Sonny’s Italian Market and Deli

We both had the a hot Italian hoagie and fries to spit. We both only managed to eat half as the sub as it was huge. Could easily have split one and an order if fries. It's probably the best Italian cold cut I've ever had. Highly recommended. I wish it was closer to me. I will make it a point to stop here anytime I'm in the area. There's also a few tables outside which we took advantage of to eat at since it was a nice day too.

Stopped in for lunch today and was undecided on a cold or hot sandwich so I decided to do both. Went with a Hot Italian and a Cheesesteak wit. I was not disappointed. The onion/ tomato mixture on the Italian was delicious. The mix of Wiz and provolone was full of flavor and blended into the meat well. I did add a Longhot to the cheesesteak. Rolls were fresh, staff was friendly, and food was prepared quickly. I will definitely be back!

Service is excellent! Employees are super friendly. I tried their cheesesteak with wit and the Italian. The cheesesteak was a bit salty for me, but I loved the roll. I didn’t like the sesame seeds on the roll of the Italian. They put a pepper on the Italian, which I didn’t care for, would have much rather had just hots or jalapeños. Inknow better for next time.

Ordered a 10" Italian sub. Packed with meat, big enough for 2 people. Their subs sets the bar higher than any other sub place that we have been to. I heard that they are new to the area. We will be back. They also have other things, like hand dipped ice cream. I drove 5 miles one way, and it was worth it. Picture looks like it is small, but it is of good size.

There are many cheesesteak spots around the area but definitely this is one of the best they have nailed every when it comes to a cheesesteak from the roll fo the expertly seasoned meat to the generous portion sizes. For the money there is no better value. Customer service was also stellar as I felt like a member of the family when I walked in instead of a brand new customer. I highly recommend this establishment.

We had the "jersey" sausage. It was amazing. Seasoned just right. Bread was fresh and did not get soggy. The cannoli(?) were fantastic. I can't wait to go back and try something else on the menu.

The Italian with the marinated tomatoes and onions full and Fantastic.. I could actually just eat the Marinated tomato mix by itself. It was so good!!
The Cheesesteak is so full and filling, definitely enough to eat some now and save some for later. The Italian as well. I'll definitely go back for more. Can't wait to try other menu items it will be a tough choice to choose what's next

The food here is delicious and by far the best Italian subs and cheesesteaks you’ll find in the area. They are not overpriced like a nearby franchised competitor, Cap…’s. The Italian treats and sodas available are an extra added bonus that makes it even more worthwhile to stop in.

Tried Sonny’s steak sandwich and the Hot Italian (added prosciutto) tonight. The Italian is perfect! Lots of thinly sliced quality meats and sharp provolone, great veg and the seeded roll makes it! The cheesesteak is amazing too! Both sandwiches are the best you will find in DE/MD area. If I had to criticize anything, I’d say the steak is chopped a little too fine and wrapping it in foil makes the roll soggy. 5 stars and I will be back often

We went to a show at the Elkton Music Hall. There was literally no where open to eat. We walked around. Nothing. Saw Sonny's, but there was a vagrant woman sitting in front screaming all kinds of obscenities so we decided not to go. She was really loud and rated X stuff coming out of her mouth. We walked to the place across the street, but I couldn't tell if it was a pizza or taco place. We ended up going back to Sonny's and the woman outside was gone.
Anyway ..I am so glad that we came back. We got two sandwiches subs and they were fantastic. The service was so nice and the people were so nice inside. So if you have a show to attend at the Elkton music Hall, this is the place to go eat.

We tried Sonny's today because of a friend's recommendation.
My husband had the hot italian and I had a regular italian. Absolutely delicious!! Service were great, friendly and fast. Tastes like I'm back home in Philly. Can't wait to try other things on the menu. Highly recommend!!

By far the Italian Hot is the best Hoagie I've ever eating and I've ate my share. Every bite was so satisfying and the man personally came out and handed it to me. I heard a word from our Lord and spoke the word to him. GOD BLESS this business

We ordered our first hoagie from Sonny's. It was the best hoagie we have had in years. It was huge and very fresh. We will definitely be back and have already referred 3 others. If you haven't been yet it is worth the trip. Fyi. It is take out only no seating.

I'll be back time and time again. The food and the service are both top tier; I've been in customer service and food on and off for nearly 20 years and I'd be proud to have this team. There is not a bad thing on the menu; personal favorite is the Hot Italian!
I see a lot of gripes about prices, but you get what you are paying for AND I don't feel they're over priced compared to other local shops (within 15 miles or more).

I seriously can't help myself when I come here. I have no self control what so ever! On the bright side, I no longer have to get my fill of delicious Italian deserts and good rolls on my trips back home to NY!!! 🤣😍🤤
This is the place for real authentic italian rainbow cookies. Not the cake kind with the terrible jam you get around here.

First time visiting this deli, and let me say the service was fantastic, all the staff was incredibly friendly.
Traveled for a couple hours before opening the subs and I will say this is one of the best Italians I have ever had. Stocked full of meat fresh bread.
Will definitely be my spot to stop when I’m in the area!

Excellent subs! We’ve been looking for a good, local sub place, and Sonny’s exceeded our expectations. Prices are very fair for what you get, especially compared to other places. Will definitely be our go-to sub spot.

I won’t get my cheesesteaks from no where else took my mother in law there yesterday afternoon she said it was the best cheesesteak especially for the price and of course my boyfriend loves his well done cheesesteak lol by his choice … and my daughter enjoyed her chicken tenders & water ice 🥰🥰🥰 love the lady up front she is amazing
