This place had some awesome food! The curry and katsu are perfect. I didn't want to stop eating the curry honestly and was sad when the katsu was gone.

My bf got their chicken and waffles. The smell of the waffles was heavenly as they made them. He's a super picky eater and said they were some of the best waffles he's had.

We are looking forward to going back and trying out the arcade they have with friends!

I adore this place, it's always hot fresh and made to order. This family owned restaurant has some of the best and kindest service I have had in the city.

The katsu (choice of chicken of pork) is my favorite, it comes with their family recipe of curry from grandma passed down for 3 generations which they are happy to change to your taste, many spice levels. The curry is robust, filling, warm and just comforting. Made with white meat chicken, carrots, and potatoes all served on a fluffy bed of sushi rice, this dish and location is always a win.

This 90's game themed establishment has a free arcade cabinet containing 1000 games, Super Mario World for the Super Nintendo, and the Legend of Zelda for the NES, and board games for the family such as connect 4, checkers, and battleship to entertain the family.

I can not recommend this establishment highly enough, whether you are calling in an order or enjoying the experience you will more than satisfied.

Amazing food and great service brought me back to my days in Hawaii eating at the local food shacks so good. Had to add more to my review. I love this place so much that I go there at least 2 to 3 times a week. Their food is amazing and awesome you can feel the love and the home cook and the fresh ingredients everything is amazing about this place definitely a diamond in the rough. One of my favorite things that I get when I'm ever in there is there Polynesian wings some of the best wings I've had especially with that sweet glazed Polynesian sauce that they put over it homemade it's amazing. Definitely a stop if you're in town or if you're just around the neighborhood.

It was really good. Wife and I had the Katsu Curry. I had pork and she had chicken, and they were both really good. The flavors have depth and boldness. It was delicious. The portions are perfect. I took home half of my curry because I was so full and I usually eat a lot so that's saying something. The service was great, they answered all of our questions and were super respectful. They even came to the table to make sure we were good. That's service. They even let you play games for free. I played the old super Nintendo 64 until my food was done. I didn't even get to play for too long because the food was done so fast. The best part was the food was super fresh and super hot. That's how you know it was made to order. Really appreciate the presentation of the food too. Five stars well earned. Will come again.

The staff was very welcoming! The food was amazing, best spot in Lancaster by far. We were impressed with how good the food tasted. They also have arcade/video/board games for you to play, so the wait time goes by quickly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.😊

I love this place! Great food and atmosphere! Aaron and Abby are some of the nicest people I have ever met. The food is delicious! I have lived overseas in Japan for years and he nails those dishes! The menu isn’t set in stone. If I ask for a menu item a certain way, they will accommodate my request. Which is awesome service. You can’t go wrong with anything there, but if I had to choose, I love the Pork Kastu Curry! Spicy level 6 for a bit of kick! Delicious!

My family and I bought a smorgasbord of different sides and entrees, and we loved them all. The katsu and curry katsu were great. The pineapple rice was my wife's favorite. The tempura was awesome, and the gyoza (though really more like wontons) were the best I've ever had. The only dish I'd give less-than five stars to was the Dragon Ball, but even that was still pretty damn delicious.

We came in and ordered at 7pm on a Friday night, and it took almost an hour for all of our food to be ready. They warned us upon ordering that it'd be a long wait because they needed to make a fresh batch of rice, but just be aware that you shouldn't be in a hurry when eating here. All the staff was incredibly cheerful and friendly, and the entire place has a very family vibe.

Their decor is all old school NES/SNES stuff. This ain't fine-dining by any means - the tables were sorta old and dingy - but for takeout it was really great (besides the wait).

Walked in and fell in love with the old school games and comics that were spread throughout the place. I ordered the chicken katsu, and when they asked me what level of heat I wanted, I knew immediately that I wanted the hottest that they could provide. If anyone wants to have incredible food with heat and flavor, I absolutely will recommend they come here. Needless to say, the atmosphere and service were amazing.

P.S. whatever you do, challenge the chef to a 1v1 he is great at both cooking and gaming and deserves a better challenge that I could provide.

Everything about this place is phenomenal! First time ever trying curry and their recommendation was BLESSED and taught me the traditional way to eat it 🔥 the free games to play top it off!!! Not to mention their outstanding customer service 🖤

Had one of the best afternoon today in this small yet aesthetic place. Their curry is one of the best that I’ve tried 10000/10! Would love to pamper myself again with their food.

Curry is my favorite here!!!...will eventually try everything. So you'll see my posts grow. Husband & wife staff with their wonderful behaved children!....Will have to try the chicken katsu next time with curry on top.

Wonderful! Such a sweet family owned spot, with tons of delicious traditional recipes and nostalgia overflow! Looking forward to returning and trying more dishes (and playing some more classic video games 😝)

I found this hidden gem 💎 by chance. First off, the owners are superb and very attentive. Everything is made to order and well worth the wait. I was happily surprised when the food came out. It was hot, fresh and ready to be eaten. Everything is made with great care and tastes amazing. We had the spam masubi, the veggie tempura, the ramen and the chicken curry. All where wonderfully cooked and so delicious that we order some items to go. I'll definitely be back to this wonderful place that serves amazing food with a positive attitude. This combination of great service and amazing food, gives me a reason to make the two hour drive for amazing home style cooking.

I would travel pretty far to go back here again. It’s in a run down area of town but well worth the trip. Gotta love some Japanese comfort food.

The husband was very passionate about every single one of his grandmas recipes! It’s been a while since I had some real good food like this from a restaurant. & walking in made me feel like I was going through a time capsule. If you’re looking for a sign 🪧 here it is… GO TO KYOKOS KITCHEN..

My son loves sushi and he loved this place! Everything we ordered was delicious 😋. The arcade was a pleasant surprise and kept us entertained. Will definitely be back to try more menu items!!
