Such a clean and friendly environment from
two amazing owners who have created such a welcoming atmosphere while being at the gym. They both are so positive and dedicated towards making everyone exceed their goals. They have pushed me to be better and really care about keeping you on the fit and healthy track. I see people of all ages working out in there and the beginners to the pros. I was a beginner knowing nothing about the gym and the owners welcomed me in, showed me the ropes, and now I’m never not there!! If you are reading this review, get your butt to American Tough and experience the amazing atmosphere and pump for yourself! I absolutely love this gym, there is seriously no place like American Tough Fitness!

Want to give a huge shoutout to Tim, the gym's owner, who really helped me for two months of training. When I started the individual training sessions at ATF I had shoulder pain that would not go away. It was on going for about 5 months even after doing stretches, taking long breaks in working out...it was really messing with my goals and routine.

Within 2 weeks of training with Tim, my shoulder pain had subsided and was most likely a result of overloading sets, not adequately resting between workout days, and not targeting smaller, very important muscles. Tim helped coach me as well as push me in order to strengthen my rear delt and shoulder muscles. In the two months I was training with ATF I dropped a pant size, started seeing a more sculpted composition, and shoulder pain is just about non-existent. (The two videos posted in this review was the last week of my training, and I wouldn't have been able to do those angles/movements back in February 2024.)

Super grateful for Tim and Bri for being incredible gym owners who truly care about those who are serious about their health and well-being. If you are in the Mayville area and surrounding townships...you would be foolish not to check out this hidden gem! Get up and go join today!

I have been going here for about 2 years and I have never had a bad experience. The first time I came to this gym I was confused on where to start or what to do and the owners showed me what to do. The gym is clean and organized and the environment is unmatched. I started coming here when I was 14 and I didn't have a job at the time. The owners let me work for them and they showed me that I was going to have to work for things if I really wanted them. When I turned 16 they told me I was going to have to get an actual job, I did just that and now I can pay for myself. They taught me very valuable lessons and I see them as non biological parents and I view this gym as a home away from home.

I have been to a lot of gyms all across the state and this gym is still my favorite. The environment and people there are unmatched. You won't find a more welcoming, friendly gym with the nicest owners. Their equipment is also amazing.

This is a great place to work out, build your body, and build friendships. The owners are super people and they genuinely care about helping the community stay fit and healthy. A very clean and friendly environment. Beginners to pros are welcome and made to feel at home. We are blessed to have this gym in our little town.
