Fisherman's Wharf

Definitely some of the best seafood I have ever had! Tastes so fresh. The dishes are tasty and fun (the shrimp kisses were delicious and still make my fiancé giggle). We ordered the fried shrimp and stuffed shrimp, the famous fish sandwich, the Galveston trio. We had a couple of drinks as well while we waited for a table and they were also delicious! Get the root beer bread pudding: it was so smooth, had the taste of root beer without being strange, and the sauce was the best 👌 The presentation is also very cute too.

We arrived late in the evening and were seated fairly quickly. I asked to be by the water so I could see the Elissa. The waitress was really nice and brought our drinks quickly. Once we ordered the food came out promptly. The food was hot and just like it should be. Everything was good including the views.

This place was incredible! The food was mouthwatering, it’s so good you have to try it! I recommend the shrimp po boy sandwich! It’s fantastic, on the other hand I would not recommend their flounder sandwich. The servers are so kind and respectful. The place is set in a great location, you will have a great view of the water and ships! The inside of the restaurant is so fun! 100% recommend!

All of the food was phenomenal. The oysters were fresh, calamari had a great flavor, the stuffed tilapia was the best stuffed seafood I've had. It was also topped with 2 grilled shrimp. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Went here for the vibe and plus it was downtown. Food was pretty good and the service was great. Wait time here is a bit crazy but we'll worth it. At least downtown is across the street while you wait. Definitely recommend trying this place.

Great place right on the water. Food very good. Cocktails excellent with good prices. Eating next to a Tall ship and across the bay from the USS Texas battleship was pretty awesome as well. Fantastic service.

The food was really good, sometimes I'm skeptical of these places that attract tourists. The service was a bit slow, especially by US standards, but it was polite. Servers did not seem familiar with gluten allergies which was also a bit worrying. The ambiance is nice, but the view is somewhat marred by the industrial shipping docks. I'd come again for the food though. The portions are very large, and the prices are reasonable, given the quality and quantity. They also validate parking up to 3 hours so you can walk around the area as well.

Were in the harbor area for lunchtime and picked this place. Enjoyed a fried seafood platter, which was very good. It included "shrimp kisses (bacon-wrapped shrimp)", oysters and crab cake as well as fries and cole slaw). Pleasant atmosphere. Server was friendly and attentive. If you eat outside (patio) you have a good view of the harbor (opted to dine in with A/C, ha). Good experience here.

MUST TRY! Our new favorite place, hands down! We're on vacation and came to enjoy drinks and dinner on the water, our server was ANDREA and she was AMAZING! The lobster and steak was perfectly seasoned and I'm picking but would definitely order many more times. The shrimp kisses appetizer was delicious, the pina coloda was perfect. Amazing service and food! View was beautiful especially at sunset!

Alfonso was one of the best waiters I have ever had! Great atmosphere and a great all around experience 👍

I wish there was was a 6 star option for service because our waiter Constance was a delight, such a happy and informative person. I hope she gets a compliment from the company because she made this meal so wonderful. The food was really good. I’m not the biggest raw Oyster snob but these oysters were killer. I got the fried seafood platter and my girlfriend got the lobster and crawfish pasta. I wasn’t a huge fan of the shrimp but everything else was amazing especially the fried oyster and crab cakes. The pasta had plenty of meat. The place is so pretty and clean. I wanted to sit outside but my date was too cold ha! If you do sit outside you’re in for a great view.

Great service, atmosphere and food. We were right on the water so it was neat seeing the ships go in and out. Plus there was like a pirate looking ship right outside the deck. The key lime pie is fresh made daily and it's delicious. They cooked a good steak with lump crab and my husband had the stuffed tilapia which was amazing. The lobster bisque soup definitely something you should try.

We sat in the patio which is by the harbor and we could see the sunset during our dinner. Food was great with very generous portion. Service was good. And they provide validation for the parking in front of the restaurant.

This is the best restaurant in town! The food is amazing. The veiw is even better! And when they say don't feed the birds. Trust me. Don't! 🤣 🤣 🤣 they swarm on the place like a band if pirates! Speaking of there is a giant pirate ship next to the restaurant. It's not really a pirate ship, but it's the next best thing.

04-18-2024 1:30 PM our first time at Fisherman’s Wharf after a morning at Moody Gardens [meh]. Seated promptly by a window with a nice view of Battleship USS Texas [BB-35], across Galveston Channel, at Pelican Island. We were met by our food server, Andrea [with an outgoing personalty] who took our drink and appetizer order of Calamari. The Calamari was perfectly done and the marinara sauce was very good. I ordered the Mahi Mahi and my bride ordered Shrimp Scampi. My Mahi Mahi was very good and the Scampi was the best she has ever had [it was the mushrooms!]. Andrea was very attentive and always made sure our iced teas were full. It was a relaxing, unhurried lunch. We made a good choice coming here!

Amazing as always. We were here today 6/19/24 durring the tropical storm. Even though our normal seat on the patio was underwater, we still enjoyed it. It was a different experience watching the gulf engulf the patio as the tide rose above it. Service is always great here, along with the food.

Went on a holiday weekend, and only waited about 30 mins to get a table. Sat at the bar in the meantime. Food was excellent and service was excellent. Good vibe through the restaraunt.

Our experience was absolutely phenomenal! The food was the best we had on our trip to Galveston! Our waitress was so friendly and accommodating. Patrick the manager was so friendly and took my husband and I to the second floor so that we could get this picture. We would definitely go back!

Fantastic appetizer seafood cocktail accompanied by some amazing entrees. Everything was prepared to perfection. Great atmosphere, and the wait staff were extremely friendly!!
We're definitely coming back.
