Il Castello Pizzeria e Ristorante

The food was exceptional. Everyone working there was very nice... I was treated like I was a long standing customer, even though it was my first time there.

Peter and his wife run a great business. The pizza reminds me of the pizza that you can only get in the Bronx. My 93 year old Mom has been enjoying peters pizza for 37 years. The restaurant is a long drive from home, but we go regularly due to the quality.

Traveling through this area with family and was lucky to find this restaurant. The place was packed but all the workers hustled and were on top of everything AND friendly. My baked ziti was perfect...my sister insists it was "the best gluten free pizza" she ever had. 10 out of 10 for Il Castello!

Pizza places usually make good cheesesteaks. The one I had here was one of the best cheesesteaks I've ever had in my life... and it was huge. I ate the whole thing and barely touched my cheese fries because I was stuffed! I'll have to go back and try the pizza some time, if I'm not at the cardiologist haha.

As a true Foodie I cannot find one item on Ii Castello's menu that has not been prepared perfectly!!! A nice salad bar compliments the substantial portions served. PIZZA. ALL DELICIOUS!!!

Simply the most amazing pizza ever! There is no comparison to the flavor, we always make sure to eat here as much as possible when we visit.

The combo pizza sandwich was so tasty.
The warm crunchy pizza dough and the fresh ingredients of lettuce, tomato n onion were over the top with the lunch meat and cheese.

I can't find anything wrong with this place it's got great food, great atmosphere, and the staff is awesome. It's also right there by the river too, so say you come off the river grab a slice and head back out your mistake is not grabbing two slices. Just don't think this place is just a pizzeria. They've got a great menu with other Italian dishes.

What a gem! We stopped by on a boring Saturday road trip. It's about an hour from our house in a small town, but they did not disappoint. The place is very clean and very welcoming. The waitresses were very nice and welcoming and the food was great. We ordered a handful of garlic knots, a slice of pizza(for our 8 year old) and two hoagies. Not a single complaint. We even had the honor of the owner come out and chat with us for a few minutes. Will definitely will be going back in the future.

Best kept secret!! Great food, always get our pizza needs here. At any time anyone is In the area, you need to stop by for food!

Great place. Needed last minute dinner googled spots close by they popped up and was super impressed.

Pizza by the slice or whole pie.
The meatball sub was DELICIOUS.
Mozzarella sticks were perfectly cooked. Not overly breaded and not too oily. They were very fresh.
They offer Ken's brand ranch dressing.
They do have WiFi for guest use.

I have found my new favorite pizzeria!! The Stuffed Pie is the BEST!! 😍

Highly recommend stopping in or ordering out if you are in the area.

It may be dangerous for me though ... since I just moved into the neighborhood a few months ago. 😁

Fantastic food! Service was great. 10 people walked in on a Saturday afternoon unannounced and we were treated spectacularly. Everyone loved their meals.

We take out pizza here occasionally, they make a good Hawaiian pie and the garlic knots are always big and delicious.

We've always loved this place serving some of the best food around. We showed up on a Friday night but place was closed. So sad to see a for sale sign out front. Hope everything with family/owners is OK. We will miss you and your awesome food!

Great place! The food is amazing!

I've had pizza all over the world and this is by far the best Margherita Pizza I've ever had! Amazing chocolate dipped cannoli. Great sandwiches too. Can't wait to make a special trip back next time I'm around!
