Moody Gardens Resturaunt

Stopped by today in between exploring the pyramids. I don’t know why so many bad reviews. I had a wonderful experience. For only $25 per adult we were able to get the buffet, which includes free water or tea. Everything was delicious: the baked potato , RIBEYE steak, the salads, pastas, beef soup, fresh fruit! Everything was fresh and delicious. The servers were very friendly. When we were done with a plate they swiftly removed it. When we needed refills, they were there. We were seated near the window with wonderful views. For my daughter we got the Mac and cheese for $7 instead of paying $15 for the buffet for her, since I know she wouldn’t eat much I didn’t think it was worth it. Prices were good for a buffet in my opinion, because the quality and flavor is there. We spent more at Saltgrass yesterday (just for 2 adults) and not nearly as good. Only negative is the tables and chairs, need to upgrade them to something not so 1900s looking. But other than that 10/10. Oh and if you don’t want buffet you can also just order like a normal restaurant

Happy with our experience here! Did have to wait to get seated, slight communication issue. We did not eat off of the restaurant menu, we had the BBQ Buffet which was great! Our waitress was great, and the view was a plus!

I would like to highlight how amazing my experience was at this place, the food was delicious, the attention of the waiters was spectacular. Highly recommended if you want to come and spend a pleasant time.

Stopped by to eat after visiting the Aquarium and Rainforest. They have a buffet or you can order off the menu. The food is great and the views are even greater.

The food was amazing and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of!

Was great if your mad about the price best part is you dont have to eat there.

Food was amazing best shrimp I've had in galveston, slightly high prices, service was great, would definitely like to see it a little cleaner though however still would recommend the food.

Great view of the bay and paddlewheel boat. We chose to eat off the menu, which was pricey, but you received good-sized portions for the dollar amount. Service was not that great. Waitress didn't tend to the table as much, left empty glasses. We had a group of 8 and gratuity was already worked into the check, 22% I don't feel that's right and that the service was not worth the amount we all paid.

Management!!! Deep CLEAN AND UPDATE THIS PLACE, PLEASE. OMG. Carpet cleaning, window ledges, clean chairs.(they are comfortable)...
Slow app. Cheese sticks are not hot. Please remove the lettuce. It's a waste, NO one eats it. Got our plates from the buffet.
One hour in and were done with our app. The sandwich order was incorrect. Fries were nice and hot. Sandwiches were good.
Im done with this interview.....just tired honestly....Sigh....Management please come and do things... This place should be awesome.....and it wasn't. Im disappointed yhis wasnt a good review.

Very disappointing. Went for dinner during the Festival of Lights which was a buffet meal. Food was very salty. Some meat entrées were very dry. Service was none existent. We were not able to get a refill on ice tea. For the price, I expected more.

Slow service, 30 minutes after ordering drinks we are still missing half the tables drinks (6 person table) and have not been checked on either.

Price was insane, golden coral would of been better, price, food and selection. was seated in the hallway outside the entrance, food wasnt very good either, the galvez is nicer and better food

No idea if it is always this bad, but we had a $30+ per person buffet that amounted to low quality picky kid’s meal food and ok desserts. No thanks.

It was horrible we waited for 15 minutes and got no service after we told the people at the front and we waited some more still NO SERVICE after 30 minutes of no one coming to us we left it on your in your hotel and thinking about eating here don’t go somewhere else!
