Loved the hike with my kids along the creek! We released our butterflies at the beginning of the trail. As we were releasing them, a snake fell from the top branches to the bottom right in front of us!!! Big beautiful snake! We also found Toad frogs! Many many toad frogs! The waterfall wasn't flowing, but go after a rain it will be!

I love this trail, its really nice and unique. I'm excited to come back. Bring bug repellent though, there are lots of mosquitos.

We absolutely loved our time here. The views are absolutely beautiful and the trails are very well maintained. We spent close to 2 hours here today and didn't even get to hike every trail. We can't wait to go back in the Spring and Summer and see how it looks then.

As promised there were indeed wildflowers. Highlights included water, air, rocks, and laughter from other hikers. Putting feet in the water is recommended.

This is the trailhead parking for the "Wildflower Trail.". Rather than talk about a small (6-8 car) gravel parking lot lovingly maintained both by the local residents and the Land Trust, I would much rather talk about the trail itself.

The Wildflower Trail is one of the best low intensity trails maintained by The Land Trust. While it is not wheelchair accessible, someone with a cane or with reduced mobility could enjoy the lower most part of this trail very easily. Trail gets its name for the numerous wildflowers that grow along the edges of both Fagan Creek and the trail. These wildflowers start to bloom in early March and continue until late May. Fagan Creek is spring fed year-round by Fagan Spring which is approximately 3/4 of a mile up the trail. Numerous seasonal springs and seeps also flow into the creek. One of the most stunning things is how clear the water is.

While the parking is sparse, the beautiful views and creek more than make up for it

The trail is well maintained. My daughter and I went for the first time, abandoned the trail and played in the nearby creek for a few hours. THE PARKING IS VERY LIMITED!

I visited on a weekday and had the trails to myself. I did Wildflower to Sink Hole to Alms house to Waterline to Bluff Trail and looped around. It was about four miles. Waterline follows an actual old water line and is straight up the hill. There is a pretty difficult section as well. You really have to watch your feet on this hike as there are so many uneven steps, roots and rocks. After your strenuous hike be sure to stop at the creek before you hit the parking lot and splash some cold spring water in your face!

Beautiful trail to hike. Nice scenic views and rushing water. Very peaceful. There are also nice benches to sit and rest by the water.

Great trial and scenery. Don’t eat the red berries. They are Winter Honeysuckle Berries. Parking is very limited.

This is the entry point for many hiking adventures! You can create your own hiking loop by your choice of trail route, there are plenty of options to make your hike as challenging as you’d like. The parking area itself is shaded and rustic, it feels safe and is well-maintained. On any beautiful weekend day you can of course expect a crowd, but most of the time there’s plenty of parking for everyone.

Parking is sufficient for the trailhead's use. It's worth taking a picture of the map at the trailhead because it's a very good one and some of the intersections be bit a confusing to remember otherwise.

The Mayflower trail goes along a pretty stream and was fun to do near sunset. The Alms Trail is a good perimeter trail and a good way to get to The Three Caves in the southwest part of the land trust.

Perfect location if you arrive early! Only about 6 spots as it is a neighborhood access. I like it as it has a great access to 2 teauks at the start. You can use either to access several good loops on MonteSano. My pet shy and dies not like a lot of traffic. This is at a dead end location. Thank You to the Land trust.

Love to hike the trails here. Beautiful views, nice workout. Trails are well maintained. Several ways to get involved with trail maintenance... Physically help trail crew or donate.
