Casa Amigos Mexican Restaurant

Food was excellent and service was great. We had our food within 10-15m of ordering. I had the flaming fajita and it was hands down one of the top 3 all-time best fajitas I’ve ever tasted. The wife had enchiladas and my son had mac and cheese with fries (bless his heart). We will definitely eat there again.

Edit: Just ate there again but ordered take-out this time. Guess what!? Them flaming cheese fajitas are still banging!!!!

Friday night, and this place was packed! We didn't wait long. Our drinks were wonderful. Chips and salsa great. And our food!!! Oh wow! Delicious! Finally our own authentic Mexican restaurant!

A new Mexican restaurant in Mound. The menu is huge and it offers menu items for veggie lovers, and GF. You get free chips and salsa (salsa is not spicy). Parking is free at the parking lot. The service is quick and the food delicious.

Went there during their grand opening. We were not impressed.
Tried again last evening. Completely different!!!! Got a ton of great food at a very good price!

Had an awesome experience! Restaurant was bright and cheerful w authentic music consistent w the decor of the restaurant. Was clean and organized. We were greeted immediately at the door and got seated right away. Saw our server w/in a couple mins and got chips, salsa and waters on the spot. We ordered the Ultimate Margaritas and they were huge and delicious! Miguel was our server and he was a delight. Very attentive and very helpful with navigating their huge menu (a good thing!) and his recommendations were spot on! I had the shrimp tacos and guys the shrimps were huge and so good!! We also added queso for the chips and got the jalapeño one and was delicious!! My boyfriend had the Quesa Birria Tacos and WOW!!! I mean guys, this was exceptional food. We love Baja House and Lago Tacos and have been going there forever but we both felt this was better. Highly recommended!!

Nice to have a good Mexican Restaurant in town. They have great Carnitas and wet Burritos! It’s becoming a regular place to hit for dinner. I’ve done both takeout and dine in.

This place has become my go-to for authentic southwestern food. Great service, fair price, awesome menu and yummy margueritas.

Surprisingly good food and staff is truly authentic Mexican. Expect a fun communication barrier like your in Mexico 😁

On the surface, this just appears to be an ordinary, clean, cheerful Mexican restaurant, but the five stars are in the details. The unsweetened ice tea was the best I have ever had in a restaurant. My companion compared it to a wine with complex flavors. The mole was the best I have ever had--order the enchiladas poblanas. The sour cream was actual sour cream, not that stupid stuff composed of various milk derivatives and carageenum. Even at my food coop I can't get the buyer to appreciate the difference. (Important if you have a milk allergy, since pure cream is not milk). The chips were thinner than usual so that between the time you dipped them and they arrived in your mouth the chip was nicely softened. Bathroom clean. My only disappointment was that Casa Amigos replaces Scotty B's, which was my favorite restaurant in Westonka for thirty five years.

Our favorite local haunt. Their food has recently gotten even better than their opening (e.g. old queso was too watery, but current is absolutely fire). Highly recommend. Locally owned, with the friendliest and most attentive staff. The only negative I have heard is when it’s busy service can be mixed, but every time that’s happened to us it’s been absolutely slammed with staff working very hard. Cannot recommend enough!

We love getting take out from here! Their salsa and chips are awesome, their cheese dip with chorizo is delicious, and quesa birria tacos are a MUST!!

Has seafood chimichanga and all the fixins, and it was absolutely wonderful!! I highly recommend this place the portion was huge could easily split it and I will definitely be ordering this again!

Service is top notch, had barely sat down and had fresh chips and salsa in front of us! The food is wonderful, atmosphere is warm and festive. I had the chicken with cheesy smothered rice it was fantastic!! We will be back!

We moved to Mound a year ago and just tried Casa Amigos. We love it! Great drinks, fun atmosphere, attentive wait staff, and the food was really good. Yum!

Very reasonably priced, great service, friendly people, loved the fresh made guacamole that is made at the table in front of us…delicious
