Tinsley-Bible Soda Fountain

We came to explore Dandridge due to a video we watched on YouTube. We stepped into the Tinsley-Bible Drug Company and our sense of smell was immediately overwhelmed by wonderful food. We decided to have lunch at the Soda Fountain. Words cannot properly describe what happened to our taste buds. Absolutely FANTASTIC!! Our waitress was WONDERFUL with a perfectly timed dry sense of humor. She was second in line to making our visit. The food... good heavens... the FOOD!! YUMMYOLA!!! Hub had a Bible burger and claims it's the best burger he's ever had. I had their chicken salad sandwich that was divine! Another in our party had their club and said it was outstanding! Our waitress gave us all samples of their special of the day -- chili -- and I have to say it's the best chili I've ever had in my 59 years on this planet. We all had a creme soda from the fountain, which was perfection, but hub decided to have a peanut butter milkshake. Ho! was it delicious!! If a milkshake could taste fluffy... this one surely did. A TRUE milkshake! Small bag of chips are included with your meal, there's no fries to be found, but if you're smart, you won't care. One of THE best lunches we've EVER had in an atmosphere straight from the 50's. It was a wonderful, WONDERFUL visit and we'll absolutely be back!!

A real joy to have breakfast or dinner or just a milkshake,banana split and visit with the girls that take care of you. A back in time experience.
