Great atmosphere for a delicious burger. Bartender did a wonderful job on drinks, and they have a good variety of alcohol to choose from. The fried green tomatoes are to die for! The Rodeo burger comes with 2 onion rings that are bigger than the burger itself. Sweet potato fries are ok. Highly recommended for a hearty meal with a refreshing drink.

The restaurant looks cool when you walk in. They seat you at your table with no silverware or napkins. We ordered our meals. Still no silverware. My very small salad is delivered and the server turned and left quickly. Waited about 3 to 5 minutes for some one to pass by. Got attention and she got our silverware. My wife's meal was good, but my rib eye stake cooked to medium was very hard to cutand took alot chewing to get it down. Maybe ate half of it. If I lived here I would be hard pressed to go back. I lost out on a 28 dollar meal. Gave the waitress only 18% tip. Normally if the service is average or better I go with 25%.

EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE!!! Don't miss the opportunity! Tasty mountain oysters and fried green tomatoes. The prime rib sandwich was fantastic and save room for the bread pudding. Don't forget the local brew, too!

We loved everything about this place. The food we had was the best we had in our entire trip from Jackson Hole through Yellowstone to Cody. The prime rib was cooked perfectly, the onion rings and the four cheese Mac n Cheese were amazing and the bread pudding dessert that we thought we were too full to eat was not to be missed! We have one more day in Cody and we will be back. We met the owner and it turns out he has ties to Maryland and WV where we currently live. It’s a small world. Don’t miss this place. It has a great atmosphere, friendly staff and wonderful food!

Atmosphere is amazing! All the people who work there are so friendly! We sat at the bar because the restaurant was full. Johanna was our bartender/server and she was great! Super nice and we had a great time!
We both had the prime rib and it was all delicious.

Ok, so it was a Friday the place was packed. We found some seats at the bar. The food was incredible. I got the scallops and husband got a T-bone…amazing. Then the dessert was this bread pudding that you must get if you go there. The food, the staff, and atmosphere all amazing. Thanks for starting our vacation off in such a splendid manner. And a special thanks to the owner who makes the bread pudding from his own recipe.

Small restaurant and bar located in downtown Cody. The waitresses were friendly, quick with our drinks, and the steaks were excellent in quality, cut and taste! A lot of locals were there so you know it's going to be a good meal. Prices were what we expected for the area. Not cheap but not hugely overpriced. Highly recommend stopping in, you won't be disappointed!!

We had Laura as our waitress and she was so sweet and attentive. She helped us with our questions about the menu and for other things to do in town. We ordered the Rocky Mountain Oysters for an appetizer and they were yummy! The steak and shrimp was delicious and the Mac and cheese was to die for. We will definitely be recommending this place! I would also suggest making a reservation 48 hours in advance since they fill up quick.

Really enjoyed this old school restaurant/saloon in Cody's busy downtown. We enjoyed butterfly shrimp (flavorful and very crunchy with light batter - and the cocktail sauce has the right horseradish zing) and... whew... an outstanding, 12oz, Bison ribeye (cooked to a perfect medium-rare) with a nice salad and crispy sweet potato fries). Drinks very excellent too - specifically the Huckleberry martini and the "Tombstone" - call that a uniquely citrus Old Fashioned. Staff was very friendly, with just the right amount of attentiveness and the bill ($74) was well below what we would have paid for this quality of meal elsewhere. Highly recommended!

Proud Cut Saloon was a nice dining experience. The bartender was great to speak with and the prices reasonable. When I ever get back to Cody, this will be one of my waterin' holes.

A great little restaurant on the main strip. You can sit at with the tables or at the bar. As a solo traveler I chose the bar and was so glad that I did! Jesse was running the bar that night and was an absolute pleasure to chat with. Besides providing a great detailed breakdown of the menu and recommendations on what to have, she also offered free tourist advice on the best bars and on the surrounding area. To be fair, the food was so good I came back three nights in a row!
The streak is excellent. The Thai salad also was superb. I would also strongly recommend the cobbler if they have it on the menu.
I will certainly be back next time I am in town!

We stopped in here after going through the Bill Cody museum. Friendly service. We enjoyed huckleberry martinis that were fun. Our group enjoyed the steak salad, spinach salad with addition if steak, soup of the day a chowder, fried brussel sprouts a bison burger and all were very yummy. Cool fun atmosphere. Near museum and shopping. We were lucky to find parking just across the street.

Amazing place. Unassuming from the street but very cool inside with on spot decor. Super friendly service. Food was incredible and a great value, tasty cocktails hit the spot, and desserts were off the chart rich and delicious! If you find yourself in Cody, it's a must!!!

Julie and I had the best dinner. Proud Cut Saloon does things right. We made a reservation for 5:30. We arrived a bit early, and our table was ready. The nicest young lady (Alexis) took care of us during our visit. She was funny, engaging, knowledgeable, and gave spot-on advice on our menu choices. Julie had salad, tenderloin, and the loaded baked potato. For an appetizer, I had the Rocky Mountain Oysters. For dinner, I had salad, hand cut ribeye, and steamed broccoli. The salads were fresh, the meat flavorful and cooked to perfection. Julie said the potato was fantastic, my broccoli was steamed, firm and tasty. We almost went to a different restaurant but changed our minds and our reservations. I am so glad we did, or we would have missed this gem. Not sure why they only get 4.2 stars. This place is 5 stars start to finish.

The steak sandwich and the prime rib sandwich are both fabulous and inexpensive... Not actually sandwiches, but a beautiful cut of meat with bread on the side. Side dishes are good, and The loaded baked potato is a great add.
