Sleep Number

Well, our purchase of our brand new bed from Sleep Number was quite the surprise for my wife and I. We had already gone to another bed store and found a bed we intended to buy, but we decided to at least check out the Sleep Number store off the highly encouraged recommendation of my chiropractor. I've had back issues for years and my chiropractor kept telling me that I should get a sleep number bed, but my wife and I were extremely hesitant because we had slept on a Sleep Number for a couple years and we hated that bed. To be fair, the bed we were sleeping on was a much older model (about 10 years old) and we had all sorts of issues with it. So we went to this Folsom location on a super hot day, so luckily only one other couple was shopping. We were immediately greeted by a very nice employee named Hunter. He asked us some questions on what we were looking for and we discussed our hesitance with getting one of their beds. He assured us that the Sleep Number beds have come a LONG way from the one we had slept on. He gave us each a pillow and laid us down on the first bed. He gave us instructions on how we figure out our sleep numbers, and we landed on 50 for myself and 60 for my wife. After Hunter adjusted the bed, it felt great. We tried another model, and then got to lay on the high tech bed that really helps you find your perfect number (it was occupied before which is why we didn't start on that bed). It was pretty neat actually. You lay down and there is a screen above you that shows where there is a lot of tension in your back as you lay. The beds always start at 100 and then they adjust them. What you see is your outline and wherever you see red is where the most pressure is when you lay down. Hunter then adjusted our beds until the red spots turned purple, which means that is the best number for you to sleep on so you don't have awful pressure on those areas. My number, again, ended up being 50, and my wife's number ended up being 55. After that, we tried other beds with those numbers. All of them were pretty comfortable, and some had some super cool features (like the most expensive bed that can actively cool you down or heat you up depending on what you want). Hunter was absolutely fantastic though. He was extremely professional, personable, funny, nice, and VERY informative! After only about 5 to 10 minutes, the three of us were joking, laughing, trying out different beds and products (like this mattress cover that cools you down), talking about our personal lives, and trying to find our perfect bed. It was such a phenomenal experience and that's purely due to Hunter. He really sold us on the beds and different products they had. We ended up buying a bed, a couple set of sheets and pillows, an adjustable bed frame, and that awesome cooling bed cover. Hunter then tried to help us save money with any and all things we qualified for, including a $50 voucher you can get from their website. And since they were having their July 4th sale, we saved a ton of money. It was such an amazing experience and we are SO happy that we ended up being helped by Hunter. He really is an amazing dude and very good at what he does. This guy deserves all the praise in the world (and a raise!). We still couldn't believe we ended up financing a bed as we walked to our car, but we were so excited that we did. Since the beds are made to order, we were told it should be delivered at the end of July, and we can't wait to get our perfect night sleep on our new Sleep Number bed.

I purchased a Sleep Number bed here a little over two years ago. Since then I have visited this store for pillows and bedding. I have had no issues with the sleep number bed and been very happy with it. Their bedding and pillows are good quality and hold up well. The people working at this store have always been very helpful.

With some free time on our hands, we decided to do some long discussed new bed shopping. After a couple of stops at other prominent bed/mattress retailers we found ourselves at Sleep Number. I had bought a sleep number bed some 20 years ago and thought they were worth checking out again. Hunter greeted us and started their step by step process of figuring out what we were looking for, what our comfort/sleep number is and of course our price range. After going through the process we found ourselves negotiating to see how Sleep Number prices compared to other quotes we had gotten earlier in the day. To our surprise we were able to get everything we wanted and some affitional items for less $$. Our new bed hasn't been delivered yet, but we are looking forward to it's arrival next week. The purchase process was an enjoyable one for a fairly big purchase and we are looking forward to some better night's sleep coming our way soon.

Was a great experience. Sleep Number stores and service is always top notch. I got a call to remind me to use my rewards before it expires. Never had a company do that. This is my second bed from this company. My newest bed is more amazing than the first one I purchased.

Had a pleasant experience with Sam. He was very knowledgeable and patient. Gave us plenty of space and time to decide exactly what we wanted. Didn't even mind when we started rearranging furniture in the store, so we could find just the right side tables.

Elodia was very helpful and friendly. Didn't push one thing over the other just let me select.

We arrived without an appointment, though I now recommend calling and planning ahead, as we were there for nearly two hours. I figured, "It's a mattress, why do I need an appointment?" Well, the experience is much more involved than buying a mattress. It involves fitting you to the right mattress for how you sleep, and that takes time if done right. We were given time and information to consider the pros and cons of the store's many versions of Sleep Number mattresses. By the time we decided what mattress we wanted, we had lain on all of them and never once were we pushed toward one over another. Although Sleep Number mattresses are not inexpensive, consider what a friend said before we went to the store ... "You spend one third of your life on your mattress. Make sure it's a good one." We did that, and Cameron De Coud, our sales rep, was exceedingly careful and helpful in guiding us toward the right decision without pressure. His was low-key salesmanship at its best.

The staff here is very professional and way less pressure than a traditional mattress store. Relaxing process to try out the beds and great follow up post-sale

Kay greeted us with a huge smile when we entered the store. She really knew her stuff and spent so much time with us making sure we got the right fit in our new sleep number mattress. Kay let us know that this was an investment in our well being and not to be rushed into. The technology was amazing as she went through all the steps to find our right number.

We have been waiting for this new bed for too long. Timing was right and Tony at the Folsom store helped walk both of us through choices to end up with the best selection of bed for us. Tony was very polite and listened actively to our disires for our bed. He exhibited excellence in customer service and found the best deals and discounts available for us. We are very happy.

Great customer service here! I went in knowing that I was going to purchase that day and Jenna helped me get financed and find a reasonable budget. She then went over multiple options with me, and best of all, she worked really hard to get me the most within in my budget. That was important for me, personally. I don't need the bells and whistles and I didn't feel pressured to add anything that I wasn't really interested in.

The other employees were equally as kind and helpful. I'm very pleased with my experience, and SO EXCITED for my new Sleep Number bed!!!!

We had THE BEST experience shopping with Brita, the manager at the Palladio store. We literally did all of our shopping from the bed we ended up ordering. If she sold cars or real estate, we may have bought those from her too. She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, non-salesy and when we left we felt like we had a new friend.

The Folsom store manager, Britta, was very informative. She was able to answer all our questions and gave us confidence in what we were buying. We are looking forward to improved sleep on our new bed.

Kay and the rest of the team were great to work with. She was very patient as I freaked out about going to a split king. I'm not that old am I? But the benefits of a sleep number is that you have 1 bed that both of you are comfortable in. Which means you have different settings and positions. You want the best night sleep you can get as it sets you up for success the next day. The is our second sleep number. Our first bed is now 18 years old. Still good, but none of the new technology. Can't wait for it to be delivered!

My sales person was great. There was no pressure in buying a bed. He went through the entire process and information about the sleep number....its not just a bed! Learning about each type of bed was easy to follow. I am going to have back surgery soon, so you can only imagine the lack of sleep I get daily and my back is firing at about a 9. When we figured out my sleep number (30) and the type of bed thats comfortable for me, I had no pain in my back. This has NEVER happened. I was sold. I very excitrd for my new bed to arrive.
