The Catbird Seat Garden Center

Adopted a few vegetable plants and bought some supplies and a rosemary plant. Very cute place, will definitely be back, next time I’m going to go a lot slower coming in, it’s a bit hard going from like 60mph to zero so fast 😅

The garden lady was extremely sweet and helpful answering my terrarium questions. Even gave me a handful of starter soil. Very personable staff. BEAUTIFUL plants. I will return.

Overall great experience. Knowledgeable and friendly staff helped me pick out good clay-busting plants. All plants I saw were healthy and happy, and there was a wide variety and good quantity of everything.

Of particular note, their bonsai selection is unique and beautiful. You can get everything from desktop displays to an entire miniature meadow under a maple tree in a 3' wide pot, and they sell the right planters, soil, and tools to DIY or maintain a display.

As a succulent nut, I loved the wide variety of healthy succulents in 3" and 6" nursery pots. They also sell some arrangements, including mini arrangements in 3" decorative pots, ready to gift or beautify your space.

Only downsides: their indoor space is rather small, so their selection of tropical houseplants, bird feeders, tools, etc. is also small. I also don't remember any patio sets for sale. Given how well they do everything else, that's not a criticism at all, this is just the wrong place to go if you are seeking out those items. (If you're there anyway though, give their houseplants a look - lush and gorgeous like the rest of their plants!)

I have only had amazing experiences at this place! Staff is super friendly and the plants are in excellent conditions! Everyone is so helpful and will happily help you out and answer any of your questions! I have bought multiple plants from here and will continue to do so since they are always in amazing condition!

The Catbird Seat Garden Center is a delightful place to visit.

There are huge trees on the property that tower above the facility. There are short paths through the trees with various lawn decorations along the side. The decorations are in a variety of shapes and sizes.

There are also numerous pots for flowers and plants. There is an excellent selection with a variety of prices.

I found the layout to be colorful and very pleasant. We came for a small pot, found one the right shape and color after considering many options, and ended up with a perfect choice for less than $25.00. There was also a variety of bird seed to put out for wild birds in the garden shop which was on our shopping list.

There are a wide variety of plants for lawns. We were not in the market for this at this time but walking around, the selection was plentiful.

We had a phenomenal experience at this little local garden center today!

We were kindly greeted as soon as we walked in the door and got to say hello to two incredibly sweet kitties! We then walked around the outdoor gardens and picked up some gorgeous succulents, soil, along with an adorable cactus!

The woman at the front made my day (I am terrible with names (red pixie cut)! She was extremely helpful, very knowledgeable, and assisted my husband and I in collecting everything we would need for our succulent planters! She also got us some cat grass for our kitties! The cherry on top... She's a Colorado native like myself!

We will definitely be back!

Bought two beautiful hanging baskets that will be loaded with flowers that the hummingbirds will like this year and two beautifully blooming begonias. They are friendly and helpful in a wealth of information and have a great variety of plants and trees.

I’ve been shopping at the Catbird Seat for quite a while, at least 5 years. I love their customer service, knowledge/helpfulness, and plant selection.

Appreciate Scott helping us yesterday with our lawn problems. They have a guide for the “doityourselfer” to take care of their lawn and provide solutions.

And of course, they love cats. 😻

Just bought some lovely begonias, purple velvet plant, iresine, a napeta, and a clethra. Very nice and friendly service. And an exasperated but very tolerant cat.

Absolutely fantastic! Bought so many great plant from here last week. The most fragrant Sweet Tea Olive and the Orange variety. Highly recommend

Staff is very helpful and friendly.
Prices are very competitive. I totally suggest visiting here before you go to the big box stores

Staff was super friendly and took the time to help me find what I was looking for. Also was patient with me when I had questions (I do not know much about plants). Also, found this cute little guy there that they had setup and I fell in love.

Loved walking thru all the plant houses. I bought a very nice Gardenia plant. Going to buy another one today. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about all things plants.

First time visiting today. Lovely selection of plants that are very healthy and vibrant. Great variety of all kinds of plants and quality gardening products and accessories. Staff was kind and helpful and prices were reasonable on top of all those good points. I regretfully bought a bonsai tree a few days before visiting, their trees are gorgeous! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good plant nursery.
