Went in an hour before they closed and ordered a Dr. Seuss, I was a little worried about the price of some of the stuff but compared to most places the prices aren't even high. The burrito came up pretty fast though, and he asked if I wanted a bag (appreciated). I walked a half hour back home and then waited a bit more before actually eating it, and not only was it still nice and warm and HUGE, it tasted delicious. I was gobsmacked; it tasted so good. I also love how the bottom and sides were toasted and sealed, making the overall experience of eating it even better. Very good experience and will go again to try other delicacies.

If you want breakfast in Champaign, you better come to Cracked! The food here is so good and the concoctions of savory goodness are creative and ideal. I had the Sloppy Jose, which is a chorizo sandwich with guacamole, hash brown, and a fried egg. I loved this sandwich, especially with the sauce provided at the tables. I also tried the French toast bites. I asked for extra cinnamon sugar and mixed it in with lots of syrup. After that added load of sugar, the bites were good, but I probably do not recommend. Coffee is good. The atmosphere is nice and has U of I stuff everywhere. Service was good but the sandwiches took forever to be made. Luckily, the tasted very good to make up for it. I will definitely be coming back to Cracked to try more items off the menu!

Delicious breakfast spot! Ordered the Sloppy Jose breakfast sandwich (smoked chorizo, guacamole, hash browns, fried egg, and homemade bacon onion jam), tree hugger grilled cheese (mozzarella, tomatoes, garlic basil pesto, and balsamic glaze on sourdough), and french toast bites.
I would HIGHLY recommend the Sloppy Jose. I'm still dreaming of that bacon onion jam because it was absolutely delicious.
Good to know: I got a small french toast bites order but it was pretty big.

Good food. Good coffee. Good music playing. Good price. Uncomfortable seats. Noisy interior. Too much “Illini“ stuff on the walls. Should put up some art instead. Overall pretty good though.

I am a big fan of cracked. I don't wake up early enough for breakfast often, but it's great to get when you do have time in the morning or late nights on weekends. The food is so good, everything I've ever gotten has always fit the mood I'm in and it's not very expensive too. I swear this place is always playing my playlist too, just another reason to love it. Although it's not the biggest restaurant on campus the vibes and sitting down is great

Tried this 3 years ago when they were only a food truck! Finally got to come back to Champaign and found out they've open a store front!! The line is super long on a Sunday morning but the food was definitely worth it!

Had takeout for the first time yesterday, and it was perfect. Piping hot, and as good as my wife would always describe. Will definitely try again.

I’ve loved Cracked since I was a bright eyed and bushy tailed freshman. I have never had a bad meal in either the food truck or the brick and mortar location. The white cheddar bacon tots are a gift from above. The Goy Vey is a delicious marriage of spicy and savory foods. The original Morning Bender is a staple in the menu. While seating may be limited, the most fantastic food can be found inside this shop.

I was staying in town for the weekend and this was quick and easy breakfast in a very short walk from the Union.

I ordered the Vegasm breakfast sandwich and a decaf coffee. The sandwich was excellent, a great mix of flavors and very filling. The bread was flakey and falling apart a bit, which in my book is pretty much perfect for a breakfast sandwich. No complaints!

They didn't have decaf coffee ready when I showed up so they made it fresh. It was darker than i normally enjoy but a perfectly fine cup of coffee.

I was about to leave and found out they had sweet potato tots so now I have something to try if I get a chance to make it back before I leave Champaign!

I have tried the breakfast wraps and the breakfast bowls and both are excellent. The tots are the best around. We usually go early when they first open so it's nice and quiet and we get our food quick. We make a habit of eating there at least twice a month if not more. Good food. Good prices and a friendly staff.

Great place for food and coffee. I always get either the dirty bird or mother clucker. The twins get it right every time. Great people that run the joint.

Fantastic food and even better service. Interior is great and the music gives the whole place a fun aesthetic. I love getting a meal there before big days.

Came in here with low expectations, because breakfast restaurants are either underwhelming or have those horrible crumbly scrambled eggs that are not good. This was not the case here. I had one of their breakfast burritos and it was phenomenal. The staff were INCREDIBLY friendly and looked like they genuinely wanted to be there. Also, they have a Coke Freestyle machine. Great place.

I love this place. Fantastic food - my favorite is the Sloppy Jose, the chorizo is to die for!

On top of that the staff are great. Once I accidentally dropped my entire sandwich open on the floor, because I’m a klutz. They replaced it for free, even though they didn’t have to. They gained a loyal customer.

The owner here is a heck of a sociable guy! Im quite aware of the minimalist mindset in the Midwest, if its over 10 bucks its not a deal type of mindset. Well fresh, in season ingredients are not cheap nor easy to come by. The owner has done a great job sourcing the ingredients and preparing them. Absolutely amazing chipotle sauce and im not sure what goldenbeards issue was with the coffee, but i landed there on a good day visiting from Cali, and ill tell ya what, wasnt over priced and was definitely some good nitro coffee on tap! Definitely returning!! Thanks for the midwest hospitality.

Edited, this is years old and found in my drafts ha

The price is a little expensive for my taste, but I think it's worth it. The food is always exceptionally good

The last time I went, they were out of a few items/drinks. A lot of places are experiencing ingredient shortages at this point so I don't blame them. Check beforehand to make sure what you want is available.
