Pep Boys

Driving down the interstate , my tire went from fully inflated to completely flat. Chris and Alex were amazing. I just made it to the Madison Pep Boys shop and they found the issue and helped me with the purchase of a replacement tire. They were very friendly and professional.

I went in on 8/29/24 to get a new battery. The young man at the front desk was awesome, He was so busy but kept a smile on his face. We ran into a few small issues and he kept me updated throughout the process. It's hard to find good customer service these days, so I just want to say how much I appreciate him and I think he deserves a raise!

Had a few things going on with my vehicle and an unanticipated incident - D was very professional and honest, communicated well the whole time, and kept me in the loop. Sometimes unforeseen circumstances can occur, and D handled it well. Will continue to await resolution of the situation, but so far they have been great!

Booked on line, dropped off the car was given an estimate of 1PM. Got text message going over my car when they did all their checks. Called me to go over the things they found, answered every question I had (I had a lot of them), they did the work. Called me around 1250 to say my car was ready.

They were all friendly and helpful.

Obviously there is a new sheriff in town and it shows. I had an excellent encounter today with the new Service Manager Chase. Made an appointment a few days back and dropped the vehicle off today. There was a delay but I was kept informed without having to call back. I wish Chase the best and look forward to continue doing business with him and Pep Boys. Thanks.

Great service and nice folks that waited on me. I needed a new battery and they didn’t have the one for my car but they were next door to O’Reilly who happily brought the battery to them. They installed it and we were on our way in less than an hour. Great service!!!!

I took my vehicle in for an oil change and brake replacement. The technician called me and recommended me not doing the brake service as the brakes and rotors have a lot of life left. They did great work and actually recommended against me ordering a service which speaks volumes to their integrity.

These guys and gal :) provided excellent service. I had to make multiple appointments due to having a rim welded elsewhere. I am extremely pleased with the experience. The appointment time was right on schedule, which is something I truly value. **Note: Make your appts via phone. The internet appts are likely to be canceled.

From the moment I arrived, everything was handled efficiently and professionally and the staff was ready to assist me immediately. This level of punctuality and organization made the entire process smooth and stress-free.

My tire had a screw and staple in it, nobody else could get me in same day. I called Pep Boys at 6p they closed at 7. They told me to come in and had me back on the road quickly! I highly recommend!!! I had fantastic service from start to finish!!!

Got brakes replaced and they did a great job. Service was fast and a great price. They kept me up to speed on the work and even pointed out some things they thought I would need to address soon. Will be using them again in the future for car services.

Made an online appointment for a simple oil change. Get there and was told the tech left. They could've called, texted, or emailed me the cancelation. A week later the manager made it right and gave me an oil change on the house! I was not expecting that.

So this was an experience like no other,
let’s start with I was stranded live 35 minutes away I was at work no other options
1. I needed a tow, CHECK
2. It was after 6pm they closed at 7- no issue
3 . I needed a tire, install all… CHECK
4 . I wasn’t in the best of moods…
——- Jay and Harlene, help me understand it was going to be ok, and it was… and really educating me on why the road hazard coverage is important, I learned the hard way..
The End result
—— I was able to get my car in running order, I then was able to get back to my job and get home at the end of my shift…

Sadly to I have to add to this review and it’s not positive, I called today 2/1/24 and my call was answered by the rest lady and she wouldn’t allow me to talk act as if she was psychic and knew what I was about to say and then when I asked her for her name, she refused to give it to me and expressed that she was the manager of the shop. Wow one conversation can bring a person perception From 100 to Zero The only reason I’m not changing it from a five star is because my first experience was stellar

Supper helpful when I called, answer all my questions quickly and set me up for an appointment asap. I got tires mounted and balance along with an alignment, all went well and my Subaru was driving straight as an arrow. Overall great experience.

Great service the young men there was kind and very informative about the waiting time to change my back tires.
Will definitely go back there.

Came in unscheduled and this team took care of my tire quickly and at a price so cheap, I thought I misheard them!

Had new sets of tires put on both my Toyota 4Runner and MB GLE350. Customer service was ,excellent, as usual. Cost for service provided was fair and reasonable. Thanks for your continued support of our military veterans. Discount was much appreciated.

This PepBoys went above and beyond for us this past weekend after another PepBoys location in town screwed us over on maintenance for our car. We will 100% be using this location from now on. Very please with our experience.

I went in thinking I had a basic brake job and that’s the least of what I had. Chris & Adam assured me they were doing what they could to find the parts I needed to get the job done. I was working on my end and heard the part is on back order and we aren’t sure when it’ll be available. It only took a week and they called to let me know my car was ready. The best service I’ve ever received when it came to getting my car serviced. I’ll definitely only be using this pep boys from now on.

If I could give Pep Boys in Madison a 100 star rating I would!! Absolutely the best experience in the automotive industry I have ever had! Mo at the front desk is THE BEST!! That’s the personality and attitude you want to be greeted with when you are spending money with a company. They kept me informed the whole time my vehicle was with them. They did not do anything without my permission first. They explained every cost in detail and WHY it needed to be done, however left it fully up to me to make the decision. I will recommend this business to EVERYONE!! Thank you Pep Boys in Madison for treating me with kindness and respect!! I will be back to see you for ALL of my automotive needs!!
