El Guacamole

Visiting from Oregon came here to eat with close friends. I had chicken enchiladas and they were delicious, big portions. The margaritas were good too!

Cute little Mexican food gem!! Highly recommend. Food was very very good and the staff was super friendly.

We’re from Texas and are spoiled with good Mexican and Tex-Mex, so we weren’t even going to try any New York Mexican food. But I’m glad that this was the last place open in town, because it forced us to try it. It was very good to excellent. I especially recommend the mango salsa (like pico de gallo with mango) and the chicken-lime soup. It was a great surprise.

I would also add that we walked in a few minutes before closing, which was clearly a disappointment to our hostess, but she quickly got over our late arrival and treated us like regulars. She talked to us later and is a real joy to visit with.

Just go (and don’t even pay attention to the people who complain about this place when some delivery service is the problem).

The food was absolutely amazing! Perhaps a bit more expensive than what most would consider reasonable, the portion sizes and flavors were fantastic! There wasn't much seating, but there seemed to be far more take out orders than dine in, so that might make sense for the area.

We will definitely be back!

Food was delicious. Place.was nice waitress was good. Nice little spot in a nice little town.

Ordered: Mango Salsa, Chicken Lime Soup, Black Bean Soup, Plantains, Tacos Al Pastor, and Aguas Frescas. It was all fantastic! The plantains were like candy! The Chicken Lime Soup was fresh and bright. The Black Bean Soup cooled any spice that was too strong, and the Aguas Frescas were sweetened to be wonderfully refreshing! We are from Texas and didn’t expect to find even good Mexican food, but this was fabulous. I’d go again.

I know nothing about Mexican food, but tried the rice bowl with crispy chicken. Was very happy and will be going back.

The guy was very nice and helped us pick out what we wanted. The food was great and the place was nice. I would go back and recommend to others.

I wasn't sure at first...the place is small and without a license. However, service is super friendly and the food is great. Even the sauces they serve with chips are excellent! One creamy and redolent of cilantro, the other a hearty, flavorful tomato salsa. Now I'm there every other week, pleased each time. I recommend a stop.

This definitely my favorite place! Best food ever! Machos Nachos, the bowls...all the meats are delicious!
Best Mexican in the area.

some of the best Mexican food I have had, ever. The owner was perfectly pleasant , not sure what others are talking about. Even my step dad who “doesn’t really like Mexican” gobbled his tacos up in 5 minutes flat. I got enchiladas with salsa verde - soooo yummy.

Went for my sons birthday dinner tonight . We had nachos, the sizzling fajitas and their chips and salsa. Everything was fresh and delicious. No loud music just the way I like it . Can't wait to go back and try something else.

Hands down the best tortilla soup I've ever had in my entire life. Like actually unreal. This is definitely a dive spot with no alcohol and a minimalist vibe but totally worth it of you are in the area.

We had booked a catering job for the family pre-wedding dinner. El Guacamole was on time, had a great presentation, and generous portions. The food was delicious!

The hostess was very friendly. I had the camarones al la diabla, the spice was spot on and the flavor was great.
