Richie's Real American Diner

Stopped in for breakfast and was greeted at the door and sat at a booth right away. It was just about a full house with just some seats left at the counter facing the kitchen. I had the eggs Benedict with home style potatoes, and my wife had the sirloin steak and eggs. Both were delicious. We shared a large fresh squeezed orange juice served in a frosty cold 22 oz. mug. Excellent service and authentic 50s style diner experience.

Let me start by saying this was THE FASTEST SERVICE I've had in a long time. Wow, the kitchen staff knows what their doing. We were seated right away without waiting, the food itself was delicious, and you get a large portion. I had breakfast and definitely want to come back and try their lunch menu. I love that they bbq their own meats...tri tip for breakfast? yes, please! Also, please try the 5 berry jam because it's really good, I bought a jar on the way out.

This place is a gem! Jack was an icon in the restaurant game for many many years and then he opened this 50's style diner. He ran it with the idea of great food, reasonable pricing and awesome service! Many time you would see Jack here walking around letting everyone know how beautiful and awesome they were before his death a few years back... Not the same without him, but the food, service and decor are still top notch. The bbq is great, burgers are delicious and pretty much any entree you choose is a winner. You can sit inside and enjoy the decor and 50's music or sit outside on the patio and enjoy the fresh Temecula air.

Great diner with a classic American feel! We ordered the meatloaf and the tri tip sliders and enjoyed them. The service was very friendly and quick. They have an outdoor patio as well with heat lamps and are dog friendly. Recommend, great spot!

Richie's Diner is a fun place to visit. The food is great with many choices of soups, salads, sandwiches, BQ etc. Great desserts too including pies, cakes, ice cream and a wonderful Banana Split big enough to share. We'll worth a visit.

An amazing local staple with down-home wholesome food, great service, and a very clean and well maintained restaurant. I've been eating here for years, and it has never been disappointing. The menu is also full of options, even for the pickiest of eaters.

Brought the family and they were ALL full, that's no small feat, I have 3 teenage boys🤣. Nice family atmosphere and quick service. We'll be back to fill their tummies

Read the reviews and we decided to go have breakfast. As you walk up you see the BBQ grill and the wonderful smell. They're not playing around and just saying that's it's BBQ I actually say then taking ribs of the grill and they looked wonderful. We had Lauren as our server and she was great. It was busy but she was on top of everything. I ordered the breakfast sampler no eggs with extra hash browns and the Cinnamon roll. The meats were still good, next time I'll get another piece of tri-tip instead since it was so good. My cousin has the best breakfast. This place has so many options and the food is fresh and tasty. The fresh oj was really good too. I'll definitely be back with the family.

It wasn't dry like other places we have gone to. I my self had the bbq sliders with the potatoes salad and coleslaw. The BBQ was soooo good!! Super tender and the mango BBQ sauce was delish. Definitely will be coming back again.

First time here. Had the look and feel of an old time diner. Plenty of seating and we arrived early but an hour later the place was packed. Ordered the 3 bbq combo which was smoked chicken, tri tip and pork ribs. My wife ordered the half lb burger with all the fixins. Also had a strawberry lemonade which was full of berries and very good. Food came and the burger was massive and messy as it should be. My combo was very good. Only complaint was the ribs were kind of dry and the tri tip was sliced too thick. Also came with beans and cole slaw which were both very good. For dessert we split a bread pudding which was excellent. Our waitress was spot on and gave us great service. On the way iut I bought a T-shirt with a old Ford pickup on it. Shirts are really cool. Overall we really enjoyed everything and will be back as there alot things we'd like to try.

We stopped here when another local breakfast place had a long wait. I'm so glad we went here! It's so cute, the menu is great, and the service was outstanding. I would definitely return!

Bomb,bomb,bomb, highly recommended this place. First time here. The breakfast sampler with biscuits and gravy with 4 meats is DELICIOUS. Will not disappoint the taste buds and people are awesome

It seems like they just get better and better. Loved the tri-tip salad And my friend had a huge Piece of meatloaf And great vegetables. She had to take some of it home. Most people would probably have taken part of the tri-tip salad home but it was too good to leave any of it. Service is always friendly and Efficient. Love the old music.

Came in for brunch , place was almost full but we got a good table. Love the good old fashioned vibes what with the retro decor, big servings, food was okay, the waitress who served us was very nice and sincere. Will surely visit this place again.

Fantastic food, amazing service, good prices and not too long of a wait despite there being a ton of people. I’m so glad my friend recommended it. We had the chicken fried steak, a kids breakfast and blueberry pancakes. Their jelly is to die for! It was really delicious and I’d come back if we lived closer.

Came in to have some breakfast and lunch with my sister. And it was delicious. Fiest of all the server was super friendly. My sister had the turkey croissant breakfast sandwich and it was good. Richie's greets you with the smell of BBQ out front, a welcoming manager, and a friendly and efficient serving team.

The food is delicious, the menu is wide and varied, and the atmosphere wraps you up in nostalgia.

Any reason is a great reason to go to Richie's.

We enjoyed an early breakfast at Richie’s . My wife and I went with their #1 breakfast. Mine was cooked perfectly, her eggs weren’t cooked as requested but otherwise we both enjoyed our meals. Our server checked on us constantly and my coffee cup was always full. Spiffy 50’s decor with comfy booths is a nice throwback to memory lane.

My family and I stopped in on December 1st while on our way to a family function in Murrieta. I ordered a BLT on sourdough toast with extra tomato 🍅! It's been a long time since I've had a sandwich that good! The only thing I forgot to ask for was some avocado 🥑 on the sandwich.

I also need to mention our server. Her name was Hailee - GREAT ATTITUDE - GREAT SERVICE!

Nice atmosphere. Love the old time feel of the place. Great service and great food. Liz is an awesome server.
