We had a technician named Kevin come to our house and he was excellent! He didn't stop until the problem was fixed. Yes the service is a little buggy sometimes...he gave us a new router free of charge and also some new wires. He was very professional and courteous.

They are probably the worst internet providers of all time. I refuse to believe that Centurylink was even made in this century considering the abysmal quality of it. I am unable to reach a customer service representative and my internet has been out for an entire day. Not to mention the horrendous quality when it’s not completely out. I am unable to play a YouTube video with good quality, any and all applications I try to use while on Wi-Fi is slow and janky, all videos I try to play will stop to load every 2 minutes. I feel like I’m living at point Nemo and not a fairly populated area of New Jersey. My AT&T is usually what I have to use because even though it can be spotty where I am, it’s still 100x more reliable than Centurylink. Since I was unable to reach a customer support representative, I’ll type what I was going to say here. Why am I paying for a service that I am not receiving ? Why are they charging me for something they are too incompetent to provide? The minute another provider is in my area I will be switching because Centurylink should have never become a provider , let alone the only provider in my area. I feel like I’m living in a different world due to the quality difference between me and people who have actually competent service providers. Fix it or stop charging people for a service that you are unable to actually give them. If I could rate it negative 5 stars I would.

I'd given them 0 stars if i could. More than "not care" about their customers they hate the and go out of their way to make their lives miserable. Once I find a good internet provider in my area I am CUTTING THE CABLE ON CENTURYLINK! Free at last, free at last!

Please do not waste your time or money! CenturyLink internet is absolutely terrible. In the first few months our service was great and I didn’t understand why people always said it was horrible, well now I get it. It’s been almost one year that we have had CenturyLink and more often than not our service cuts out. Not to mention that they are no help at all with a solution or answer to why our service is so spotty. Such a waste of money! We thankfully found out that a different internet provider services our area and we cannot wait to switch!!

This is the worst internet I have EVER used in my life. The maximum Mbps is not even double digits and they will tell you "you can will get 8 Mbps and you won't even get 1/3 of 1mb.
I live in blairstown and if your thinking of moving in the area, if ur kid or teen plays video games or goes on the Internet a lot DONT MOVE HERE. But, if you do move in the area and you have kids that use the Internet a lot, make sure you move into a house that you can have access to cable Internet. That's the only way to get good internet in this area and thats hard to do, you well have to get very lucky. If you work from home and work on the computer, you Will have to find a different job moving here. Centurylink is terrible end of story, I gave it one star because it's not an option to give it none.

I am 72 years old and owned my own business before retiring............please BEWARE this is absolutely BY FAR the very worst company I have EVER dealt with in my 72 years on this earth. The internet IS THE WORST and SLOWEST connection I have ever had. Tech support is NON-EXISTENT and I defy you to get these people on the phone. I have held on the line for as long as an hour and a half ONLY TO BE DISCONNECTED!!! You can call back and hold for 20-40-60 minutes after which they will disconnect the call EVERY TIME!!

So, if you like to be lied to, have nothing but problems with your internet connection, 8MBS connection speeds, No tech support, horrible chat wait time and never any resolve other that have them tell you to call their "Retention Department" who will keep you on hold for over an hour then disconnect the call, THIS WILL BE THE COMPANY FOR YOU!! CENTURYLINK SUCKS!!!!

Literally the worst internet I have ever had. Regularly slow my service down and barely ever get the 12 mb the plan says you do. If you're in blairstown and having trouble finding internet look into fiber optics. I forget the name of the company but there is one out here luckily I'm moving

Worst company ever. They censor the programming when you bundle with direct tv. They change install date without letting you know. They also charge you extra out of the blue. Customer service is horrible. I could go on for hours but I think everyone will get the picture. Oh did I mention there internet is garbage.

Just moved to the area and the only provider is century Link. This internet is absolute garbage. You can compare it to dial up. Don't waste your time or money. Looking into alternative options.

Our internet has been out for 2 weeks. Called again to see when they were going to come out and repair the downed wires on our road. They told us 2 more weeks... would give them no stars if I could.

They don't deserve 1 star! I moved to the country from the suburbs and I cannot believe the only internet option is this horrible company. Customer service reps are beyond inept. I get better results from overseas service reps who don't understand English!

Fios is better. now there's optimum which I hear is better but not good and planet networks which is new to the area and had gotten rave reviews.
