El Mexiquense Grill

I wasn't expecting much but wow! Both my shrimp and fish taco were amazing. I was really surprised with the flavor of the tilapia taco. Wish we got more chips for the salsa bar though. Even my wife loved her tacos. Took a bit of time for the food to come out, longer than expected. I'll be back though. I also want to ad the gal at the register knew what foods were gluten free.

Love this spot! It's rare to find a Mexican spot outside of CA that really does it right but this place nails it. Two of my kids live within 5 minutes of it and they loved it immediately and will likely eat there regularly. My son in law grew up in CA and misses this stuff and he seems to be delighted that he can get it right down the street. I live in NV but I visit a lot so I'll be stopping by any time I'm in town. Great food, service and ambiance!

The family meal is da booomb! Two pounds of meats, rice, beans, chips, salsas, tortillas (you may need to buy more of those because it's not enough), and a two liter bottle. You'll have tacos for days! Check out all that goodness. Make some bean burritos. The meats are fantastic, though the El Pastor stands apart. Carne Asada is great, but not as iconic for them as their Al Pastor. Be sure to get pineapple!!!

It's a good place to get some tacos and other Mexican food. The chimichanga is good but not particularly special. The steak is my favorite meat, but others tell me the Al Pastor is the best. Get those meats with any dish, and you should likely be happy.

Great food great service good prices. Dining Room is cute and they have a separate bar where you can serve yourself sauces and they have fresh limes for your food. They also have these wonderful punch drinks available. There's a coconut, a lemon lime, a pineapple mango and a cantaloupe flavor! Wonderful drinks especially for fruit lovers! This place is great for kids and families.

Delicious food. I usually get the Al Pastor tacos and they are 💯! They do a great job with seasoning them and give you a decent chunk of pineapple on top. Each meal comes with a bag of tortilla chips and there is a pretty nice salsa bar where you can grab whatever hotness of salsa is right for you. They also have a variety of drinks including horchata and Jamiaca. The portion of food is substantial!

One of the best authentic Mexican (fast?) food I’ve had in quite a number of years. Three of the four salsa’s were extremely flavorful with just the right amount of heat. (I like some heat, as long as there is a nice flavor.) The carne asada quesadilla was substantial and very tasty. We also tried a couple tacos: The Birria was delicious, with just a little flavorful fat included, which I love..The Al pastor was the best I’ve had anywhere - flavorful, juicy with three small slices of pineapple on top. Yum!

Im not certain, but the flour and corn tortillas appeared to be hand made - and were amazing.

Every plate ordered was accompanied by a small bag of very fresh, crisp and yummy tortilla chips plus two small salsa cups to fill from their amazing salsa bar..

The service , I feel was a bit slow because they had a large catering order they were filling as we arrived. I think that was an anomaly and that their service would usually be very good. At any rate the food was well worth the wait.

Delicious torta! I had never had one before so I tried the special and it did not disappoint. I've also tried the street tacos and they were amazing. They offer chips and salsa while you wait with a great salsa bar.

9/05/24 - just a quick update. This is the second time I've gotten a chimichanga, and they are so good. Crispy on the outside and delicious inside.

Im from Merida, Yucatán, Mexico and I LOVE THIS PLACE. I’ve been missing good tacos al pastor since I moved to the states and this place is the best I’ve tried! Quality ingredients and fresh! 🇲🇽♥ thank you for bringing the authenticity 🇲🇽

El Mexiquense Grill was so delicious!! We found this place after we ordered ice cream around the corner and couldn't resist checking it out. The restaurant was clean and adhered to the COVID guidelines, and the staff was very nice and welcoming. The restaurant was also open for dine in, so there were a few people siting down and waiting for their food to be ready. We ordered our food to go and got 2 tacos (Al pastor and carne asada) and the super delicious mango pineapple drink from the drink bar. I recommend this place for super fast Mexican food and will be back if ever in the Lehi area.

Had the tacos al pastor. DELICIOUS! Nicely grilled meat and nicely seasoned.
The mild sauce was flavorful and not too spicy.

The mexiquense nachos were delicious too.

I am not a taco expert, but for me this is the best tacos I've had in the Utah valley area. Really love this shop and the variety and selection the El Pastors taste amazing, the carne asada is great, and th shrimp taco is my favorite.
they open at 10:30 but I've never seen them have the menu up and going until about 11:15 so just keep that in mind, but once they're up and going it's amazing.

You get SO MUCH BANG for your buck at this place. I am more of a flour tortilla guy myself so I think by default they come with corn, but they were happy to provide flour tortillas at no additional cost.

Service was quick, and the staff was friendly. The pastor tacos weren’t your typical pastor tacos but still tasty, but the SHRIMP is where it’s at. The tangy sauce they throw on that thang is just unreal, I will be getting that every single time here on out, no doubt.

Just hope they continue expanding!

Great food here! I got the nachos with steak and they were to die for! The cheese was perfectly melted, the guac was tasty, and there was just the right amount of meat! The only downside here was that on the particular night I visited here, we waited for probably 20 minutes for our food, in the restaurant. Just seemed kind of odd for a borderline fast food restaurant. But chips and salsa are included in most meals which is always a plus!

I love this place! The salsa bar is legit with flavorful, mild and super hot options. Al pastor all the way though baby. I’ve ordered the exact same thing twice in a row now: chicken quesadillas and al pastor tacos with pineapple. Good stuff. I keep bringing other people here because that’s how I found it. This is my second time coming here. I got the chicken tacos it was so fresh and delightful. I literally was in heaven The place was super clean and the staff were super friendly. I definitely love this place.

Mexiquense is my go-to. Delicious elote. I like the enchiladas rojas, tacos, and tortas, among many good options. Also, the manager Mari is awesome. Super nice, quality service

Always a good time here. Great portions for the price. I love the fresh corn tortillas, softer than any others I've eaten at a restaurant. The meat is always well seasoned, and the fresh salsa can't be beat.

I had the fish tacos and it was the best street tacos I've had in Utah. It was so good. My wife had the pulled pork tacos that were equally as good. I am totally going back to this place because dang it was good
