Awesome service. Staff was extremely friendly, I traveled alone and felt welcomed. Live music, atmosphere was awesome. It came highly recommended by locals. Must visit. I can't wait to come back.

Drink was good and strong. Food was hot and tasty. The menu was great as it had a nice variety. Portions were large and the lobster bisque was thick and loaded with lobster. You gotta try it! You won't be disappointed.!

Back at captain Jack's. Food was terrific! The honey battered shrimp was so tasty you could eat it without any sauce. Our server, Caitlin, was on point! Made great meal recommendations and made sure we got our food and drinks promptly. And be sure to order the ransom note, a Blueberry vodka lemonade. $2 of every sale go to the family of a deceased friend.

My husband and I ate a late lunch here and while the rest of the food was delicious, the winner out of our order was definitely the lobster pizza. We'd never heard of it, let alone tried one before, so we went for it. So glad we did. It's even available on a gluten free crust, which was as crisp and delicious as a regular crust in our opinion.

Today, six of us went to Captains Jack's for lunch. Everyone ordered something different. All of us were happy with our choices. The food was tasty and the portions were generous. Our waitress (Makayla) was excellent. Prices are reasonable. We will definitely visit again.

Came this way to visit my son in Palmyra. We had a beautiful day which included lunch at Captain Jack's. Great server, atmosphere, really enjoyed our service and food!!! Pictured is their Beef on Weck , and my son got the Loaded Nachos.

Went for Memorial Day excellent service & food . I enjoyed dancing to the band in the newly decorated banquet room . Atmosphere so much better than the crowded upper deck over looking the street . Plenty of seating , great dance floor ( upstairs way too crowded ) comfortable environment & temperature and the view is great looking out to the bay ,
I will return if they keep the music in the banquet room so much better . Thank you to the

Well, if you've been following any of my other bar reviews, you know I'm not a high-end kind of guy. I wouldn't say Captain Jack's is a dive... It's just very comfortable. Come as you are. Not pretentious at all. Love that. That whole little area by the bay has just got a really nice vibe. It's a great place to sit outside during the boating season. I may be a little bit partial because I play music and I've had the opportunity to play there. So yeah, they sometimes have entertainment. That's always a lot of fun. I'm not sure who my waitress was, but the service was absolutely outstanding last visit. Didn't wait or want for anything. I was surprised at the prices. Cost me almost a hundred bucks for lunch. But I spared no expense on the 4 excellent Prison City IPA beers, and two fish fries were pretty good. That was 77 and I threw in a 20 tip. I haven't had any problem with the food quality; the last two times I've eaten there it was delicious. Lots of choices. It's a nice ride to Sodus Bay. Check it out.

Awesome place!!!! This was our first time here. I made reservations for a group of 5, took my husband there for his birthday. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was fun, and our waitress Michaella was amazing! We had a great time and we will definitely be back!! 👍

Stopped for lunch. We had a prime rib sandwich and a fish fry. They were delicious and the staff was very friendly. Service was good. There was lots of outdoor seating overlooking the water, but it was cold, so we will save that for another day!

Captain Jack’s had a gift shop I was able to replace my rain and mud soaked sneakers in. Traded those for a nice plastic pair of slip ons. Saved my day trip. I enjoyed the music and the resin tables depicting various bodies of water as well. Thanks Captain!

We always ride the motorcycle out to Sodus Point then we stopped at Captain Jack's for drinks and a bite to eat I had the Franken witch which is a roast beef on Wick with au jus and it was fabulous highly recommend Captain Jack's

Wonderful local treasure and Sodus Bay pillar. Indoor restaurant with fireplace, enclosed dining right on the bay, outdoor waterfront patio seating, second floor open air deck with live music summertime and reserved-for-customer docks.
Excellent food, good specials and delicious desserts.

Really good place. Great service. Friendly staff. Big portions served fast. Not to mention the large selection of drafts. Looks crowded in the summer. Open all year. Fish fry was huge and delicious.

This was the first time my wife & I went to this restaurant and we went to the tiki bar upstairs. We got food & drinks, & it had a great view as well. A band played there that night as well, it sounded amazing & the band was so fun! Overall, it was a great experience !

Absolutely love this place. We drive from Geneva. Enjoy everything! Plus i'm a fishermen&have fished Sodas Bay many times! Love coming here! Thank You Again!

Great place in Sodus Point to sit by the water and have a nice time during the summer. The service is excellent, we were greeted warmly and shown right away to our choice of table. Our server was very good about checking on our needs, our meals were served quickly. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Captain Jack's has a fun atmosphere and unbeatable views of the bay. This place will not disappoint if you want quality, fun, and an enjoyable time. Definitely recommend.

Efficient, Eager to please, charming, witty, polite! Hard to come by servers like her. Handled all our needs with ease and a great sense of humor!
(And she had to break it to us that the pizza oven was broke and we came for pizza)
