Awesome place to visit. Super friendly staff. Let my fily try a few different flavors so we could find something we liked to order. Overall atmosphere was pleasant and very clean. Would visit again for sure.

Mexican flavor ice cream and many other things, excellent, most of the time there is a line but worth the wait.

Only had ice cream, but the flavors were plentiful and delightful. Rich and robust. Not cheap - but well worth the wonderful experience. Very colorful and so clean!

Love to come here. Always super clean and great service. Love getting the aguas frescas de pepino y limon con chia. Yes, it gets very busy with long lines but only at times people are out in the afternoon but that is expected since it's very yummy. 📸 IG: @sunflash.photography

When I saw they were open on my way home from work, I had to stop by! Love going here for fruit smoothies, they don't add ice and they do.NOT.PLAY when it comes to their fruit portions! It took me 2 days to finish my fruit smoothie!! Was great to have something light compared to the heavy food we were eating for the holiday! Feliz navidad a todas!! 🙂🙏🙏🙏

Staff very friendly, and inviting the business looks so bright and clean inside. Professional. Outside windows dark couldn't quite tell the type of business but the sign lead me to the right spot. Enjoy it's delicious 😋

OMG i felt like a kid in a candy store...so many different flavors so many ice cream options to choose from...i had the Gelato and let me tell you i couldn't stop eating it..it was soo good..I told the man i will definitely be back!

Service was amazing! This is the best smoothie I've ever had in my life, and the elotes ♡♡♡ perfection. Authentic Mexican food and treats served with smiles ♡ the lady was super nice to me amd helped me with my Spanish too. I'm definitely going back. I've already recommended this place to friends ♡♡♡

La Michoacana in Joliet is a gem! Authentic flavors in every bite, from the creamy paletas to the tangy mangonadas. Friendly, normal atmosphere, but a large variety of options. A welcoming feel in every visit! Highly recommend the lemon con chia drink.

Great ice cream, everything else & service

Best ice cream in town by far!!! The place is very clean inside, the fruit is also very fresh, and the variety of options are endless. They are open every day of the week, and have pretty late hours, and still they always seem to be packed all the time. So you may have to wait in line a little longer than most places, but it’s well worth the wait! I highly recommend checking the place out, and I guarantee you won’t be disappointed, and will be glad you did!

If it’s not premium, it’s not Michoacána. The best Mexican ice cream and desserts in the area. Do not go anywhere else, I have and regretted not just coming here instead. Sometimes long wait but worth it.

Ice cream and flavors are very good. I wish I took pictures of the bananna split but I ate it before I thought to do so. Next time I will take photos. The cream cones just have the occream placed on top instead of pushing it inside. Other than this it's still a five star ice cream shop.

Great Food and awesome Chia Drinks

Attentive personnel. Friendly and knowledgeable. Deelish-cious Ice cream made on site. Great variety of deserts and traditional treats. A bit steep in price but the taste is worth it. Need a bit more organization; waited 12min to be waited on and it wasn't busy in a Thursday night.

Went on a Sunday night and surprisingly it was still packed even though it was later in the evening. Nothing too unexpected though. The quality of their products is simply the best around town so the wait was totally worth it. All these other commercial ice cream parlors (except for maybe Oberweis) got nothing on Michoacana Premium!

Went here to purchase a beat juice drink. It wasn't as tasteful as the woman at my jobs. Or helps with your raising your hemoglobin levels. I don't from the snickering of the young ladies that they knew how exactly to make it. I'll inquire next time. But the place is beautiful inside and such a variety.
